Black boots
When I start a career mode all the players seem to have black boots on and not there original boots they wear when going into a game. Tried clearing cache tried editing manually and they just keep staying to the ea black boots when entering a game. Not sure if anyone else having the same issue.[Bug] Unable to Renew Contracts with Any Player in Career Mode
Hello, I would like to report a critical bug I encountered in EA FC 26 Career Mode (Manager). Issue: I am unable to renew the contract of any player in my club, no matter how many times I try. Details: The issue occurs both when starting a brand-new career and when continuing into later seasons (e.g., 5th year). After some time, players end up leaving the club for very low transfer fees, even if I don’t accept it. This completely breaks the career experience. I recorded a video as an example and attached it here. Platform: PlayStation 5 Game Version: Launch version (the game was just released today) Expected Behavior: I should be able to renew contracts with players in my squad and keep them unless I decide otherwise. Actual Behavior: The game does not allow me to renew contracts at all with any player in the squad, and after some time, players leave for cheap transfer fees without my approval. It’s very clear that this hasn’t been properly tested. Even if this is presented as a “new feature,” it makes no sense that all 32 players in the squad would refuse to renew their contracts. That’s completely unrealistic and ruins the career mode experience. This issue makes Career Mode frustrating. Please fix this as soon as possible, otherwise buying early access feels pointless. Pro Clubs Players Deserve Better Customization – Boots, Hairstyles, and More Dear EA Team, I’m writing this on behalf of the Pro Clubs community who have been dealing with the same frustrations year after year. At this point, players feel ignored, and it’s time this mode gets the respect it deserves. Boots Issue For years now, Career Mode and Create-a-Player have always received the full selection of real-life boots and live updates, while Pro Clubs gets left behind. In Clubs: New boots that get added elsewhere never appear for us. Some boots that were available at launch are even removed later on. We’re stuck with a handful of generic EA boots that don’t look good or realistic. Clubs is the mode where people spend hundreds of hours building their Virtual Pros. Looks matter. Boots are part of a player’s identity, and it doesn’t make sense that Clubs players get fewer options than every other mode. Ankle Tape Another missing feature is ankle tape. This is a small detail, but it makes a huge difference for realism and immersion. It’s been requested for years, yet it still isn’t available in Clubs. Pro Clubs is all about expressing yourself, so why are we missing something this basic? Club Store vs Real-Life Gear We also want to highlight the Club Store. While there’s lots of content there, most of it is not what players actually want. We don’t care about generic EA-made boots and random designs — we want the real-life boots that already exist in other modes. Put all those authentic boots in Clubs. Let the Club Store be for cosmetics, but boots should never be restricted or replaced with fake designs. Hairstyles and Player Customization The hairstyle catalog in Clubs and Career Mode has basically been the same for five years. Meanwhile, generic players in the game have updated hairstyles that we cannot even select for our Virtual Pros. If the hairstyles are already in the game, why can’t we access them? Pro Clubs is about identity and self-expression, yet players are stuck with outdated, unrealistic hairstyles that nobody wants to use. We need: Access to all hairstyles in the game, including the ones on generic faces. Regular new hairstyle updates, just like you do for boots. Better realism so players can recreate themselves or real footballers accurately. The hairstyles we’ve been given for years are poor quality, unrealistic, and frustrating. The community has been asking for more variety for too long. Evidence in Images The attached images show exactly what we mean: The boots shown with the Lyon kit are Clubs boots. The boots shown with the Man City kits are available in Career Mode, Create-a-Player, and Kick-Off, but not in Clubs. You’ll also see generic faces with hairstyles that players cannot access in Clubs or Career Mode. If these assets already exist in the game, there’s no reason why they can’t be available in Pro Clubs. Final Message – Fix It Now, Not Later This issue has been around since FIFA 22/23. At the very least, Clubs players should have all the same boots, hairstyles, and customization options as Career Mode and Create-a-Player. We should also be able to customize boot colors, just like other gaming franchises allow. Please don’t wait until FC 27 to fix this. This is the start of FC 26, and it’s the perfect time to show Pro Clubs players that you value this community. Add the missing boots, improve hairstyles, bring in ankle tape, and give us the customization we deserve. We know this can be done, and it will only make people play Clubs more. If you make these changes, the community will genuinely appreciate it, and it will prove that EA is listening to the players who have supported this mode for years. Pro Clubs players are frustrated, but we’re also hopeful. Please make these changes now.
