Is there any chance of having polls again?
Thank you for giving us our avatars back! It makes such a difference! Now there's one more thing it would be really great to have back: polls! They were always incredibly popular on the old Sims forums and we'd love to have that functionality again. Is there any chance of being able to have them?
I like the custom avatars
I'm enjoying the new custom avatars! Thank you for adding them to EA Forums. Instructions on how to upload a custom avatar. Introducing custom avatars. | EA Forums - 12048417 I also like that my custom avatar isn't blurry. All the non Apex Legends avatars are blurry, so I'm glad custom avatars aren't blurry.
Should be clearer which discussion sections are hidden from public or not
It would be nice to see example some kind of symbol and/or clear indication it's closed discussion section. In regards to playtesting and feedback it would help avoid accidentally leaking details to the public. Also maybe some people would be afraid to post considering they are unsure if its public or closed discussion section. Unsure and don't remember how it was with AHQ but maybe it was clearer there somehow.
Can you just make the page load in one go instead of endless scroll mode?
Why do i have to scroll to load all the comments? Just load all the comments. Why do I have to click "Show More" to see more comments? Do you think I'm going to read the first 6 and then be done, nothing more to see here? Of course not. Do you understand the bare basic purposes of a Forum and how it's meant to work? This new forum rework is atrocious across the board but this is consistently annoying. Of course I want to show more.
FAO Forum Mods - Knock It Off.
Forum Mods, or Admins. Please ask whom ever is in charge of these very silly NEW forum layouts to knock it off with the ridiculous "Show More" tabs. When you go into a thread you see a some comments, but then you have to scroll down and constantly click on the "Show More" text to load a few more responses, then do the same thing all over again to see more replies. It takes ages to get to the last reply to a thread, and it is really annoying. Why is there no page counter number so you can just go to the last page straight away? What clown thought this was a good idea?
Headlines should open a new tab in Bugs
It would be really helpful if clicking on a Headline in the Bug Forums opened that topic in a new tab. I can do this myself, but if I forget I have to navigate back to where I was when reading through the forum. This is because the back action takes me to the top of the forum page. If I've been scrolling through topics for a while this can be frustrating. Thanks.My avatar keeps disappearing
I’m still having problems with my avatar not staying with what I’ve chosen. Sometimes when I return to the forum I’m a black silhouette again, and sometimes I’m some random character. I chose the avatar I currently have out of the extremely limited options available (I don’t even know what characters these are) as I have only four or five rows of options to choose from. As a Sims player, I want Sims options, but no Sims avatar options appear for me at all. I had a similar issue a while back and it got fixed, but it didn’t last very long. What is the problem here?

I would like to express my complete ignorance side for a hot min.... WHY CANT I REPLY TO POSTS WITH IMAGES? when replying asking for a image to help show what i was experiencing in a game, IT TOOK 4 HOURS for me to successfully respond, i used a imgur link and that wouldnt reply, i tried to shorten the URL that wouldnt allow it to reply... i ended up saying "will this reply work" when it sent i was able to edit and update with what i was originally trying to send, the old forums was wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy better with image handling it should not of taken 4 hours to allow me to send a reply with a imgur link my suggestion to improve this, whitelist imgur links? or dont auto convert links to images?
"Solved" indicator in topic list lacks contrast
The "Solved" indicator UI element next to topics with a solution is lacking contrast: Makes it hard to read and also not stand out as much as it should in that list. And technically speaking it's not passing the accessibility requirements for contrast...[Bug] Cannot comment on knowledge articles
As a good citizen of the EA Forums I am reading the EA Forums Tutorials & Rules knowledge base articles. Each of them end with prompts to leave a comment e.g. But clicking on both the "Comment" element as well as the "Be the first to comment" prompt below does nothing for me. I guess you've locked down commenting permissions on these nodes, but then these widgets should not show.
