Could you please provide the following information
- Are you using mods/cc in your game ? Please remove them and test without them if you do.
- What platform are you playing ?
- Was the logo a loading screen or could you give some more details what happened there ?
- Does your game also crash to the desktop ?

Hello Crinrict, apologies for my delay in responding.
- Mods/CC were not enabled at the time of the issue occurring.
- I was playing TS4 via Steam on a dedicated gaming laptop.
- The logo was simply 'The Sims 4' with the usual blue/diamond-looking background, there was no loading.
- My game did not crash to the desktop, despite multiple attempts to close the game after the freeze.
I hope the above helps, I do wish I recorded it, but unfortunately I didn't. Do let me know if there is any further information you require.

Was this a one time thing that happened ? Was a loading screen needed to go home ?

Hey crinrict,
Many apologies for my delay in responding. Somehow I haven't been getting email notifications for when my threads are replied to. Attached is my laptop's DxDiag, if it's still of any help to ascertain why I experienced the galloping lag that progressed to a freeze, and then a frozen Sims 4 intro scene title.
