Using controller on PC switching to keyboard mappings constantly
I've been played Veilguard on PC for about 40 hours using a XSX controller (connected via Bluetooth). Throughout my experience, it will randomly switch to displaying keyboard mappings, limiting my abilities and messing up my controls. A quick fix for this has been to pause the game and save, in which it will flip back to the correct controller mappings. This was already annoying and frustrating, but since the most recent patch it seems to be exponentially worse and I'm experiencing this issue within 5 minutes of starting up the game. After doing the quick fix, it will happen again within another 5 minutes. Unfortunately, I've reach the point of frustration enough times during larger battles in which I cannot save the game and have no way to get my controls back that I am no longer interested in putting up with this until it's fixed. I've tried all of the "fixes" I've seen mentioned in other bug discussions (disconnecting all accessories i.e. mouse / keyboard, trying different controllers, wiring in my controller, disabling steam input and vice versa). Is anyone else experiencing this and found a proper fix? And has anyone else noticed it become increasingly worse with Patches 3 & 4? I really, really am enjoying my playthrough of this game and don't want to stop playing because of such a frustrating situation.
EA App on PC, Sign in to activate the game "Why?"
Why am I suddenly getting this 1. I did not play the game on EA Play or EA Play Pro subscriptions 2. I cannot resize or get to the password box 3. The last time it appeared, I clicked on the X and closed it, and the game would play and run after restarting the EA App on the PC. I do not get bonus content pop up any more so no Deluxe and Pre-order content appearing, possibly connected If anyone has an answer, I would love to know how to prevent this from occurring Regards Iain
DS Rey endless no damage attack in Conquest
Hi there, I have now used up 200 crystals on forfeits from this issue. When you use the data disc that gives you use of the R9 DS rey - as soon as she attacks, is summoned or given jedi training from hoda, she keeps attacking. The attacks never do any damage they also never stop and the cpu opp doesn't take any damage and only gets stronger. I've now forfeited 12 times on the Cena Juna boss node on Hard, I'm stuck on 27 points, can't move forward and can't remove the data disc. Even if I attempt to not use DS rey she eventually gets into the attack and then once she starts, she won't stop. I let it go three times and she attacked for 5 mins nonstop (the event is 10mins). I'd like to understand if this is a bug and how I can go about progressing, by either somehow being shown how to remove the data disc that activates her (I don't believe you can) and get a refund for the crystals wasted on energy.
Can't progress past Blood of Arlathan "Defend the Area"
I need help because I've experienced a game breaking bug that refuses to allow me to progress any further into the game. I arrived at the gate where I fought the first wave of venatori and my other companions are trying to open the gate. However, when I get the tag line to "Defend the Area" against incoming venatori, the second wave never spawns and I've been trying to fix this for four days now. I've tried absolutely everything that I've seen others do online: I've lowered the graphics, put into window mode, restarted the quest from the very beginning and even went further back, restarted from auto save, changed up the order of going to the gate to the scaffolding, waited out the fight for as long as possible, etc, etc. Please, any useful advice on what to do, I was really enjoying this game and I've never experienced a bug like this before.
Rey (Dark Side Vision) infinite loop in Conquest
I used the Preview: Rey (Dark Side Vision) tech consumable to use the preview of Rey (Dark Side Vision) in Conquest. And she attacks in an infinite loop, wasting the entire 10 minutes I have for the battle. I cannot remove the tech, and cannot avoid using her basic (or first special, which also sometimes triggers the infinite loop). I started a ticket in game with help, but it's been 3 days and they just keep asking me more questions, with 4 hour delays between responses. I've lost at least 7 battles at 20 energy each due to this bug, and days of being able to progress and purchase conquest energy refreshes. I'm specifically using her in the Cere mini-boss battle in Sector 1 of hard mode conquest. I am not targeting enemies with a damage immunity buff. I'm a 4.1M account and this is my first hard mode conquest. I cannot kill the team before Rey locks up the battle.
