Losing money on purchases due to lost connections
Can I get tickets and coins reimbursed due to constant “lost connection “? I have purchased points to buy tickets to play weekly and seasonal tournaments. It’s quite costly when you purchase tickets with actual money and it goes down the drain losing connection in middle of the event. Not knowing anything about the industry (HUGE DISCLAIMER in case this makes no sense financially or businesswise) but I believe EA should take the opportunity right now to corner the market on the golf gaming industry. It seems people may be trending towards sports games that are almost more like simulators than games (and this is where my ignorance may show). I believe the current EA Sports platform, redone, can be extremely popular. People without the game: $149.00. Those who already own it get a 50% discount. Imagine this game with the following improvements (with input from the whole community, developers can take the best ideas and combine them): Rework the characters. They are horrible and everyone seems to know this. There is quite a bit of technology that I believe photographs can be used to make the likenesses much closer and less…they’re just bad right now. Can you add a few new players as well? Women and men. Aren’t there new “engines” that can run this game with much better graphics and more efficiently? (See? I’m ignorant.) Create 3-4 times the amount of random spectators and have their reactions make more sense. The announcing is quite good SOMETIMES. Oftentimes though, it makes little to no sense. o Announcing something the AI golfer does, as if I did it (scores, etc.) o The shot is short right and I hear, “A little left and a little long but…” o Within one game you can hear the same thing at least 4-5 times. Announcer improvements: o Announcements based on past experience with each particular course. o (This is where the big $$$ may come in) Use 4-5 different announcers and even use someone “following” the golfer. Consider the current cast of announcers on TV. o Create at least 4-5 times the number of different sayings that may come up. o Make the sayings more appropriate to what is actually happening. Personally created golfers could look more like the person creating them. o Again, use photos. For people to create their own golfer, have them input 4-5 photos of themselves at different angles. Use these photos to create a much more realistic golfer that players can “believe” are actually themselves playing with PGA golfers. The better the realism, the more immersion. The better the immersion, the more fun. o It seems you can input your face onto cheap phone apps and get a caricature made in seconds. I can’t imagine a gaming company can’t do this fairly cheaply. I know it was done with the old Xbox 360 and the “Kinect.” I would imagine you could use the USB port and a thumb drive or something now?? Fix the bugs!!! o Playoffs don’t work. o New seasons? No way to advance anymore. o (Look online and pick the biggest problems first and work your way down.) Start a “What Would You Want to See” forum and let fans decide what should be implemented. Find the best whatever number of ideas, pull those out, and have people rate them 1-10 on importance to them. (I’m sure there are better ways but this just popped into my head.) These are just a few ideas but hopefully the picture can be seen. The courses could look almost as if you are there. The crowd can look and sound much more realistic. The announcers can sound like you are watching on TV. I believe the basis and technology used in the first place in this game are phenomenal. And since you already have the base game, only improvements need to be made, keeping costs down (is my guess). No need to reinvent the wheel. But it is time, I think, to step up to the plate with all of the new technology before someone else chooses to. Or maybe no one else is competing and you can sit and continue making money on this as-is since the “other” golf game is so terrible. I don’t know. I just know there is some serious potential to create a golf game that is used as the basis throughout the world that this company can monetize easier and quicker, especially since the fanbase is already here, and continue to update through the years. Think of MSFS2024: It had/has tons of bugs (many of which have been fixed), but it’s a great platform to grow on. Only with golf. Very interested in hearing others’ thoughts! Would you pay for the upgrade? Would you buy this at this price point if you didn’t have this game already? I believe you can charge a premium when you have a premium game. “If you build it, …”
PGA Tour 2k25 Account issues.