FC 26 CAREER MODE PLAYER PLAYER TRANSFER REQUESTS [BUG]
There is an big issue with players requesting for transfers when unhappy. There are no clubs who actually make any bids no matter how long they try to leave the club. You can’t even renew their contracts or do anything with them. Please fix this issue with the next patch update because it ruins the player experience.FC 26 Career Mode Feedback Thread!
First off, i want to state how appreciative we are of you trying to fix this mode, the last few years it has fallen way behind where it should be, but we're finally starting to get back on track. But here are a few Career Mode related issues including things from previous years I've noticed that STILL haven't been addressed, which really need to be in imminent Title Updates.. • STILL no option for Pitch Colour & Pitch Wear inside the Career Mode Gameplay settings, please add this. • Transfer Fees & Wages need MASSIVELY improving, especially for High Potential stars, i shouldn't be able to buy a Young Talent who has a 90 Potential for £5m! It should be 10x that.. • Players with only 12 months remaining say "they're happy with their current contract", this shouldn't be possible, they should either agree to sign an extension or say they're NOT interested in renewing and want a new challenge at the end of this one, so you have the decision to make whether to sell them ASAP or lose them for free the following Summer. • When transfer listing these players who have 12 months remaining and refuse to sign an extension also say "they're confused and surprised, and it if was up to them they'd want to stay", when you transfer list them.. Even though they've refused a new contract extension as they said they're happy!? • Possible Lineup STILL only shows 7 subs for tournaments that can have 9 subs, even though 9 subs ARE named during gameplay (visual bug) • When using Sim/Quick Sim for pre-season friendlies, we get an e-mail telling us to remember to use all our our allotted subs? But we've simmed.. So it's the CPU who should be using all of them! • We need the option of selecting 12 subs for International & Champions League matches, as this is a real life rule • Bring back the Manager Unveiling cut-scene that you have removed! Why have you removed it!? At least make it an option, "cut-scene or contract signing screen". And may i also suggest, stop removing things people like, instead make them optional? I thought you'd learned this with the removal of the pre-match intros.. • Please add the option of being able to search for a player based off their Strong Foot, that way we can look for left footed CBs for example.. • We STILL have no Short Tape option for Wrists in Create/Edit Real Players? Even though we have a Long option? Once added, Short Tape should be the default for 99% of players as they wear this is real life, instead of players currently wearing Sweatbands instead.. This isn't Tennis? • There is STILL a bug of when a player wears coloured wrist tape then he wears the home kit's colour for the away & 3rd kits too which looks ridiculous and is also illegal! Instead it's strangely defaulted to players ONLY in Cold Weather? • STILL no Cold Weather Gear option for players in Create/Edit Real Players, even though Data Reviewers have access to this option? PLEASE add this into the actual game.. • Add the holes in socks that Bellingham wears into the socks options so we can give Created/Edited Players the same socks option? • Please add the Generic stadiums from FUT into Create Your Club in Career Mode • PLEASE add back the old Low Socks option that you have replaced this year, the new ones are more 3/4 length than Short! Add the old ones back and rename the newer ones "3/4" • Please add the option to turn TIFOs On/Off/Big Games Only.. I don't need to see a big TIFO of Diogo Dalot before my cup match against Barrow.. • Secondary Positions STILL take to long to complete! For example, Luke Shaw is a LB, but in-game hes set as a CB and it says it will take 81 WEEKS to assign as a LB? Even though its named as a secondary position? It shouldn't take time AT ALL.. It should ONLY take time for training in NEW positions! • I was playing as