Sims 3 Crashes When Loading A Save
Recently my game has been crashing when I try to load up my save. I thought it was my mods folder that was causing the issue. However, when I removed the mods folder then tried loading that save it would get stuck on the loading screen for over 30 mins. Another weird thing that I noticed is when I'd open the sims 3 launcher it'd say that I'm playing with no expansions or stuff packs. Then when I'd close it and reopen it my expansions and stuff packs would be loaded. I'm not sure what's going on with my game. Pls HELP!
Multiple Season 5 bugs
The new season is phenomenal in my opinion, but as with each new season, there are new bugs. Here are the ones I have encountered. All occured on PS5. I can not progress past page 4 of the DLCS crew bounties. The bounty "Complete Goals in Market Mile Own the Lot Challenges" is not working for me. I did both OTLs in Market Mile, getting 4 goals complete on each and neither triggered the bounty completion. I have been getting a lot of long black screens loading into challenges. Not soft locks, but sometimes there is a 30-ish second black screen when starting a challenge. I believe this has to do with many challenges now having Slappy or Izzy replace Vee for the mission start/end dialogue. Slappies (the trick, not the man) are not working properly for me. Since last season, about 50% of the time I attempt a slappy it tries to put me into a lipslide or boardslide, instead of a 50-50. This happens in both Regular and Goofy, and both facing towards and away from the curb. Placing any kind of QDO is iffy currently. Most of the time I can place one just fine but placing a second, or duplicating the first one causes the new one to be stuck in place, transparent, and unplacable. I have been getting infinite loading screens from returning to marker far more than usual, which is especially annoying in an OTL. On top of that I have been having much longer load times when reseting to marker when far away. It sucks to reset to marker in an OTL and have to sit there for 10 seconds before it finally loads. This might not be a bug, but I feel like I have been falling off my board a lot more when attempting to flick a trick out of a grind. Again, especially annoying in an OTL. Sometimes some Block Party HUD elements become hidden while participating. This has only happened to me once. The player list on the left as well as the timer became hidden, with only the objective showing. It didn't affect anything gameplay wise and went back to normal the next round. Attatchments are of the DLCS crew bounty and the issue I have with slappies.
EA please add a real offline option to EA APP!
Please EA I beg of you add a real offline setting! I miss being able to play games offline without internet! You make amazing games and I have bought many of them over the years ever since Origin! For the good of the world and players around it please add it! Thanks and keep making good games!
Feature Challenges not counting towards certain Crew Bounties
Platform: Xbox What MIssion/Challenge? Various Crew Bounties If Mission, what step in the Mission? "Complete Goals in [x] Challenges" Username you're playing with (Gamertag, PSN ID, or EA ID - no emails. We'll assume it's the account you're posting with as well.): Icky1carus It seems that Featured Challenges do not register as completed for the purpose of Crew Bounties, like the DLC's Tier 4 Own The Lot bounty. As both OTLs in Market Mile are currently Featured, neither will progress the Tier 4 bounty and it is softlocked until the next Featured Challenge rotation. Other "Complete Goals..." bounties in Crew Bounties do not register a completion for other Featured Challenges (like the Overboard challenge in Gullcrest) as well. Attached are a completed Rolling Waves OTL, which was completed after the associated Tier 4 DLC Crew Bounty was unlocked (it was not previously completed).
Needs Fixing ASAP! Where’s the Dem Bonez Upgrade Pack?
Bought the basic Dem Bonez pack last season, now wanted to buy the upgrade pack for basic to deluxe. But only option is to spend the full £40,00 for the deluxe pack… Needs fixing ASAP… Edit: There are posts that were posted after this one, but they are getting “investigated” yet this hasn’t even been looked at? What is up with the mods?
