Pga tour golf
I hope the franchise will be renewed soon. I hope it's not. Dad for another 5 years like they did with McElroy version. The hiatus between renewals means that people aren't talking about the game and although some games are renewed annually and it makes it monotonous, maybe EA sports can get the PGA tour renewed every 3 years similar to to the 2K competitor version. I think some improvements to the game is necessary but the game has a solid foundation in the use of lidar and other imaging on the courses it has is amazing. Some area of improvement would include a greater personalization of your character. I also think they need to have fantasy courses. Fantasy courses can be purchased separately like the old tiger woods courses. They were the best and it kept a lot of players coming back to play. Another edition would be customizing the clubs so that you have something to play towards in terms of improving the distance and a hitting strike of the club. I think more customization with the weather and the settings in the golf course would help. I noticed that I play on a higher difficulty than my friend, but he ends up having to play on the similar difficulty and it's frustrating for him. Please do not give up on the PGA tour golf. I know it's not as popular, especially among young gamers, but there is a bunch of adults that really love the game. It's calming. It's fun and the announcers are well done. The game is gorgeous.
The reason why EA Abandoned the PC gaming 15 years ago and consoles 10 years ago
CHEATERS. It has nothing to do with the game being too arcadish like the extremely small group of regulars left on this forum, and what EA wants you to believe are saying. It was CHEATERS. Back in the tw08 days we coined the term "Edgers" to label a cheat who was either using mouse drivers locking the axis, or hard edges on the mouse or joystick to ensure straight swings. Its simply very easy to cheat in a golf game and no way for the game to detect it. In 2008 EA claimed it was hackers pirating their games that was costing sales causing them to abandon the pc. They been complaining about that since 2005. People use to burn games even for consoles. But the truth was most people bought their game to play online in with friends and family or to meet people in community clubs and tournaments, etc.. And you couldn't do that with a pirated game. But starting in 2005 cheating started becoming a major problem and eventually the game became a ghost town just like this one by 2008. Well not as bad as this one, not even close, but a dead pop by 2008 standards. These are the same reasons many of us are now going back to 2k23 or like me buying it for the first time. And let me tell you, its an amazing experience compared to this game. Its what i've always wanted in an online golf game and I'm least thankful for ea pushing me to 2k23. It has an actual mmr and ranking system with crossplay for all control types. And I get instalty matched with a palyer of my level for a competitive matchup, almost all the time. I'm loving it. But I originally thought ok maybe ea is trying to make every game mode a hard simulation because they are just listening the wrong people. But now I'm thinking those wrong people are EA themselves after they just locked another thread asking for turn based multiplayer options, and people in there started gathering to call the fact out development is making everything a similuation mode, which agian 99% of players don't want was was evident on this forum many months ago. Now only the sim people are left, and its literally just a dozen of them! lol Why did EA ignore 99% of the community that was asking for turn based multiplayer since launch, for literally months and months on end? Not even acknowledging this request while addressing others? Because of everything I've said above which, understandably, they still hold resentments over.
PGA Tour Private Match Error for last 3 days
For the last 3 days, during the weekend! Me and the boys were trying to get ready for annual masters tournament to decide our draft order for the Real Masters! We play fantasy Masters! Anyways, we been trying to connect using Private Match and it’s been a hassle! First few days, it was rough but today, can’t even get a lobby going with four different guys trying! EA is there anyway we can get this fixed??? Everytime we load or try to connect “You have been disconnected”!!
Backspin and more
Can you explain me what decide if there will be backspin or not. It seems COMPLETLY random. sometimes i hit 1 foot of the cup than 35 yards backspin wtf??? Sometimes there is backspin, sometime there is not. It does not always depend of the wind, wind in the back i got sometimes backspin sometimes not, same for the wind in the face and with almost all club... Driving, i play real golf and i have never see a driver where the ball going 275 yards long and roll for 10 feet. The course are in mud??? same with many club but with the driver, it is pathetic... I choosed EA because peoples said it was more realistic, 2k23 is worst than that?? Do i need to play 3000 18 hole to get the max stats??? If someone have a cheat, i take it immediately. I dont play online and will never so...
Can't play Masters - Game Crashes To Desktop Immediately After Intro Video
So we are now 1 year and 12 updates down the track and I still can't play The Masters Tournament in career mode - absolute disgrace and kind of embarrassing for a game which has the strapline: "Road to the Masters"! Game works pretty flawlessly otherwise - 70 hours logged and have played most every course and no other issues with career mode - except for the Masters. I can play Augusta without any issues via Quickplay but every time I try to play the Masters in career mode, without fail, the game crashes to desktop right after the intro video. I am confident this is not an issue with Windows, graphics card or settings, or my hardware spec as I can replicate exactly the same behaviour on both my desktop and laptop - crash occurs immediately after the cheesy Masters video completes on both systems. This issue has been identified on this forum and others numerous times by others and there has never been an adequate response from EA - just unacceptable... Platform: Steam (PC) EA online name (in the EA App): ScottyZEE3 Are you getting an error message? No - straight-up crash to desktop. Date this issue started (is it still happening?)? Since purchase (Dec 2023) What are the exact steps we can follow to reproduce this? Try playing the Masters If possible, share a Screenshot or Clip... If on PC an EA Error Report ID (Steps here): If on PC, please share a DxDiag (Allows us to get PC Spec's, Check for errors/crashes, and look at drivers)Cant progress in the campaign
So im in week 27 of season 1 in the campaign. And i have had no problems up to this point however for the past 3 days now whenever i try and either play the round or skip it the game literally freezes until i shut the game down completely? I have tried literally everything including uninstalling, anyone else dealt with this?
How to access/use the weekly quests
Im sure this is an old thing but im a newb to the game (loving it) and im really frustrated with the weekly or live quests. Even simple ones like "play 36holes at course x this week" and I full 4 round tournament and it doesnt register i did it. Weirdly when I play the majors those quests have always worked or let me complete them. Any of you legends know how I can get them to work? Many many thanks in advance
