I have the same issue since update. Dishes, laundry won't be dragged anywhere inside an object: trashcan, fridge, washing machine/tub. Even the dumpster! I have to teleport my Sim in a closed room with the dumpster to be able to dumpster dive :( I can still drag items to my Sim's inventory though.
God they need to fix all of this like immediately...