I am having account issues.... I bought PGA Tour 2K25 about a week ago through Steam, just like the other PGA games I have that have worked. When I opened PGA Tour 2K25, the game seemed to load fine, until it said to connect my account. When I tried that I kept getting hung up in the messaging. Somewhere in the Portal it has my email wrong and I can't change it to my real email because it says it already exists. I have uninstalled the game and reinstalled. I need to know which folders to delete so I can do a fresh install. Thanks in advance. On a very fine PC so don't even go there.Black/Grey Screen
When opening the game the screen just stays black. it doesnt crash and it will stay there for hours, the only thing that happens is the screen turns slightly gray on occasions and the mouse will show and stay stuck in the center of the screen.. I have already attempted to do the following things with no success. Change the HardwareSettings.json file to ensure Graphic settings are set to the lowest as well as HDR being disabled. Boot PC in safe mode Run as administrator Disable Fullscreen optimization Use compalibility manager on Windows 11 alt + Enter to put in windowed mode cleared Ea app cache repaired/ verified game files (Have installed and uninstalled game three times) im sure ive done a couple of other things but cant remember right now All my GPU drivers are up to date i run plenty of games with higher PC requirements not sure why this game in particular is giving me trouble. I played this game when xbox cloud offered it on cloud gaming i finally buy it and its been a whole week of troubleshooting with no success. Thanks in advance for any support
Is PGA Tour on PC unplayable for others?
I have been having a problem with the game for some time now, that means I can't play the game. I tried to boot the game up, but when it tried to connect to the server, it just kept trying and would not connect. I exited the game, but now it says the game is still running in Steam. I try to stop the game, but it keeps staying "Stopping" but it doesn't work. I have tried all the help forums but nothing I have tried works. I can't even Uninstall the game as that option has been removed from the Manage tab in Steam. So I am stuck. I can't make it run, I can't uninstall it. Where do I go from here? For context, I have had this game since it first came out I have put in nearly 70 hours. I just don't know where to turn to and EA doesn't seem to offer personalised support beyond generic help article. Hi everyone, I am reaching out to the community and the moderation team to report a specific, repeatable matchmaking issue on Xbox Series S that appears to be tied to backend account data rather than local hardware. Currently, I am completely unable to play in 4-player lobbies, and I am hoping a Community Manager can escalate this to the technical team for a look at the backend. The Issue 3-Player Lobbies: Work perfectly with no latency or disconnection issues. 4-Player Lobbies: The exact moment a 4th player joins the lobby, everyone is instantly disconnected. How It Occurred The issue began after a full reinstall of the game. Matchmaking worked briefly until I attempted to join a lobby with one specific friend. The moment they joined, the connection crashed. Since that specific crash, my profile has been unable to host or join any 4-player lobbies, even when that specific friend is not online. Because the issue persists across different groups of players, it appears a corrupted matchmaking state or token may be stuck on my EA profile's cloud data. Troubleshooting Already Attempted To help narrow this down and save the moderation team some time, I have already thoroughly tested all standard local troubleshooting steps: Game Reinstalls: Performed a full 72GB game reinstall 4 times (this temporarily resolved it once, until the specific player conflict occurred again). Console Cache: Cleared the Xbox Series S local cache and performed a hard power cycle. Save Data: Deleted local console save data and cleared the "Reserved Space" multiplayer cache partition. Network: Power-cycled my home router/modem for 5 minutes to completely flush the NAT routing tables. Because the issue immediately returns upon syncing my profile, it strongly indicates a backend data conflict rather than a local network or console issue. Request for Escalation I have attempted to navigate the automated EA Help channels to request a manual Account Sync Reset to clear this matchmaking state, but I have been unable to reach a support advisor through the automated system. Could a Community Manager or Moderator please pass this case along to the technical or server team? I am experiencing a game-breaking matchmaking bug on Xbox Series S that is completely isolating my profile from 4-player games, and I have absolutely no way to reach anyone at EA to fix it. Now, even when that specific "problem player" is not online, I still get disconnected the moment any 4th player enters the lobby. This clearly indicates that the lobby crash injected a corrupted network token straight into my EA profile data, which is saved on EA's backend cloud servers. I bought the iron spec mentioned a few days ago, I saw some people had the same issue and it appeared after some time so I decided to wait. It still hasn't showed up, what can I do to fix this? It was 15000 coins so it would be nice to haveMissing Rewards:PGA Tour Road to the Masters (2025).
Game shows I "Collected" a reward yet it is not in my rewards tab nor in my club specs tab. It was a Legendary Hybrid Spec for completing the three requirements for the Arnold Palmer Invitational Tourny under Career Quests/PGA Tour. This was on PC and I have reported on May 17, 2026 to Support and am awaiting resolution.
