Promote Discord for Solo Queue Players
I took some time to visit the Apex Discord Server and its actually a great solution for solo queue players to use. Each time players log into Apex there should be a Discord screen on the "News Tab" encouraging players, especially solo queue players, to join the Discord server. For example: Need a Squad to battle with in the Outlands join our Apex Legends Discord Server!!! There could be a "info link" and "Inbox" message stating all the benefits of joining the Discord server, especially for players like me who are ignorant to 3rd party services. Discord is available across all platforms (I'm not sure about Nintendo). There should be constant marketing campaigns between Apex and Discord across the board; in-game, forums, LAN events, etc.10Views1like3CommentsNew apex character !
Hi apex creators . My name is Michael and I would love to make new apex characters with you guys. Picture this .... The screen crackles with static. A battlefield fades into view—smoke, chaos, gunfire. A lone figure stands in the center, calm, unmoving. Narrator (low, tense): When the fight closes in… when hope slips away… when your squad is seconds from elimination… A purple shockwave erupts. A downed teammate is yanked across the battlefield in a blur, landing safely behind cover. Narrator: One legend bends the battlefield to his will. CUT TO TITLE: MONO — THE GRAVITY BREAKER Quick cuts: teammates being pulled out of ambushes, snatched mid‑air from a dropship, saved from certain death. Narrator: His tactical ability? A telekinetic lifeline—recharging every thirty seconds. No distance too far. No danger too great. If you fall… MONO brings you home. The music drops. A deep rumble builds. Narrator: But when enemies close in… when the circle tightens… when survival demands space— MONO slams his hands outward. A violent shockwave blasts enemies back, scattering them like debris. Narrator: His ultimate unleashes a reverse telekinetic force, pushing every threat within twenty feet away… and nullifying their abilities for three precious seconds. Slow‑motion shot: teammates healing, reviving, reloading as enemies struggle to recover. Narrator: Three seconds to breathe. Three seconds to fight. Three seconds to turn the tide. CUT TO BLACK. MONO Pull your squad to safety. Push your enemies to fear. Imagine a character that could get you and your teammates out of sticky situations, much like Wraith but even quicker. Introducing MONO, a character who uses his telekinetic power to pull teammates to you wherever you are. This could work very effectively in situations when a teammate has wandered too far away from the group and has been downed. Even better, when a teammate is being respawned from the dropship and enemy teams are waiting below to ambush, you could use the ability to pull your teammate out of harm’s way and still have a fighting chance. The tactical ability could refill every 30 seconds. The ultimate would be the exact opposite for opposing players. It would send a reverse telekinetic force to push all enemies in direct contact within a 20‑foot radius back a few steps and would also nullify their abilities for 3 seconds, giving players a little time to heal and maybe get that res you’re so desperately in need of.ZzirGrizzx3 hours agoNewcomer3Views0likes0CommentsMatchmaking time in duos and trios
Due to the disastrous Wildcard event, I've been playing exclusively in pubs for the past few days. Duo matchmaking times are TERRIBLE. Trio matchmaking times aren't much better. In the mornings and evenings, my matchmaking averages 5-10 minutes. I use a tracker, and practically half the lobby is always the same people. This can't continue in the long run... Do something about SBMM to shorten the matchmaking time. Oh my God, it's just pubs. This isn't the ALGS. Why are you doing this and harming the game?SolvedvVv_Bjoergen_vVv7 hours agoSeasoned Ace88Views0likes8CommentsIn-game Role Icon/Letter
Players should be able to select the role they prefer in the main menu and have it displayed by their gamer tag using either a small icon/letter. For example: "L" for In-game Leader "F" for Fragger "A" for Anchor When I mic up I usually ask my squadmates "who wants to be the IGL?" Most times they respond by saying "it doesn't matter" or "we'll follow you", but when the match starts everybody does their own thing. Stratgeic confusion sets in, especially since most solo queue players are accustomed to primarily "skirmishing" in team fights instead of "holding hands". If players are able to select their role and have it visible pre-match this could help with settling in-game debates about who's predominantly leading, fragging, or anchoring. This could help players understand their squadmates thought process and playstyle, especially when no mics are being used. For example: If my squadmate has an "L" icon it let's me