Staying logged in
I'm on PC, using Chrome, every time I come to the forums I have to sign in, as soon as I close the tab I am logged out, I may come back times a day or night, why can I not simply stay logged in ? The only way for me to actually stay logged in so i don't have to keep signing in is the leave a tab open all day & night.

by the tittle i don't mean the actual gameplay, i mean sure the game itself needs its feedbacks too (i bet everyone else do too) i meant the feedback about this link Categorie: The Sims 4 | EA Forums We have: -The Sims 4 Creative corner -The Sims 4 Feedback -The Sims 4 General discussion Then we have categories that's issues related: -The Sims 4 Technical issues (Consoles, Mac & PC) -The Sims 4 Gameplay Questions & issues -The Sims 4 Mods & Custom Content -The Sims 4 Bug Reports but we used to had the category in which you could share your ideas about the pack you have in mind "creative idea" or something? (can't remember the exact name) i feel like feedback is more like if you want the game to become better either for basegame or the already existing packs and the ideas you have in mind that don't exist yet deserves to have its own category i know it may take ages to move probably half of the topic ideas there but i think it should be possible if we all report the topics together to place it to the category which don't exist yet tittle for the category: "Creative ideas" or "Sims 4 ideas" so we can share our ideas there instead (actual feedbacks and our ideas about the packs/basegame update get so mixed up, that may be confussing especially for newcomers) with other words: The Sims > The Sims 4 > Creative ideas/Sims 4 ideas (just a thought) we can seperate things more this way if feedbacks stays as an actual feedback that already exist in The Sims 4 either for basegame or the already existing packs...who's with me? edit: maybe even better: creating a pack idea archive category similair to this one once it's out The Sims 4 Bug Reports - Archive | EA Forums (but instead of bugs it's the pack ideas category archive) i bet even some of the ideas about certain things are in the "General Discussion" category too that can be merged with the already existing topic (not just the Feedback ones, the pack ideas is all over the place in both Feedbacks and in the General Discussion categories...i bet changing the website have something to do with it, it got all mixed up in both the "Feedback" and the "General Discussion" categories) so make it "create 2 new categories" except you can call it "The Sims 4 (Pack) Ideas Archive/History" (i just came up with it) with that idea added it should go like this: The Sims > The Sims 4 > The Sims 4 (Pack) Ideas Archive/History we can keep things in order even better this way we can place it in the "The Sims 4 (Pack) Ideas Archive/History" or rather the team once the pack is taken care of or rather once the pack is out (i know we can't place them in that new category i have in mind but the teams can for sure...we can report it if it isn't taken care of) with other words: 1 category based on our ideas about the packs and the other some kind of a archive pack ideas the team can place it there once the pack is taken care of The Sims > The Sims 4 > Creative ideas/Sims 4 ideas (like the name have suggested it's based on pack or basegame ideas) The Sims > The Sims 4 > The Sims 4 (pack) ideas Archive/History (like the tittle have said, it's pack ideas that's already out that can be in "The Sims 4 (Pack) ideas Archive/History" we used to share our ideas with) (i hope the team consider this adding 2 more categories in The Sims 4 category)
Is there a way to change my username to the one I used on the forums?
Maybe I am blind but as far as I can tell I can't change my username. However, I always used a different one on TS forums and I'd like to use that same one here too. Is there a way to change it or to offer us a means to pick a display name?
Feedback & Questions About EA Forums UI, Notifications, and Navigation
First of all, thanks for launching the new EA Forums platform. I appreciate the effort to modernize the design and improve the overall experience. After spending some time using the forum, I wanted to share a bit of feedback and also ask a few questions regarding forum functionality. What I like so far: - Clean and modern UI - Faster loading compared to the old forums - Clear separation between game categories and community hubs Areas where I’m a bit confused or struggling: - Notifications sometimes feel delayed or unclear (not always sure what triggered them) - It’s a bit hard to track threads I’ve previously commented on - Search results don’t always surface the most relevant discussions - Navigating back to a specific category takes more clicks than expected Questions: 1. Are there plans to improve notification filtering or customization? 2. Will there be better tools to follow or bookmark discussions more easily? 3. Is the search functionality still being optimized? 4. Are user profile features (post history, activity tracking) planned to be expanded? Overall, the forum has a lot of potential, and I’m looking forward to seeing how it evolves. I’d also love to hear feedback from other users — what’s working well for you, and what could be improved? System needs an Update
So, you can’t actually tell if you’ve been banned or just temporarily suspended from the forum. They send the email to your inbox - which you can’t see because you’re banned. I beg, let there be a way to monitor your status or inbox. It’s no use seeing it after the fact. I’m worried even this much might have it happen again.
No page loads, just "Internal Server Error"
Since this morning, anytime I try to visit anything anywhere in these forums normally, I only get a blank page with "Internal Server Error." (It worked fine yesterday, which is the first day I accessed the new forums.) Searching for the problem turns up at least one other person with the problem (thread 1, thread 2), and it seemed to happen when they had some kind of anti-tracking protection enabled. For me, I don't use AVG, but it seems to be related to some extension I have installed, since I can open these pages in an Incognito window (where most extensions are disabled). However, it's not AdBlock or Ghostery, since the forums still won't load with them disabled, and no other extension should be related in any way. I have Do Not Track enabled in Chrome, but that should apply regardless. This is absolutely egregious. There should be nothing I can do on my end that causes EA's site to throw a server error like this. And it certainly shouldn't still be happening months after it was first reported. The issue is happening for me in Chrome v130.0.6723.92 on Windows 11. (No issues on my phone in Chrome for Android v130.0.6723.74 on Android 13.) UPDATE: It's not an extension but something Chrome must otherwise be handling differently between regular and Incognito windows. I fully disabled every single extension from the extension management settings, and still all EA Forums pages only load as "Internal Server Error" in non-Incognito windows.
