I've bought expansion packs on Steam over the years but unfortunately Steam is no longer supported on my computer system. I've lost access to all my packs on Steam and want to know if there's a way I can install or transfer them to my EA account/EA app.
As far as I'm aware this isn't possible but I don't know if anyone has had a similar problem and knows a way around it.

lankytortoise No, there isn't a way to get the EA App to install content you own through Steam. This is by design: you need to play through Steam to access any content you own there.
Why doesn't Steam run on your computer? Perhaps this is something fixable.
I say computer it's a laptop that won't update past windows 8.1. I'm not sure if there's a way around this! It's my fault steam wouldn't open so I went to uninstall and reinstall but then it wouldn't let me because of my system being 8.1. Sad times.

You could of course skip the patch that adds back friends functionality if you don't need it.