Portugal and had 2 friendlies against Qatar within 4 days? You shouldn't be playing the SAME team in the same week.. • The Clean Sheets tab doesn't show GKs with Clean Sheets, but shows outfield players instead. • Unexpected Events - Great idea and i love them, but maybe add an option to specifically choose the frequency of EACH one just like you can for them in the first place? For example, id want an option to turn the option of a player randomly retiring OFF, but turn the chance of seeing a player getting injured in training to HIGH... • Press Conferences are STILL a mess and make absolute zero sense. Why would i humble a player who had a good game!? This would massively lower his moral in real life.. (Consider removing them until you can address them) • STILL no Player Interviews in Player Career like we had in The Journey? • STILL can't request a Transfer or Loan n Player Career? These are basic feature requests.. • When you search for a player their Potential is shown but once you shortlist them you can no longer see it, so you have to search for them again to see it? Which is counter-intuitive as you have already shortlisted them, so should be able to view it there too.. • When viewing your players in Squad Hub the competition name isnt viewable due too being too long to fit into the scrolling bar, thus the bar needs enlarging to fit the whole competition name on view to be able to see it • When viewing the CPU's squad, you can see after only 10-12 games they have played all 3 GKs the same amount of games? GK's don't rotate this much in real life, only when injured or for lesser cup competitions, please make it so the number one GK is played more often for CPU teams.. • Please add the Generic stadiums from FUT into Create Your Club in Career Mode • Please add Tattoos you can apply for the Right Arm, also for the Left Arm, so we can actually create matching Sleeve Tattoos! Why would there be different options for Left/Arm & Right Arm!? • Please add ALL the new hairstyle options that players with Cranium faces have into Create a Player! (I've seen MANY that aren't selectable!?) • Please REMOVE the bright screen flash that occurs during menu transitions! • Please show the Stadium Preview image when selecting your team in Career Mode just like you can see when selecting a Stadium in Kick Off. • I can't see the text during Player Negotiations due to the colours • We need the option to start a New Job at the End of the Season! (So you can finish the current season with your current team, the team you accept a job offer from will place a caretaker manager in charge until you take over) • Loans - Players in real life can't play against parent clubs. They should be unavailable and we should get an e-mail before the game to tell us so we have to make adjustments to our squad just like we do for Injuries/Suspensions.. Same for Loaned out players playing against us too! • Around The Grounds needs to pause on the screen so you can actually view and take a look at other scores/results, currently it flashes up for a few seconds and automatically moves to the next screen too fast so you can't actually look at them, also a Skip button prompt needs adding so you have the choice to view them or not! May i also suggest liaising with your Career Mode community more, especially on X, maybe inviting some of them to Vancouver to playtest for you? In the manager career mode that I started 7 days ago on PlayStation 5, I see a 'no action available' notification in the offers made to the players and I cannot respond to transfer offers. Depending on this situation, transfer requests are automatically rejected after a few days in the game. This issue started three days ago, early in my second season. It's definitely not related to the club's financial situation or the players' contracts. I've tried checking for updates, creating a new save, and continuing the game, but nothing seems to work. At the same time, my scouts started to be unable to find players. Even though their player search filters were set to "all". These appear to be bugs in the game at this stage. Can you help me with this issue?Create/Edit Real Players Mode Needs Open Heart Surgery!
