I'm having the same issue! It makes it so much worse right now because my sims just had a baby, I would always just drag the diapers and bottles to the trashcans that you can get money from when you put garbage in them (I forgot what they are called lol) to help my sims out with money and to make it go faster for them with clean up. Seriously why does something always have to brake with a new update? Who doesn't run all the codes through this game to make sure everything is working properly before every update?
I just aged up all my kids because it was that annoying and its still annoying. Because of course they don't autonomously clean, so they just sit there and complain about the dishes they made until i manually click on each individual dish to clean. Sometimes twice because they cant do anything to completion on their own..
