Madden Crashes on Splash Screen
Issue Summary Problem: Madden NFL 25, purchased and launched via Steam, fails to start properly. The EA App briefly opens with a message: "Some Features have been disabled because the EA app Launched from another application", then returns to the EA App home screen. After each failed attempt, verifying game files in Steam always reports 3 files missing, even if reacquired in previous attempts. Steps Taken to Resolve Validated Steam Files: Verified the game files repeatedly, but Steam always reports 3 files missing after each failed launch. Performed Clean Installs: Fully uninstalled and reinstalled both Madden and the EA App. Deleted residual files from the installation directories before reinstalling. Checked Account Linkage: Verified Steam and EA accounts were linked correctly, including unlinking and re-linking them. Granted Permissions: Set Madden and EA App folders to Full Control for the user account. Launched both Madden and the EA App as Administrator. Disabled Overlays and Firewalls: Disabled the EA App overlay and ensured Steam's overlay was off. Added exceptions for the EA App, Madden, and Steam in the Windows Firewall. Adjusted Compatibility: Forced Madden to run in Windows 7/8 Compatibility Mode. Repaired Anti-Cheat: Reinstalled the anti-cheat system (EAAntiCheat.GameServiceLauncher) from the Madden installation folder. Monitored Logs: Observed that Link2EA.exe and EASteamProxy.exe launch momentarily, but Madden fails to stay running. Environment Details Platform: Windows 10 Purchased Through: Steam Error Behavior: EA App shows "Some Features have been disabled because the EA app Launched from another application" Then fails to load game. Additional Notes Attempts to launch Madden directly from the EA App result in similar behavior. The issue appears related to how Madden communicates with the EA App when launched via Steam, potentially involving file integrity or anti-cheat. ^^^ This is my best guess after the last day or so of troubleshooting with friends, ChatGPT and EA support.

Hey Madden fans, A Title Update is available today for Madden NFL 25! This update is focused on key gameplay fixes and player feedback. Today's Title Update features the following: Addressed the issue with Smart Routed Custom Stems resulting in a Speed Boost off the line at the snap Tuning to decrease the effectiveness of a specific QB-rollout speed boost exploit Addressed an issue preventing the Curl Flat zone depth coach adjustment from working properly when set at less than 15 yards Addressed an issue causing Curl Flat defenders to continue to drift away from an eligible receiving threat in close proximity Addressed an issue causing outside Deep Third defenders to get out of position when covering corner routes, or giving up too much cushion vs. corner routes. GAMEPLAY New Passing Mechanic: As part of our planned post-launch updates, we are on track to add the Revamped Passing mechanic that debuted in College Football 25 in an early title update. Custom Route Stems: While we’re excited to give players the control and creativity of Custom Route Stems, we are aware of the exploits and imbalances introduced with this new feature. We will have fixes in upcoming updates. Dev Note: We are monitoring feedback around Zone Coverage. Known issue with the upcoming Legends program pack reveal animation AUDIO Commentary: We have seen feedback regarding the volume level of commentary being a little too low and have plans to address this in a future update Soundtrack: We see some players are having trouble finding the ‘Classic Songs’ that can be turned on for the soundtrack. This can be done from the main menu: PlayStation: click the touchpad. Xbox: press the Back button. PC: Press the “T” key to access the menu. PRESENTATION Gameplay Cameras: We will continue to monitor feedback regarding the default gameplay camera angle. For players who may not know, during a game, you can press up or down on the directional pad to change the gameplay camera during a game. GAMESHARE Some players using the console gameshare feature are having difficulties with matchmaking. Open Madden and go to the main menu. Select the "Start" option. Navigate to the "Free Trial" section. Attempt to start the free trial; this should prompt the system to check for latest updates. If there are updates available, follow the on-screen instructions to download. After updating, try reconnecting your account to see if the issue is resolved. For now, this can be solved by swapping to the account on the console that purchased the title. I preordered the CFB/Madden MVP bundle and am loving CFB however I'm still not seeing Madden 25 anywhere in my owned games or the availability to pre-download it. With the early access 2 weeks away that you are supposed to receive when you preorder the bundle I'm concerned about when Madden 25 will show up in my "owned" games.

Create a Player in Franchise GONE
So I have a huge complaint against madden 25 that is literally keeping me from buying the game. They removed the option in franchise where you change role to a player or create a player. I think in 24 you could pick many different positions, but for myself I’d pick quarterback. I’d create my own quarterback that would progress and I’d control offense. I could make the right calls on 4th down, call my own plays, control how the players on offense move, or change the type of catch thrown. The superstar mode is so weird and has no control to it- useless storylines, weird camera angle, no control of other players, no making the right calls. I see no reason why they had to remove something that’s been in the game for YEARS. Like what benefit did it do? Please patch and fix this, will get a guaranteed buyer out of me and many others.

I keep getting the following error: Error… Our servers cannot process your request at this time. Please try again later. this happens when I try to play anything in ultimate team. I also tried superstar mode and it’s stuck on the main screen. Btw I’m on Xbox.

Custom playbooks need to be allowed to be selected in the Team Scheme section in H2H mode. Because you are unable to select your custom playbook you cannot use custom playbooks in online H2H. I like to have the best experience in this game. If you are going to allow us to create playbooks. Please fix this issue and add it to your next update. MADDEN 25

Seasons Summarize your bug Yesterday for a short period of time, the new all madden challenges were available to play. I played them all and received item for them. However, when I open the reward items, they had nothing to do with what the pack said was in it. For instance , it said I received 5 all-madden elite ability tokens and 1 86+ BND all-madden player or 81+ OVR all-madden player fantasy pack. When I opened that pack The player was a 76 common rated player, although the pack said it would be an 86+ all madden player. Also, all the upgrade tokens for all Madden I received have disappeared. I realize that this challenge was out a day early, so there must’ve had some glitch yesterday today I go to play the challenges and it says that I already received my rewards which I have not. Can you please help me I have pictures and video to prove it. How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%) Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I don’t know What happens when the bug occurs? You don’t receive your rewards What do you expect to see? That there was a glitch ‌ I recorded a video of me opening the pack and the player that I received.