I dont mean this to sound rude, but Create/Edit Real Players has been the same for 10+ years now and its getting rather embarrassing! Were on PS5 consoles in 2025 not PS4 in 2013.. I make a thread on your Official Forums each year on how this mode can be improved that gets ignored EVERY year. But again, here i am with a list i feel can dramatically improve the creation side of the game that i ask for you to PLEASE look at: • Cold Weather Gear: Please add this setting that Data Reviewers get as an option IN GAME! This is needed for so many reasons that i will post below.. • Short Wrist Tape: We have a Long Tape option, but no Short? Short should be the default as that is what 90% of players actually wear yet its missing from the game? Instead, you have players running around wearing Sweatbands, this isn't Tennis! We need LOTS more accessory options, see MLB: The Show, they have an option for Short/Medium/Long Wrist Tape.. • Wrist Tape/Accessories Bug: Regarding Wrist Tape etc, there is STILL a Bug of when if a player wears coloured Wrist Tape then he wears the Home kit's colour for the Away & 3rd kits too which looks ridiculous! We need a 'Same As Kit' Colour option for accessories! • STILL no Undershorts option? Instead it's strangely defaulted to players ONLY in Cold Weather? This is why we need the Cold Weather Gear setting, as you could select Undershorts then choose On/Off/Cold Weather Only) so please make them selectable! • Grip Sock option: 90% of players have been wearing this sock option for YEARS now • Add the holes in socks Sock Type that Bellingham wears in-game into the socks options so we can give Created/Edited Players the same socks option? It's literally in the game.. • Please add Tattoos you can apply for the Right Arm, also for the Left Arm, so we can actually create matching Sleeve Tattoos! Why would there be different options for Left/Arm & Right Arm!? Also add LOTS more Tattoo options, just look at all the ones you had in The Journey that came out 8 years ago!? You literally have the assets.. • Please add ALL the new hairstyle options that players with Cranium faces have into Create a Player! (I've seen MANY that aren't selectable!?) • Ankle Tape: Should only be an On/Off setting only, as by law the colour HAS to match the sock anyway, so im not sure why we have blue ankle tape / red ankle tape etc.. (When set to On it would be the same colour as whatever kit they are playing in, just like Undershirts do) • Undershirt lengths: Please add different lengths for Undershirts such as 3/4 and rolled up • Shorts lengths: Please add Short & Long options for Shorts, the current ones would be Medium.. • Compression Pants: Please add these long Undershorts that players such as Robben/Giggs used to wear in Cold Weather (again a Cold Weather Gear setting needed) the assets are already in-game as they were in VOLTA! • Arm Sleeves: That Pogba etc wear • Potential Stat: This should be editable under Attributes • Composure Stat: This should be editable too, in fact make everything editable! • PlayStyles: These should have their own tab that we can be manually added/removed from players • Please show a players Star Head as his Profile Photo instead of a black silhouette • Bring back Game Face • Cranium: If Game Face can't be used, then let us upload photos so Cranium can make a player likeness for our Created or Generic player • Gloves: Why are they are so basic? Add Adidas, Nike and Club Logo branded ones • Colour Wheel: Add a colour wheel instead of having multiple different colours for each item, there should only be 1 item, for example: Wrist Tape, then you choose the colour.. • Manager Cold Weather Gear: Another reason for needing Cold Weather Gear, as currently in Manager Career you edited attire is automatically overwritten when playing in Cold Weather by coats/jackets that aren't selectable!? • We can only Create a Player with the Burth Year of 2005 so they are automatically 19, this needs changing to 2008 so we can create 16 year olds..No stamina penalty has ruined Clubs Mode
Who in their right mind thought it was a good idea to get rid of cumulative stamina? It's right up there with one of the most awful decisions developers have ever made in any game, ever. Gameplay now reminds me of the schoolyard when I was 11. Everyone now just sprints full speed, non-stop, without penalty. Both halves of gameplay are exactly the same now. Fix this immediately. On a separate note, the archetypes system is awful and clearly aimed at sucking even more money out of us. Despicable. And Another bare minimum effort again this year for basically a patch on an ever ageing engine.
