FC 26 CAREER MODE PLAYER PLAYER TRANSFER REQUESTS [BUG]
There is an big issue with players requesting for transfers when unhappy. There are no clubs who actually make any bids no matter how long they try to leave the club. You can’t even renew their contracts or do anything with them. Please fix this issue with the next patch update because it ruins the player experience.
[Bug] Unable to Renew Contracts with Any Player in Career Mode
Hello, I would like to report a critical bug I encountered in EA FC 26 Career Mode (Manager). Issue: I am unable to renew the contract of any player in my club, no matter how many times I try. Details: The issue occurs both when starting a brand-new career and when continuing into later seasons (e.g., 5th year). After some time, players end up leaving the club for very low transfer fees, even if I don’t accept it. This completely breaks the career experience. I recorded a video as an example and attached it here. Platform: PlayStation 5 Game Version: Launch version (the game was just released today) Expected Behavior: I should be able to renew contracts with players in my squad and keep them unless I decide otherwise. Actual Behavior: The game does not allow me to renew contracts at all with any player in the squad, and after some time, players leave for cheap transfer fees without my approval. It’s very clear that this hasn’t been properly tested. Even if this is presented as a “new feature,” it makes no sense that all 32 players in the squad would refuse to renew their contracts. That’s completely unrealistic and ruins the career mode experience. This issue makes Career Mode frustrating. Please fix this as soon as possible, otherwise buying early access feels pointless. I’ve been getting this persistent error on EA Sports FC 26 (PC – Steam version) whenever I try to join or invite a friend: “ealayer_join_party_failed” Here are the details of the issue: Platform: PC (Steam) Both me and my friend are using EA App and we both appear online We are on the same version of the game NAT type is Open We are playing on the same platform (PC) I have already tried the following troubleshooting steps: Restarted EA App and Steam Cleared EA App cache Reinstalled the game and EA App Verified my network and firewall settings Disabled antivirus temporarily Checked that my Steam and EA accounts are properly linked Despite all of this, the issue still persists. Could this be related to an EA Layer / party service issue, or a connection sync problem between EA and Steam accounts? Please let me know if there’s any known fix or additional steps I can try. Hello, I have been playing the manager career mode, FC 26 on my PS5 and I am really enjoying it aside from the fact that I played through an entire season with 26 of my games ending in 0-0 ties. Most of the other games in the season only ended 1-0. If I quick sim this seems to give more realistic scores but I don’t have the option to substitute the players I want. I really enjoy the sim match feature. Please look into this, I really want to continue my season without seeing a 0-0 tie every match. In the manager career mode that I started 7 days ago on PlayStation 5, I see a 'no action available' notification in the offers made to the players and I cannot respond to transfer offers. Depending on this situation, transfer requests are automatically rejected after a few days in the game. This issue started three days ago, early in my second season. It's definitely not related to the club's financial situation or the players' contracts. I've tried checking for updates, creating a new save, and continuing the game, but nothing seems to work. At the same time, my scouts started to be unable to find players. Even though their player search filters were set to "all". These appear to be bugs in the game at this stage. Can you help me with this issue?
"Player Career Mode Feedback: Tasks & Personality System"
🎮 EA Sports FC 26 Feedback – Player Career Mode Task System Issue: In Player Career Mode, the task selection screen does not clearly show which personality trait (Maverick / Heartbeat / Virtuoso) will develop. The color indicators are unclear, so players often choose tasks without knowing their effect. As a result, the personality progression becomes unbalanced, and most of the time the system forces the player into “Maverick” points unintentionally. Requests: Make the personality indicators consistent and clear (e.g., Maverick = red, Heartbeat = blue, Virtuoso = green). Show explicitly on each task which personality trait will be affected. Allow more balanced and player-controlled personality progression. Improve the tasks by reducing repetitive ones and adding more realistic, diverse objectives. Expected Impact: Players can steer their personality development as intended. The system will feel fairer, clearer, and more immersive. Player Career Mode will become a much more satisfying and realistic experience.
