Forum Navigation - browsing posts issue
When browsing the list of posts and then reading one, afterwards either using back button or forum breadcrumbs, I’m always returned to the top of the list rather than where I was in the list that means I have to scroll back down every time to where i was - very tedious Doesn’t or can’t the forum track where I punched into a post? or is there some setting I’m missingNeil_RS6024 hours agoNew Veteran23Views0likes1CommentThis new forum UI sucks

Today I received an email about a 'new badge' which was sent to my old email address. * My email address was changed over a year ago. * Both my forum profile and EA account show the updated email address. * I cannot find anywhere else on the EA support site or this forum to raise a support request to fix this issue. Can forum admin please help? Thanks in advance.SolvedXHX-Hydra-XHX24 hours agoSeasoned Novice44Views0likes3CommentsWhy Am I Not Being Notified About Things On The EA Forums?
I am following the Info Hub, General Discussion, Feedback categories. I am following the Announcement and Patch Notes tags. Everything is turned on and set to Immediately or Daily Digest in my Follows & Notifications account settings. I'm not being notified via Email about Announcement/Patch Notes posts, replies to my threads, replies to my comments, etc.Summon4 days agoNew Scout385Views4likes17CommentsAbout ea forums
This isn’t about the EA app but with EA forums is a seasoned rookie or a seasoned novice better? I’m asking because I could’ve sworn I was a seasoned rookie and then if went to seasoned novice but then I got a notification about 10 mins ago saying that I had ranked up to a seasoned rookie. If it is worse then I’m pretty sure it’s cos I had a rant on the general discussions page about the new f1 game.Solvedshazzalady136 days agoSeasoned Traveler36Views0likes1CommentQuestion about badges transferring from AnswersHQ to EA Forums
Are there still badges earned on AnswersHQ being transferred to the EA Forums profile? I'm missing a 'Sims 4 Life and Death' badge which I earned on AnswersHQ in my EA Forums profile. It has not transferred to my EA Forums profile, while other badges have.SolvedSharpGoblin7 days agoLegend39Views0likes3CommentsNew Sims Forum Feedback
Hi! This is for the team at EA who are hopefully picking up on feedback and looking to constantly improve these new forums. What I’d like to stress, and ask for from all us lovely Simmers, is that this isn’t a place for being overly negative, aggressive or angry towards the team or specific staff. I’ve seen quite a few reactions that are just that and if we want to improve things, while we don’t have to be overly positive either, we need to be constructive at least. Having been a member of the original Sims forums and the newer rendition in recent years, I think it’s fair to say what keeps the forums running is the sense of community. So a few things I think that would help this would be: customisation for profiles - avatars, signatures, adding social media links or blogs/websites so we can find each other elsewhere. Paying specific attention to each rendition of the game, the Sims 3 community is massive and has been around a lot longer. So please consider us when making changes! I can see the sims 4 forum/threads already have plenty more tags and options than ours do as well as sub forums that we haven’t been able to keep. We have a whole community of storytellers that benefitted from the stories and legacies subforum and whether the game is 15 years old or not it deserves to live on. Changes to the formatting of threads and replies. I’ve noticed it is already hiding multiple replies under a “show more” filter which limits conversation. Also nesting replies is confusing, the original board style was much easier to navigate and chat on, which is what these forums are all about. As already highlighted, changing the automatic filtering by likes to newest would make it feel more relevant and conversational as a quick fix in the mean time. I personally miss being able to bookmark threads, especially since the sims 3 forums have lost our sub forums and all the migrated ones are in the franchise discussion (please rectify this!). I can’t navigate to what I want to read and am losing track of what I’ve chatted on unless I get notified. Could we also have a list of the rankings just out of interest? I have no idea what a traveler is but apparently I am one 😂 As always, super grateful to the team for taking feedback on board and looking forward to improvements and developments as they come! Happy Simming! LizzieLizzielilyy8 days agoSeasoned Ace1.9KViews24likes111CommentsCan we delete comments if you created the post?
i can understand if it's from someone elses post you can't delete comments because it's unnecessary (that should be up to who created the post) i'm not easily the one who wants to get rid of the comments but there are times i rather want some comments to get deleted like when you made a mistake...especially if you solved or edited it from your mistakes (it depends of course, i don't want to delete each comments just because of your mistakes, it's only when someone starts a argument or like try to cause troubles) now i have to report it to ask others (who owned the site) if the comments can get deleted if you made the post but is it possible if you own the post you can delete the comments? it's what it is if the answer is no so i'll accept it but it could be usefull so you won't have to report it if you own the post (it could spare your reports you may be getting the whole days aswell too) i bet i can also speak the same for the others who wants this as a option to make it clear: i can delete my own comment if i created the post but i can't delete comments from othersSolvedsailorleontine9 days agoSeasoned Ace74Views0likes5CommentsWhere to ask forum questions

Coming from someone who just learned that mistake and try to redeem myself But isn't it possible to merge the idea into 1 topic? I'm very active in The Sims 4 topics (mostly the feedback ones) I noticed we at times get the same results, some ideas very similair than others and it can get misleading at times based on the topics Certain pack ideas are more popular than others I'm mainly saying this to keep things organized and again i just learned from that mistake since some of my ideas are the same like the older posts So is it possible to merge the same idea into 1 topic now that i explained my idea? (even if i have to report it manually) I don't know how something like that works in other games, just saying maybe if we share the same ideas in the descriptions maybe it can be merged into 1 topicSolvedsailorleontine17 days agoSeasoned Ace51Views0likes3Commentsdisable commment suggestion?
i don't know where to start but it's more of like as a feedback (i keep it neutral) i know some topics used to be disabled which is now enabled since the huge change on this site isn't it usefull to do a check-up and if necessary do a double-check to see if it needs to be disabled on an outdated post🤨? i keep mixing things up from times to times each time the comments are enabled which are from a few years old😶 (coming from someone who learned from that mistake and got a first warning) i bet other people get things mixed up if the topic is from a few years old (especially if it's outdated) can you consider doing a check-up from topics which is from a few years old? i don't wanna sound too negative, i just have a difficult time wording things correctly (i hope you get what i mean though?) you guys are doing a good job, taking care of a report, comes with a fix and closing the comment but it's always good to check topics that are from a few years old so we won't mix things up again👍 and if certain things aren't there yet you can always comment we should create new post similair to certain ideas so we won't do necro post again which are from a few years old see it as a feedback👍 update: i especially ask this which is issues game related post which is outdated ("technical issues", "gameplay issues" "bug reports" etc)Solvedsailorleontine20 days agoSeasoned Ace61Views0likes3CommentsUnable to Edit Replies on this Forum
I created a reply to a post, and when I click the three dots, the option to edit my reply is not available. This is the case with my reply to my discussion as well as someone else's discussion. Is this a new feature, or did something break? Anyone ever encountered this message? I was just on this discussion thread a matter of hours ago and now I’m denied access. Is this a glitch or is EA literally trying to silence dissent? I posted to the thread but said nothing that might violate any standards, so it’s pretty weird that I suddenly can’t access it. On a related note, there was thread criticizing game lag and contesting EA assertions that it was all due to user-side internet connection that was unceremoniously closed down by the moderator over the weekend and so it certainly appears as though EA isn’t beneath trying to silence critics (even after it created these forums as the place for users to air their questions, concerns and criticisms). EA, if you’re listening, it’s not a good look when you not only don’t respond (with action) to fait critiques, but actively quash opinions that you don’t like.1440666fd7e443ec22 days agoSeasoned Hotshot128Views0likes6Comments
