sohexoxo I don't see anything obviously wrong in your dxdiag. So please try playing in a clean user folder. Move the entire Sims 4 folder out of Documents > Electronic Arts and onto your desktop. When you launch the game, a clean folder will spawn with no content. (Your saves and other content will be intact in the folder you've moved but temporarily unread by the game.) Don't add anything to the new folder yet; just start a new save and see how it runs.
If the game is still "glitchy and laggy," please describe what you mean.
If the game is fine, try copying one of your saves to the new folder, but nothing else yet. Since it's a copy, you don't need to worry about your missing mods and custom content. Just see how it works.
If that save runs badly, or you can't load it at all, try manually restoring one of its backups. Here's how:
