Excessive Timeout Injuries
When in tight game situations, usually when I have momentum, the CPU will “injury timeout” so that the CPU does not have to use a timeout. 6 injury timeout were called when 1:45 was left in the 4th quarter up 3 points. It also happens in the 2nd quarter same situation. This definitely needs addressed as that does not happen in college football. Dear EA Sports Team, I hope you’re well. I’m reaching out as a dedicated fan who is excited for the return of college football gaming with College Football 26. Thank you for your hard work in bringing this series back. I would like to request that your team consider adding online co-op on the same team in Dynasty and Franchise modes in a future update or future titles. Specifically, my friends and I, along with many others in the community, would love the ability to: Play together in Online Dynasty on the same team against CPU opponents while each controlling our own player, from our own consoles. For example, my friend would be the quarterback, I would be the wide receiver, and another friend would be the running back, allowing us to each create our own players, put ourselves on the same college team, and play alongside each other while building our program together over multiple seasons.3Views0likes0CommentsPlay Now option No hurry up offense by AI
In every close game at the end of the game the clock will run down to 25 seconds before the AI runs a play regardless of situation. It doesnt matter whether accelerated clock is turned on or off. AI will call timeouts but wont run hurry up offense or spike the ball to save time. 4 different games AI team was trailing by a field goal and just let the game clock run out while they were in the huddle and in field goal range.. No urgency they just let the clock run to a certain point before running the play. Very frustrating to watch a close game end like that time after time. Summary: I'd like to start off by saying i love the video game in itself and the gameplay changes. Faulty at times, however overall it's a better gameplay, with that said i notice a few key elements and thought i'd point them out. In Dynasty Mode, after multiple dominant seasons—including national championship wins—team prestige decreases, brand exposure randomly drops during the season, and playing style logic does not reflect on-field performance. These issues are reproducible and break the core loop of building a successful program. Platform: PS5 Mode: Solo Offline Dynasty Rosters: Default Active Roster Difficulty: Heisman Teams tested: Indiana, Baylor, South Carolina Starting Prestige: 3.5 stars Season 1 Results (Across All 3 Dynasties): 13-0 or 13-1 season Conference Championship Winner National Championship Appearance or Win Heisman Winner Multiple National Games of the Week Top 10 Recruiting Class What Happened: Team prestige dropped from 3.5 stars to 3.0 stars after season 1 Brand Exposure stayed at C (in one case increased to C+, but most stayed flat or dropped) Program Tradition remained unchanged Playing Style drops despite stat lines supporting the intended style (e.g. pass-heavy, run-heavy, etc.) Additional Issues: Brand Exposure Drops Midseason: After defeating top-10 ranked opponents on national TV, brand exposure sometimes randomly decreases. This directly affects recruiting—recruits will flag brand exposure as a dealbreaker even when your program is clearly performing at a high level. Playing Style Bugged (Roster and Recruits): Even after several dominant games consistent with a specific offensive or defensive identity, the Playing Style grade remains low and will not rise. This breaks alignment with recruits who are supposed to “match” your system and possibly affects progression/morale. Steps to Reproduce: Start a solo Dynasty with Indiana, Baylor, or South Carolina (3.5-star prestige) Play a full season: win 13+ games, conference championship, national championship or appearance Win Heisman, land top recruiting class Advance to Year 2 preseason Prestige drops to 3.0 stars Brand Exposure unchanged or drops Program Tradition does not increase Playing Style drops without logic Why This Matters: Prestige, brand exposure, and tradition are core to Dynasty progression. These bugs result in being punished for winning, losing out on key recruits, and having no long-term feedback loop to measure your program’s growth. In multi-user dynasties, it creates unfair gaps between users. In solo dynasties, it breaks immersion and realism. Questions for EA Devs: Is team prestige progression hardcoded or bugged in Year 1? Why is brand exposure dropping midseason despite high-profile wins? Is playing style currently functioning as intended, or is the logic broken? Questions for the Community: Have you seen prestige drop after winning a title? Is brand exposure decreasing during your seasons? Has your playing style rating dropped despite matching it in games? Experiencing crashing in game, usually within the first quarter. The same error code listed above pops up, with a few suggestions, & nothing works. Every dynasty I’ve started, now seem to be corrupt, & unplayable. No other issues with my system, or other games, & unsure of other game modes. Only occurred during Dynasty game mode. All the dynasty’s have experienced the same issue within the first 4 weeks into the start of season (2), & may be tied to editing ur coach(not sure but 2 crashed immediately after an edit). Once it happens, you can not play another game without it happening again, try to sim past, a week, a month, the season, same thing, crashes soon as you start another game. So seemingly that build is lost.. nothing has helped, & at a complete loss. Hands tied, & cant even try playing the game at this point. All suggested fixes tried: -restart system in safe mode, clearing cache, & rebuilding database. -delete game, data, saved files, & reinstall. -check all system updates (nothing new) -reset system, software, & reinstall EVERYTHING. So im in year 3 of my Ball St. Dynasty. On Heisman default settings haven't adjusted anything and I am at the National Championship game but the previous 3 games have been majorly bugged for wear and tear. My starting QB and starting RB are not injured not on the injury list but they start the game in the red on wear and tear and then are subbed out by half not to return until the next game. Is this a CFB playoff bug because I didn't notice it in our regular bowl game last year but it basically breaks the game unless I just play with backups.10Views0likes0CommentsSlow Sim does not auto progress after a penalty
Instead of automatically going to the next play, the super sim slow mode will just show a close up of a player's face indefinitely until you hit the X button (PS5). If you don't hit X it will just stay there forever, but the play clock for the next play will run, and this results in a delay of game.5Views0likes0CommentsTexas runs a 4-2-5 defense!
