Uninstalling Apex
Just uninstalled apex for the first time since literally 2019 because of how unplayable it is. This game needs major player based changes and match making changes. The player base is smurf central and sweat central when it comes to match making. This game isnt curated for the casual gamer what so ever and has quiet frankly never been curated for us. Years ago they only took advice from pro players and streamers on what changes to make to the game and what not. Now look at the state of the game bottom of the twitch viewer board and probably at their lowest player rating since release. This game is dying and I don't care that it is. They do nothing for us as casual players besides put us in pred lobbies just for the pred teams to get more kills and increase their stats. Or for us to just be another number in these low level smurf accounts that are farming badges and stats for people to buy on the gamer market. They really need to address these problems. Fix matchmaking, ban smurf accounts based on their ip address so that individual can no longer play, and change the lobbies its ridiculous. Forever thankful ive spent like 20 dollars on this gmae in the last 5 years. Others i fear have not and I feel bad for them because what a waste fo money that was.
Game crashes when I join friends/accept friend invites.
Hey everyone, never had this issue since earlier this week. Everytime I accept an invite from a friend, the game would freeze and crash. Same thing would happen if I use the join feature. I've tried to verify files and uninstall then install again. It works fine when I queue solo. Any fixes?Weekly and Daily XP Challenges not Progressing
I have most of the weekly challenges completed, however the ones that I have left do not progress whatsoever. One of them is getting 15k damage with ARs. This challenge never progresses in any game mode, and other weekly challenges are like that as well. The Daily XP challenge that rewards battle pass stars is also not progressing at all. Basically I’m stuck at level 44 in the BP now and I’m gonna miss out on the rest of the rewards.A few ideas regarding recon legends
Just throwing out some ideas regarding recon legends just in case they stick: Bloodhound Given how irrelevant it has been for years what I would like to see is something along the lines of infinite tracking / scan. I would make passive not only to indicate closest squad location (yet make it less cumbersome where you have to split from your squad / go to some weird map places to find the bird) but when on the spot reveal footsteps that has been there like at any time not just X time ago. When tracking fill up scan meter and closer Bloodhound gets to enemies via tracking the faster scan refills making it almost always available so that during fights Bloodhound can have like infinite wallhack. Maybe some debuf can be added like short stun or sound loss after a scan making it sort of Octane like = use but at cost / possible risk. Crypto I would add option to use Ult (drone) as scan interference = you as Crypto get notification during someone is scanning beacon in which rage you are to make a fast decision to use Ult ability to block the scan or keep for regular Ult. Possible options - Crypto blocks only himself = scan reveals say 2 teammtes but not him, potentially leading to enemy push and surprise that you are actually full team. Or even play with an option where your whole team if within X range (not split too much) get like a stealth shield from Crypto drone blocking incoming scan. Survey beacons / Ring consoles I actually would make them perishable. In recent seasons in ranked it seems that those are used like "by the way" along the way and there is no clear intention to actually go after either intentionally. Making them temporary imo would make game more fun and make people fight for it not just wait say for one team to scan console just to stealth your way to it moments later and gain same info / advantage. Possible option - allow controller / recon legends to sabotage beacons, consoles instead = say option appears if you want to scan them and gain info or sabotage to provide 1 time wrong info to the next squad using them. Imo it would be cool mechanics that you not only need to use your brain but also keep in mind teams around these and possibility of info provided being incorrect. p.s. none of the above matters more than cleaning game of hackers and fixing matchmaking for Masters/Preds to fight vs each other not vs Gold/Plat players. That is TOP 1 and 2 priorities to allow the game not to die as recon legends are useless in high tier lobbies as everyone wallhacks / radars in them anyway.Feather canon?!
Why do the shotguns suck so much this season[excluding the Mozambique]? It's like I'm shooting feathers at the enemy! The projectiles go so slow compared to everything else(except the Kraber, that's a piece of junk in my hands, only 12 kills in my entire 2000+ hours playing), even when I lead my shots! I only end up with glancing hits, with like 8 - 30 damage every other shot, wth they used to be deadly! on par with smg's, now there the "p2020" before akimbo to me! Just can't use them anymore, and I play this casually on a daily basis. I feel like I'm only gonna hit them is if there standing still, but let be real, everyone has either played TitanFall or some other shooters and is a "movement god". I won't even pick them if I'm surrounded by other people, there too unreliable now.What is this matchmaking???
My friend and I are a duo literally haven't played in years and for some reason all we ever play against is triple stack former preds/master players when we are literally in plat and gold lobbies. Why are there such high ranked players in such low lobbies? the game is non-enjoyable and unplayable at times. Please fixing the match making, i literally along with probably thousands of people who would spend money on the game will quit once again.Allow account transfers between console/pc
I was just reading a post on here about a guy who recently lost all his progress on his account and switched systems. That is terrible and they should have a transfer fee (1 time only) make it around 30-50$ enough to make money but not enough where people won't purchase it. Apex is assuming you will rebuy things and the thing is people do. But imagine you played apex for 2-3+ years and now you have nothing.
Interesting rework idea for gibbys bubble
When gibby activates his tac, He puts his bubble energy source on his back and it makes a bubble sphere around him and it moves with him when he does so. And it deactivates when gibbys down. Gibby can still put down his dome by removing the source from his back and putting it on ground. Simple but very efficient for multiple reasons: This will give gibby a great power when fighting up close because he can control where his bubbles at and the enemy wont use it for their advantage by moving in and out because the bubble position will be entirely controlled by gibby as mentioned above. No more using the bubble to cover the enemies after defeating gibby. This will buff his ultimate as well. Gibby would be able to throw his ult on his enemies in the open. Activates his bubble and push with his teammates covered in it. Now the enemy is forced into two rough options, Either they wont enter gibbys bubble and they will then suffer heavy damage from his ult. Or they will be forced to enter gibbys bubble and will have to fight him in the distance he is the most efficient at. Not to mention that they can be outplayed by smart gibbys who keeps putting his enemies in and out his bubble. Also, Maybe a small ult recharge time reduction will go along the way too. Please share your thoughts im eager to hear them :)
