sims 4 no longer opening after downloading mods

kohlg8​  If that doesn't help, the problem may be left over from GShade, in which case it's best to replace all the files it may have touched.  So with the EA App closed and the EABackgroundService NOT running in the Task Manager's background processes list, please delete the Bin folder inside [install location]\The Sims 4\Game.  Then open the EA App and select Sims 4 > Manage > Repair.