Last year in CFP it was Texas‘s offense that was wrong. This year in the CFP and Dynasty it’s their defense. You have Sark running a 4-2-5 as his defensive scheme but not correctly reflected in game. Last years game ( CF25 ) was doing the exact same thing CF26 is doing. It would crash to the dashboard every game. CF25 was fixed for me with a update. Probably around 2 weeks after it came out I think. It has never crashed again, I can start CF25 up right now and play for hours and hours and will not crash one time. WHATEVER WAS DONE TO CF25 LAST YEARS NEEDS TO BE DONE TO CF26 THIS YEAR. You fixed the same problem last year. What is taking so long to do it this year. This is crazy. Fix the crashing. Do what you all did last year, can't be that much different. i'm on xbox x series. I'm NOT playing online. Its happening in single player games. No other game I own crashes to the dashboard. None. not only is it crashing in dynasty but now also RTG which makes it completely unplayable. I have never seen a game so bad to where I cannot even load into an offline rtg game without it crashing. Yet we have 0 idea when it will be fixed. I will never pay for an EA game again if this is the new standard. There are many player archetypes that have potential abilities not actually attainable because players are unable to unlock higher ratings. Some are very blaring like a possession receiver being unable to upgrade catching in traffic. Please fix this ASAP. I have a list of effected types. WR: Gritty Possession - Cannot acquire Outside Shield due to no RB Finesse, Second Level due to Impact Blocking, or Sure Hands due to Catch in Traffic Gadget - Cannot acquire Dot due to no deep accuracy (or any accuracy actually) upgrade Physical Route Runner - Cannot acquire Sure hands due to no Catch in Traffic, 50/50 due to no Spec Catch. Curiously the same archetype at Tight End can acquire all abilities TE: Pure Blocker - Cannot acquire Second Level due to no Impact Blocking Gritty Possession - Cannot acquire Outside Shield due to no RB Finesse OL: Raw Strength - Can technically* progress all abilities but attribute upgrade cost is SIGNIFICANTLY higher than any other OL archetype “Pure Power” - Cannot acquire Pocket Disruptor due to no Finesse Moves Edge Setter - Cannot acquire Workhorse due to no Toughness Power Rusher - Cannot acquire Workhorse due to no Toughness DT: Pure Power - Cannot acquire Pocket Disruptor due to no Finesse Moves Power Rusher- Cannot acquire Workhorse due to no Toughness LB: Signal Caller - Cannot acquire Workhorse due to no Toughness S: Box Specialist - Cannot acquire Workhorse due to no Toughness7Views0likes0CommentsPlayers Dealbreakers Changing
I have noticed that a lot of players dealbreakers change to playing time when they are actually on the roster. The worst part about this is that it’s usually freshman, who actually played. I had a freshman whose dealbreaker was Brand Exposure. He started every game for me and was the freshman QB of a 16-0 National Champion the entire season. His dealbreaker suddenly changed to playing time and is graded at a C+, despite playing every game. I have attached his stats to prove that as well. I’ve had this issue for a few days now. On my dynasty, I like to recruit and do all the other off the field stuff, and watch the games with slow super sim. Before the game, when the marching band plays, it gets stuck on the marching band sometimes, and I can’t press any buttons to get past it. I can see the band marching but it doesn’t stop. I have to shut the entire console down for it to reset. This has happened multiple times. There’s also been 2 different occasions where the same thing has happened. Before an extra point the game got stuck, and I could not press any buttons to get it unfrozen. I could see the fans moving, but it wouldn’t unfreeze until I shut down the console and had to play the game again. And this has happened before OT too. After the coin toss I could see the players wandering around , but it went on forever and there was nothing I could do about it. Please fix this EA, I’m begging you.