know that they want to be followed, choose the fights, play a specific way, etc. If my sqaudmate has an "F" icon it let's me know that they want to initiate team fights, need more assistance with rebounding if they're knocked, pushing fights aggressively after an enemy is knocked, etc. If my squadmate has an "A" icon it let's me know that they want to help the team rebound, control space, be the third wheel, etc. This setup wouldn't be a magic wand for better team play, it's just a simple information tool. Obviously, players could all have the same icon, at times, when loading into a match. For example, most players will probably select to be the IGL. Although, more information regarding your squadmates thought process is better than no information at all. I usually play Wattson or Crypto. These legends have Anchor roles. Although, any legend can be whatever role the player wants them to be depending on playstyle. Naturally I prefer to be the IGL, but I play Anchor mostly when solo queuing in Ranked. Most times when I play with a stack they allow me to IGL, because I'm really good at it.9Views1like0CommentsOG Rev Return
Bringing back Revenant's original abilities, however you want to do that, would be amazing for the game. I don't care if I lose out on stats, or if I fully have to restart from zero for him. Just bring back silences the way they were, bring back Death Totem, and let me stop these skirmishers the way I should, by telling em to Shut Up. Bring back OG Rev. A few ways it can be done: 1) Make two chars: Rev Reborn and Rev. Rev Reborn keeps ur current stats and Rev would get new ones, share all cosmetics between em and start making new cosmetics which differentiate em more. 2) Make a new char, as per a previous idea of mine, which uses Rev's old abilities. This alleviates the cosmetic, statistic, and overlap issues and makes it so we have those abilities back regardless. 3) Make a toggle for Rev which switches between Rev Reborn abilities and Rev abilities. This toggle would allow you to go between em while in the lobby 4) Make perks which allow u to unlock each of the individual abilities. A blue perk which switches ur pounce out for silence, and a purple which switches ur armor for totem. 5) Some other option If u want to hear more ideas like these let me know, thanks for your consideration.MathMatt615 hours agoRising Novice17Views0likes1CommentHonest Feedback for Apex in 2026
To start, I've been playing this game since the first month of its release, and I have seen a lot of good and bad changes over the years. I'm someone who had put in over 6k hours in on the EA App alone, obtained a few Heirlooms, had bought a few event items, and even bought the Battle Pass more than once, so its not like I'm fairly new to the game, (while many players here on the forums have seen me reply to numerous threads, doing what I can to either help them, forward bugs and issues to EA/Respawn, etc., and fewer have known me long before I became a Hero on the forums). Speaking of being a Hero, I am not writing this as a Hero, rather I am writing this as a normal Apex player who wants to see the game thrive: #1 Matchmaking & Servers Whatever matchmaking Apex uses, (be it skill based, engagement based, both, etc.), it clearly has room for improvements as the matches are fairly unbalanced where you would have several weaker teams VS top-level teams. I know this as I've been playing Ranked since Season 2, where the highest rank I've achieved outside of Season 17's broken system, (where I got Masters), was Diamond, and that was during the current season, (Season 29), which brings me to what I've observed: The system allows for players to hop onto new accounts to stomp lower lobbies and even for higher ranked players to drop too far down into lower lobbies to farm kills and damage Often times when trying to play the game smart, you would get teammates who treat Ranked like its pubs, (and in pubs, these randoms would leave as soon as they are knocked) The enemy team you fight against, (no matter the mode), are somehow way better than your team, (requiring most players to carry the whole team if they wish to win) and many more issues that would take a lot of time to get into, (like how Solo Q Diamonds to Preds are all still on the same team in Plat matches) As for the servers, I'm not sure if the game needs better servers or if the game needs to run on a newer game engine, but something should be done about the lag, desync issues, etc. #2 Aim Assist & Input No matter what side you are on, (be it for Aim Assist or against, (which I'm not going to go into a discussion about that here)), the issue is players using 3rd party devices to take advantage of the Aim Assist. While Respawn has been cracking down on these devices, there is a lot to be desired as I'm still seeing players clearly abusing Titans, Zens, etc., and its a problem