Player Career - Teammates
Really disappointed to see that yet again in player career mode, your own teammates play worse than your opposition. People play career mode as they want an authentic experience playing as a footballer, yet on any difficulty that's a challenge, your teammates are useless meaning you have to literally cover the entire pitch yourself. If you're a defender, you need to be scoring goals or your team will never get past the halfway line. If you're a striker, you need to be pulling off last ditch tackles in your own box. Your teammates don't press, they don't tackle, they can't make or receive passes, you have to do everything. It's been like this for years and it is so frustrating. Your team should be able to still play football without you needing to be involved in every single play.7 subs available for championship clubs
Just like last year, only 7 subs to choose from despite the rule changing two years ago to allow 9 subs. How can you not have implemented this into the game yet? It's only a small detail but it makes a difference to people like me who support championship teams and want to do a career mode. The rule change came into force in 2023..we're not far away from 2026 ridiculous EARooney missing from Icons for Manager career despite being in season 3 pass
Season 3 pass shows Rooney as playable in both player and manager career modes after reaching level 19 of the season pass. BUT!! He is not available for selection ☹️ It shows him as a selling point and as I fell for it and bought the season pass, SURPRISE SURPRISE Rooney is NOT THERE!! Still no fix for Manager Career saves removing Icon/Heroes, still Kickoff saves keep resetting and NOW another new issue. I might quit FC if these things don't get fixed :(Unable to connect to Rush Matches Switch 2
Switch2 users cannot find opponents on rush. This is a major issue as it is a requirement to unlock the transfer market as part of Venturing Out objective. Surely if EA can ban players from the market they can unlock the market for switch2 players as an alternative to this rigid objective. there is entire discord servers of players trying to find matches and aren’t able to connect to another team.Injuries hardly occur
I have turned the sliders up to 99 injury frequency and 90 injury severity. There are only 2 injuries that pop up during the season (not frequently) Broken toe (3 months) Bruised shoulder (5 days) This isn’t new. This was in 24 and 25 as well. Before you start a season you are able to choose if you want certain players to have an injury at the start of the season. When you have a look at what injuries are actually available, there are at least 50- 60 different injures. That’s great to have them within the data base so WHY don’t players get more variation of injuries. Give me some random knocks in training, or pulled hammy, or sprained ankle, or something else. I don’t even care at this point but I’m sick of only getting 2 injuries every season. It makes it pointless to rotate the squad or look for depth in transfer market.Pro Clubs Customisation
My Pro - Goal celebration choice wont save and defaults back to random celebration Bot Customisation - All customisation options aren't available for bots. There's no way to choose what boots they are wearing Stadium customisation - Please add the old stadiums back like Park lane etc! The custom arena is horrendous and it would be nice having the option to have a tifo/ coloured seats etc to match the teamCareermode not playable
I have a major concern about the new Career Mode in EA FC. Since you can no longer extend contracts yourself, but instead players approach you, there's a huge problem: Players with a release fee that you absolutely want to keep are often immediately snapped up after just a few days – and you have no chance to prevent this. You can't extend players who are unhappy and whose contracts are expiring, even if you want to keep them. This way, you lose important players completely unintentionally. You could have simply stuck with the old system, where you still had control over the extension. For anyone who plays realistically and wants to keep their team long-term, this new feature makes Career Mode almost unplayable. Would you be so kind as to forward this issue to EA or address it in one of your videos? I'm sure many players feel the same way. Hi y'all I’ve been playing the Clubs Rush mode for years now and it’s arguably one of the most fun additions to the franchise recently. However, there is a significant feature missing that would greatly improve the community experience: Private Friendly Matches. Currently, if we want to play against our own club members or a specific group of friends in a 5v5 (4v4 + GK) format, we have to rely on "perfect matchmaking" (trying to search at the same exact time), which rarely works and is very frustrating. Why this is needed: In-Club Tournaments: Many clubs have more than 4-5 members active at once. We want to be able to play against each other to practice or run internal competitions. Competitive Scene: For the Pro Clubs competitive community, being able to set up specific matches against rival teams in Rush would open doors for organized leagues and tournaments. Casual Fun: Sometimes we just want to play with other friends in a controlled environment without the pressure of public rank or random matchmaking. Proposed Solution: Add a "Friendly Match" or "Invite Club" option within the Rush menu, similar to how Friendly Matches work in traditional 11v11 Pro Clubs. A simple "Matchroom Code" system would also work perfectly. This feature would significantly increase the longevity of the mode and keep the community engaged for much longer.