Legendary and Ultimate Difficulty are Bugged
Hello, I have been playing FC 26 Career Mode and i found that World Class is 10x Harder than Legendary and Ultimate on Legendary and Ultimate i have won Matches 4:0, 6:1, 5:1 As soon as i turned it back to World Class to test something my matches turned to be 2:1, 1:1, 3:2, 1:0 There is clearly a Difficulty Issue and i wish it can be resolved because i cant enjoy the game i paid Premium Price for
FC 26 Career Mode - not loading saves
I go through the terrible new UI for entering manager career mode, and I navigate carefully to the load save option (instead of it just being like last year on the front page which was way easier to use might I add). Then I go to the save I want to use, and I get stuck on a blank screen where I cannot select anything or exit or anything, I have to close the game down. Please fix this as it is atrocious and completely unacceptable.Injuries hardly occur
I have turned the sliders up to 99 injury frequency and 90 injury severity. There are only 2 injuries that pop up during the season (not frequently) Broken toe (3 months) Bruised shoulder (5 days) This isn’t new. This was in 24 and 25 as well. Before you start a season you are able to choose if you want certain players to have an injury at the start of the season. When you have a look at what injuries are actually available, there are at least 50- 60 different injures. That’s great to have them within the data base so WHY don’t players get more variation of injuries. Give me some random knocks in training, or pulled hammy, or sprained ankle, or something else. I don’t even care at this point but I’m sick of only getting 2 injuries every season. It makes it pointless to rotate the squad or look for depth in transfer market.
Clubs - Does your fit for role affect stats in game?
Just wondering if your match for the role when you ready up in lbby affects your stats in game? For example I am a level 50 Recycler playing CB. If I set tactics to make the CBs as ball playing defender I can get good fit, but If i choose a position with stopper or defender, I get yellow okay fit. Does this actually have any purpose or difference in game? I cannot see it explained anywhere. The coloured dots beside the rating make me think it does lower your stats in game? Same way as playing someone not on full chem in UT does? Anyone who can confirm or know the answer?FC26 Career Mode - Sharpness Bug?
Hello everyone, I'm currently playing the start of my second season and have an issue with player sharpness - it won't go higher than 80! No matter what training plan is selected, while I can achieve 100% fitness, I cannot achieve higher than 80% sharpness. Is anyone else experiencing this issue? Is it a bug from the latest patch? My team won the EPL and FA Cup, so I'm wondering if this is actually a game mechanic (of the team being over confident and/or complacent).Clubs boots, hairstyles , overall customisation
Pro Clubs Players Deserve Better Customization – Boots, Hairstyles, and More Dear EA Team, I’m writing this on behalf of the Pro Clubs community who have been dealing with the same frustrations year after year. At this point, players feel ignored, and it’s time this mode gets the respect it deserves. Boots Issue For years now, Career Mode and Create-a-Player have always received the full selection of real-life boots and live updates, while Pro Clubs gets left behind. In Clubs: New boots that get added elsewhere never appear for us. Some boots that were available at launch are even removed later on. We’re stuck with a handful of generic EA boots that don’t look good or realistic. Clubs is the mode where people spend hundreds of hours building their Virtual Pros. Looks matter. Boots are part of a player’s identity, and it doesn’t make sense that Clubs players get fewer options than every other mode. Ankle Tape Another missing feature is ankle tape. This is a small detail, but it makes a huge difference for realism and immersion. It’s been requested for years, yet it still isn’t available in Clubs. Pro Clubs is all about expressing yourself, so why are we missing something this basic? Club Store vs Real-Life Gear We also want to highlight the Club Store. While there’s lots of content there, most of it is not what players actually want. We don’t care about generic EA-made boots and random designs — we want the real-life boots that already exist in other modes. Put all those authentic boots in Clubs. Let the Club Store be for cosmetics, but boots should never be restricted or replaced with fake designs. Hairstyles and Player Customization The hairstyle catalog in Clubs and Career Mode has basically been the same for five years. Meanwhile, generic players in the game have updated hairstyles that we cannot even select for our Virtual Pros. If the hairstyles are already in the game, why can’t we access them? Pro Clubs is about identity and self-expression, yet players are stuck with outdated, unrealistic hairstyles that nobody wants to use. We need: Access to all hairstyles in the game, including the ones on