as it ruins the game's integrity, so it is important for the game's health to have things like this sorted out. As for the input, I think it would be better for the game to have lobbies where those on Keyboard and Mouse are in different lobbies than those on Controller unless otherwise opted in by each individual player to go up against whoever using whatever input. #3 Cheaters & Bans For this part, I won't be talking about any "false bans" as that's a whole other thing, but I will talk about the cheating issue and how bans seem to be handled. First off, when a player is found to be cheating, they aren't always taken out of the game right away, instead they are allowed to keep playing while being added to a ban wave which would wipe them out alongside a bunch of other cheaters at once. The problem with doing ban waves like that is that cheaters are allowed to cheat on multiple accounts for several hours, days, and sometimes even weeks before they are banned, and that right there ruins the game for everyone else, (which when playing Ranked, legit players are not compensated for losing matches to a cheater). This system should instead start filtering those cheating into their own lobbies where it is then cheaters going up against other cheaters until a ban wave is issued, (which playing with a cheater is cheating as well). Filtering the cheaters into their own lobbies would help strengthen the integrity of each and every match as there wouldn't be as many of them ruining the game for other players as more are taken out of public view, and the cheaters wouldn't be so quick to hop on to new accounts as they would think that they are in the clear when they are not. #4 Smurfs While Respawn allows players to play on multiple accounts, Respawn should at least consider raising the level requirements to enter Ranked as I've been seeing plenty of low level players in higher ranked lobbies. Most games, (such as Valorant), defines smurfing as being on a new account to go up against lower skilled players, which is exactly what happens when players are allowed to play on multiple accounts, and this in turn causes issues in ranked where cheaters are able to quickly return to ranked on new accounts as well. #5 Ranked Everyone has their own opinion on ranked, and as for mine, I feel like the matchmaking could be better and a higher level account should be a requirement, (as mentioned above). Besides that, I don't have a whole lot to say about ranked as most of the ideas I've thought of wouldn't work out well anyways. #6 Badges and Stats This one is simple: Rework badges to give back meaning, (like how having the 20 kills and 4k damage badges use to mean you were good at the game) Separate badges and stats between the game modes, (such as no longer allowing Wildcard to impact Battle Royal badges and stats) #7 Firing Range For this one, it would be easier to refer to an older thread I've posted since there is a lot written there as well: Firing Range QOLs | EA Forums Although parts of that thread is most likely outdated by now, (oh well). #8 Legends, Weapons & Loot Balancing Many players like to move fast, deal damage, get kills, but the movement and stun skills are out of control, legends are given scan abilities when they cannot move quickly or stop a player in their tracks, (or they are reworked in a way that doesn't fit their kit), and the weapons are either too strong, or lacking in power. To be clear, I am saying that Axel is overpowered, Seer is too much, and that other legends like Crypto and Rampart are left in the dust, while the weapon meta is spotty at best. As for loot, I think it would be better if the weapons all level up like the EVO Armor, which would remove the need to find attachments and only require players to find ammo, heals, AMPs, and explosives, while knockdown shields and backpacks can also be leveled up in the same way, (although that would mean that Loba's Golden Backpack perk would need to be reworked). In short, less looting and more playing the game. #9 Listening to Community Feedback I cannot stress this point enough, but EA/Respawn, listen to the players playing your game. If they leave, it only causes problems later down the line. The solution to this involves: Improving the matchmaking Smoothing out tensions between inputs Removing and keeping cheaters out of matches Not allowing players to ruin ranked matches on alt accounts Improving ranked, (which yes, I do know about the ranked overhaul as it is on the Apex Roadmap) Making achievements mean something again Improving game modes and provide better gameplay balancing, (which includes adding new LTMs outside of Wildcard variations, and being less focus on selling cosmetics during events) Being more transparent with changes, updates, etc. and even allow players to voice their opinions by voting on future changes, (even if the voting is just for buffs and nerfs) #10 Allow for Playtesting As far as I'm aware of, playtesting the next update of Apex is limited, although it would be beneficial for Apex to allow for more players to test updates to help provide feedback, suggestions, and to get bugs fixed before the update's release. Thanks for Reading! I'm sure there is a lot more to write, but this is all that I can think of for now.375Views4likes21CommentsThis is a warning

