Child won't sleep in the same bed as grandparent

Question

I noticed this today after I had installed Adventure Awaits EP. Unfortunately I think I didn't test sleeping in the same bed with this particular child and grandmother before, but I know in the past I had a child sim live with her grandmother and they slept in the same bed without any problem.

I play on PC without mods or cc. I tried deleting the bed and buying new one, moving the night stand and making sure anything wasn't blocking them and making sure they are caregiver and care dependent. Their relationship is also almost maximised. When I try to make them sleep in the same bed the one who isn't sleeping yet complains about it with a thought bubble that has the picture of the sim that is already sleeping in the bed.

So I wonder is this a new bug or feature? I think child should be able to sleep in a same bed with their grandparent. I wonder is this because they are a grandmother and a boy. The child that I played before like this was a girl who lived with her grandmother.

there's several known bugs with sleeping but to be sure, you have a high relationship between the Sims ?

Ah, I just realised this is probably because she is his great grandparent and they don't have a grandmother and grandkid relationship showing in their profile at all! It's such a pity.

Yes they have maximum green bar. They don't have great grandmother and great grandchild relationship though, so I think maybe that's why they refuse to sleep in the same bed.&nbsp; Hmm although I wonder does it matter since they are still caregiver and care dependent. I wonder should caregiver and care dependent be able to use the same bed at the same time.