generic faces. Regular new hairstyle updates, just like you do for boots. Better realism so players can recreate themselves or real footballers accurately. The hairstyles we’ve been given for years are poor quality, unrealistic, and frustrating. The community has been asking for more variety for too long. Evidence in Images The attached images show exactly what we mean: The boots shown with the Lyon kit are Clubs boots. The boots shown with the Man City kits are available in Career Mode, Create-a-Player, and Kick-Off, but not in Clubs. You’ll also see generic faces with hairstyles that players cannot access in Clubs or Career Mode. If these assets already exist in the game, there’s no reason why they can’t be available in Pro Clubs. Final Message – Fix It Now, Not Later This issue has been around since FIFA 22/23. At the very least, Clubs players should have all the same boots, hairstyles, and customization options as Career Mode and Create-a-Player. We should also be able to customize boot colors, just like other gaming franchises allow. Please don’t wait until FC 27 to fix this. This is the start of FC 26, and it’s the perfect time to show Pro Clubs players that you value this community. Add the missing boots, improve hairstyles, bring in ankle tape, and give us the customization we deserve. We know this can be done, and it will only make people play Clubs more. If you make these changes, the community will genuinely appreciate it, and it will prove that EA is listening to the players who have supported this mode for years. Pro Clubs players are frustrated, but we’re also hopeful. Please make these changes now.
Career Mode Live Start Problem
Am I the only one who is trying to start a career mode with "Live Start Points" but cant choose a Premier League team other than Man City and Arsenal? Every other league that is provided allows you to select any team, even the lower divisions in England, but not the Premier League. Very weird. Any solutions?Can't sign players on pre-contract agreements
Does anyone else suffer with this issue? Trying to approach players who's contracts are up for expiry in January. Expect to see the option approach to sign, but no option is available? Just buy or loan? This happened to me in FC2025 too, i don't understand why this option isn't available again. For lower teams with small budgets relying on free transfers is key to bring in any players of real potential or value, thus selling and making profit if a big offer comes in which then can be reinvested in the squad. Just find it really frustrating this issue remains from FC25. Any ideas how to fix this or ways around this issue? I've informed EA but from the looks of it just don't give a **bleep** when it comes to playing in career mode. I only really play it for the career mode, and just seems to get massively neglected now due to Ultimate team. Hope these Saudi's who are meant to be buying EA out sort it out and massively revamp the whole franchise.
Player Career - Match objectives
As with the last few years, really disappointed to see that silly objectives still exist during games such as 'score X goals from outside the box'. I suspect very few players are told by their manager they must score a goal in a game but why does the manager care where the goal comes from? It's not like it counts extra. Objectives like passing accuracy, shot conversion, successful dribbles at least make a bit of sense.No Transfers In Player Career
I started a Rising Star player career, with my player starting in the Argentinian LPF. My idea was to progress to a European club in Portugal (for example) before targeting a big club in one of the top five leagues. I’ve selected a target club, and my agent recommended seven other clubs. After a good season I’ve met the criteria for several of these clubs but at the end of the season there was no option to transfer to these clubs, or negotiate an increase to my wages with my current club (which is what should happen judging from several YouTube videos I’ve watched). This leaves me wondering if it’s a bug, an issue with the LPF specifically or is my players just not good enough yet to secure a move (despite meeting all the criteria). Any help or suggestions would be great! Apologies if this is an obvious issue - I’m coming back to the game after six years so this may have been addressed elsewhere!Avatar pro club save failed
Pro Clubs Avatar Save Failed Error – FC 26 (PlayStation) Hello EA Support Team, I am experiencing an issue in EA SPORTS FC 26 on PlayStation with Pro Clubs. Whenever I try to save any changes to my Pro Clubs player (avatar appearance, name, or edits), I receive the following error message: “PRO_CLUB_AVATAR_SAVE_FAILED_ERROR” I have already tried the following troubleshooting steps: - Restarting the game and console (full shutdown) - Checking internet connection - Logging out and back into my EA account - Making minimal changes and saving - Trying at different times The issue still persists. It appears to be a server-side or account-related issue, as no changes can be saved at all.