Keep Apex as a BR. Bring down pace a bit to fav team buildup/comm/ strategies vs shoot-them up. The pace puts off a number of players to go back to apex (cannot bring back friends who played the first 4 seasons) It is inevitable that Bloodhound will be buffed based on encounter win rate and pick rate. But before you do, realise the last update for bloodhound was already BUFF. This means a number of OP characters need to be brought to balance. As he is, bloodhound is at the level he was buffed a couple of seasons ago (and considered OP). This means many other characters got overly buffed since. The out of balance is exacerbated by the following. OP perks nobody asked which is almost a cheat red highlights of enemies for recon and others after upgrade. I would understand bloodhound to have it but not others 50 shield regen for skirmishers - totally unnecessary (like if they are not OP already) pls dont introduce nonsense perks like dash and double jumps or the like to more characters revives at box is too easy/ fast ( should only be available if eg found a yellow knock down shield or equivalent) too easy to get purple armor + no need helmet anymore autoshield regen other than watson remove overflow healer OP characters who needs treatment (priority list) Axle pad which can moves the entire team Axle drone with too much HP and no conter Seer stunning on scan Gibraltar speed (now faster than octane) rebalance gunfight vs character abilities Almost impossible to get away without being scanned by Seer or Bloodhound every one min in final circles (ults should be restricted in final circles to maximise strategy vs luck) impossible to finish a fight without an Axle team or octane team or a pathfinder team third party (time to 3rd party too fast now)IamFrogBoss2 days agoRising Rookie75Views3likes4CommentsBALANCE
The current state of Apex Legends features several mechanics, legend traits, and environmental factors that severely disrupt the competitive integrity and skill-gap of the game. This proposal outlines a targeted, highly requested set of adjustments to bring weapons back into a healthy Time-to-Kill (TTK) window, strip oppressive utility from Support characters, and rework problematic Legends into healthy, active archetypes.1. Weapon Pool Balancing & Loot EconomyThe reliance on modifying existing weapon structures with automated attributes has led to a highly distorted and compressed weapon meta. The following adjustments aim to reward mechanical gun-skill and accuracy over raw baseline numbers.Alternator SMG (Stat Nerf):Adjustment: Decrease base body shot damage from 19 down to 15 or 16.Rationale: At 19 damage per shot, a bare Alternator behaves like an Assault Rifle with near-zero recoil management. The current tuning allows players to hipfire or straight-line strafe while comfortably out-damaging high-recoil, precision weapons like a perfectly tracked Flatline spray.RE-45 Pistol (Firing Behavior Rework):Adjustment: Retain its category status utilizing Energy Ammo, but completely remove the automatic burst-lock firing pattern and spin-up behavior. Revert the weapon to its classic, fully automatic chassis.Rationale: The burst-lock and wind-up delay have entirely destroyed its identity as a fast, responsive close-quarters sidearm. Restoring full-auto gives the energy category a unique pocket-shredder option.Elite Hemlok (Utility Nerf):Adjustment: Remove or aggressively retune the fully automatic modifier.Rationale: Forcing a traditionally burst-fire rifle into an automatic mid-range laser overrides standard combat spacing and completely marginalizes other options in the mid-range rifle tier.Content Strategy Recommendation:Cease the practice of applying permanent, identity-altering modifiers to old floor weapons and labeling them as seasonal updates. The sandbox desperately requires the introduction of entirely new, organic weapon chassis to keep loot pools feeling distinct.2. Legend Kit Overhauls & Class RealignmentA. Gibraltar: Assault Class ReworkGibraltar’s identity as an unkillable defensive "bullet sponge" relies heavily on static, unpushable bunker gameplay. He should be transitioned into an active vanguard.Hitbox & Model Redesign: Slim down his physical model to a standard character skeleton and strip his bulky gear. This allows developers to completely remove the Fortified passive trait from his profile so he takes identical baseline damage to all other Legends.Class Migration: Move Gibraltar from Support to the Assault Class, losing all banner-crafting and fast-revive support benefits while gaining extra ammo carry limits and access to Red Weapon Bins.New Passive ("Lead from the Front"): The first bullet fired from a fresh magazine deals scaled, increased damage to enemy shields (resets on a brief internal cooldown). This turns him into a high-impact combat initiator.New Tactical Shield: Replace the indestructible Dome of Protection with a forward-facing, deployable particle wall. Friendly squads can shoot through this wall to anchor a point or push a room, but enemy fire is blocked.Ultimate Adjustments: Grant his mortar bombardment two total ability charges, but completely remove the heavy movement stun/vision distortion effect from the blast radius. Completely delete the tier upgrade that provides three smaller, condensed strikes to reduce absolute screen and map clutter.B. Valkyrie: Tactical Power ScalingAdjustment: Completely remove the heavy movement slow/stun effect from her Missile Swarm tactical. Delete the Tier 1 Full Coverage upgrade from her level-up grid (reverting her back from the 4x5 missile grid to her baseline 4x3 pattern and removing the -5s cooldown buff).Rationale: Full Coverage blankets entire indoor rooms with uncounterable carpet-bomb explosions right at the start of a match. Removing the stun and the grid upgrade restores her tactical to a skillful, directional zoning tool for chip damage rather than an indoor death sentence.C. Axle: Momentum OptimizationAdjustment: Add an enemy punishment modifier to her Nitro Gate tactical: if any opponent who is not on Axle's team passes through the gate, they are subjected to an uncontrollable, high-speed sliding penalty that strips their lateral steering and camera tracking. Increase her Kickstarter deployment animation speed and execution range, but reduce the object's deployable health to a fragile 25 HP.Rationale: These adjustments protect Axle from blind pursuit teams hijacking her mobility, while keeping her signature movement tools rewarding yet highly fragile (glass-cannon balance).D. Mirage: Visual & Tactical CounterplayPassive Revive Nerf: Completely remove his passive cloak feature when initiating a teammate revive. He must pull off revives fully visible like other Legends.Ultimate Rework: Implement hard decoy physics collision so his ultimate clones cannot tightly cluster together or clip/phase through each other's models. Introduce a brief visual delay to his post-cloak cloning burst, and cause the entire cluster to briefly flicker or fade in opacity whenever a fake decoy takes bullet damage to cut down panic-button visual clutter.3. Global System & Map Geometry UpdatesSupport Revive Economy (Nerf):Adjustment: Keep the global 25% revive speed bonus for the Support Class, but completely abolish the passive health regeneration state applied upon standing up.Rationale: The auto-heal on rez allows a revived player to hold down a 5-second Shield Battery while their white health automatically fills to 100% in safety. Forcing players to stand up completely vulnerable and manually choose between cell/battery shielding or health kits prevents the frustrating "cockroach loop" of unkillable, instant-reset squads.Storm Point Terrain Collision Cleanup:Adjustment: Conduct a comprehensive sweep of the flat, vertical bounding boxes applied to small environmental clutter (fallen jungle logs, small decorative rocks, riverbed roots).Rationale: High-velocity momentum kits (such as Axle's Nitro Gate) frequently hit microscopic ground terrain and have their entire slide speed instantly canceled or aggressively bounced backward. Smoothing out these physics meshes ensures high-tier movement remains fluid and rewarding.19Views0likes1CommentRanked dive trail
I believe from season 2 to season 17 the dive trail should be permanent to account as the new set of ranked rewards figures a badge a banner and a charm while previously the trail was the reward for achieving a rank. it changes to not pollute the drop off system although the trail are being sold afterwards with mythical skin. I believe this is so non ethical from respawn and need to reward back people who lost their reward. a simple fix would add back up the drive trail that people got in those seasons and any season that had a dive trail. please review and respond. I've been playing this game for 30 seasons soon and don’t want to feel like I’m being robbed of something I’ve earned.DEADSHOT69312 days agoSeasoned Newcomer4Views0likes0CommentsAdvanced Private Match Customization System
Hello Respawn Team, I have a suggestion that I believe could greatly improve the competitive and training experience in Apex Legends: an advanced customization system for Private Matches. This system could include: Full control over available weapons. Enable/disable specific weapons and attachments. Custom armor and equipment settings. Adjustable match settings such as ring timing and match duration. Enable/disable specific Legends. More options to create custom training scenarios and community game modes. This would help competitive players, tournament organizers, content creators, and casual players by allowing better practice, custom events, and new ways to enjoy the game. To protect the identity of official Apex Legends matches, I also suggest adding a visible “Private Match” or “Custom Match” watermark throughout the game. This would prevent custom matches from being mistaken for normal public matches and reduce misuse of edited clips or screenshots. I believe this feature would increase player engagement, improve the competitive environment, and give the community more reasons to continue playing Apex Legends. Thank you for your time and consideration. Draken1974Views0likes0CommentsIncrease the favorite skins slot amount
Currently there are 8 favorite skin slots you can equip skins to on a legend. It's not a game breaking issue but more of a quality of life thing. Only having 8 slots to equip skins is not enough. Because there are constant skins coming out for each legend, by only having 8 slots it almost makes me not want to purchase new skins because i don't want to take other skins i like out of the rotation, it take the value away from past skins I've purchased. But, if we had unlimited or even double the amount of slots for favorite skins i wouldn't hesitate to purchase skins for my favorite legend.navacr232 days agoSeasoned Novice197Views5likes8Commentsanticheet false positive

I think I'm not the only one saying this but please bring back rev the way he was. His old skill would be way more useful nowadays. It's not about an escape situation if you have a legend that can shut enemies and let them play with their weapons. It would make squads not able to rush most of the times "Oh but you have seer, yeah but rev didn't need a rework, like nobody asked for it. Seer is useless in so many ways, the only good thing about him is that he silences enemies. Guess what that used to belong to revenant This rework was nice but he's so useless now, he's ult is weak as hell and most of the legends can catch his jump.diogomira182 days agoNew Rookie7Views0likes0Comments[Wraith Suggestion] Dynamic Ultimate Cooldown based on distance energy left
Hello everyone, I have a balance suggestion for Wraith's Ultimate (Dimensional Rift). Currently, whether you place a maximum length portal or a micro-portal of just a few meters, you consume 100% of the ultimate charge and have to wait the full cooldown duration. The Idea: Implement a proportional energy refund system. If you open the portal and only use 50% of the available distance energy, the remaining 50% should be kept in your ultimate meter once the portal is placed. Your next ultimate recharge would start from 50% instead of 0%. Why this would be healthy for the game: * It rewards quick tactical thinking for short-distance repositioning or saving downed teammates. * It adds a high-skill expression layer, managing ultimate energy dynamically. * It makes Wraith feel more fluid and useful in close-quarter skirmishes without changing her core identity. What do you think about this change? Would it be balanced?10Views0likes0CommentsHeirloom idea for conduit also conduit ult rework
Heirloom idea either Energy tekko kagi fused into her suit powered by it the blades would be made of energy and would be blue or green blue would prob work better it could build more into her lore and could show how she got into the games as to my knowledge it doesnt really show much except i think it stated she fought in local arenas using her suit idk if it says if she uses melee or guns but i think it would be cool to show the wepon she used and it could lean into her being a fan more with some inspect animations The ult rework I feel like conduits ult doesnt really fit her its just sheild jammers that cover a small area it also doesnt really fit the way the game is going as the game gets faster i feel like her ult becomes less useful it doesnt do alot of damage you can just 1 mag it or just go over it I feel like a way to bring her ult more into the style of the game would be to overcharge her battery in a small area giving temp bonus sheilds to team mates in the area only lasting for a short time like 30 seconds but in exchange conduit cant use her tactical in that time or its weakend You would also have to change her blue sheild upgrades this could either be run towards teammates faster or longer time with the ult or a shorter cooldown I think this would fit more into the way the game is going right now instead of just sheild jammers i think this would be a good change to the game please let me know what you thinkGreedyboy553 days agoRising Newcomer15Views0likes0Comments
