Hi everyone, I’ve just d/l the above game as EA had an amazing deal. However, I cannot connect as I haven’t used my account for years and my old email address no longer exists (Virgin Media, I’m now with Sky) I’ve created a new account but it still wont connect me at the opening screen. Unnecessary frustrating (wind, putting) / general feedback
WTF? Wind and Putting completely inconsistent. Guys, what is this!? I want to give feedback and there's just no proper way to do it. Chat doesn't work, no email, wtf? So I'll post it here publicly. Whatever. The wind and putting breaks are completely inconsistent. It's freaking annoying. I had 12 mph crosswind to the left in 1 hole, aim to the left of the green and it just goes completely straight (into the water). Right at the next hole, 12 mph crosswind, this time aiming straight for the hole and it goes meters to the right (into the water). Wind just seems to apply whenever the game thinks suitable. 9 out of 10 times it works right. 1 out of 10 it just doesn't do anything at all. Come on, you can't be serious. Same with the putting breaks. Just mega inconsistent. Usually, I can adjust myself to anything in the long term. Not with this putting. The break speeds - even if they seem exactly the same - have completely different outcomes. Thus, min. 2 putts per hole. Screws my game, frustrates me heavily. And I'm on EASY putting level. Why do you take the fun out of this game? It's so wonderfully presented. There is so much good in this. Why this level of unnecessary frustration? In the game and also when one wants give feedback. Just frustration. Why!? Feedback: would be great to have the merchandise / sponsor options from 2K23 in the game. One kind of money currency to buy equipment/clothes instead of several strange ones (Tokens, etc.). Also: give out special things/clothing/clubs for tournaments wins / achievements. Clubs should have an effect, not specs. This way, it would be meaningful to have different bags. To know that Big Bertha is a powerful driver and a Taylor SIM is there when precision is needed. Like this, it's just cosmetic arcade. Why? It was possible to do that in earlier golf games. Why get worse with time? You should develop forwards, not backwards. Challenges are nice, but an absolute grind. I should hit the green with 5 out of 5 shots but then the wind sometimes has effect and sometimes doesn't. That has nothing to do with "skill". It's just random. That just makes me angry. And games should make one happy and not angry. Hope that this reaches someone. But honestly, I think, I just wasted more of my time by writing this. DirectX function "GetDeviceRemovedReason" failed
I keep getting the following error: "DirectX function "GetDeviceRemoved Reason" failed with DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_RESET ("The device failed due to a badly formed command. This is a run-time issue; The application should destroy and recreate the device."). GPU: "NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060", Driver: 56603. This error is usually caused by the graphics driver crashing; try installing the latest drivers." I have been getting this error since the start of this gamecycle, never had this issue before. This only seems to happen when the game is running, but another window (e.g. chrome) is running 'in front' of it, so fc25 is on the background. Arcade?
Today was easily one of the worst Arcade setup ever. 15 mph wind at Augusta with sucker pins, really? We're supposed to try to hole out on Arcade, not just trying to put it somewhere close, and putting on some of the toughest breaking greens in the game. Where are my shoes?
I played this a while back and on my golfer, I had my "lucky" shoes. (blue strap saddle shoes) Now I'm on a new account starting all over again and I can't find where these shoes were from. I looked at the rewards for a bunch of stuff and can't seem to find them anywhere. I didn't pay for premium or buy any cash shop points/money so they were in the base game somewhere. I know you will say they don't matter because they are just for looks, but these are my lucky shoes and are adding at minimum 3 strokes to my game not being on my avatar's feet. When is EA sports going to take cheating seriously? It ruins games! I bought this game to play online, tournaments, everything. I don't like seeing the cheating. On the bright side, the cheaters make me a better player because they have to cheat and STILL can't beat me. Some of them are so obvious while streaming you can see it. Not everybody cheats but when you're a good player you can spot the cheaters. It's already made me sometimes regret spending the $70 for this game it's so bad but, I love golf. stop whining its a shame thats persons like u whining about ea..... U are a cheater and nothing else!!!! -29 on a par 18 on tournament today or other suspisiouos scores destroy this game for REAL golfers maybe u get lucky to get one good round some day, maybe ok, but scores like -15 on 9 holes -8 on 4 holes with only one par 5..... -15 on 9 holes -25-29 on 18 holes EVERY time are impossible!!!! there´s always changing wind and others things that no one can control every day!!!! i´m really good but u r cheating and nothing else!!!! i dont know how, but r cheating!!! Lee-Putting Challenge Star Issue
Product: EA Sports PGA Tour Platform: Xbox Series X Summarize your bug: When playing the "Lee-Putting" Challenge, the second putt does not register. As can be seen in the video, I make both putts but am not given credit for making both putts or even getting both putts within 2 feet of the hole. The first putt registers, as can be seen when looking at the stars when progressing through the challenge, but the second does not. How often does the bug occur?: Every time (100%) Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves?: Go to "Challenges" and then to "The Vault" which is on the bottom right. Go to "2023 Open Championship" which is on the bottom left and then "Round 2 Moments". Go to "Lee-Putting" which is the 3rd challenge and complete the challenge. What happens when the bug occurs?: I do not get credit for completing the challenge successfully and am missing two stars as a result of the bug. The game makes my PC internet connection cut out. I get to play one full hole and half way playing through the second hole I lose connection. And its not just from the servers, its the actual PC ethernet connection is broken. I've tried it with Wi-Fi also. I have never had this with any other game. My internet works on other devices when this is happening, so the internet to my house isn't cut. Just to the PC. Every time I've played the game it has happened. I've tried for 3 or 4 nights now and its the same each time. I've never had any internet issues in this house and I've been here for seven years with the same provider and had zero issues. I've restarted the router. Tried using a VPN. Neither worked. Haven't tried much else. Any ideas? Bought 2023 PGA Tour through Steam. Tried running it without overlay, running it through EA app alone, reducing settings to minimum, restarting, recovering the EA App and everything else. The game runs painfully slow. Super glitchy. And sometimes even crashes my system entirely. My computer is only about 4 years old and runs every other game including Skyrim, Black Mesa, Minecraft, and others at roughly mid-to-high graphic settings with no issues at all. PGA Tour keeps crashing at the same point in the game!! On 2 separate PC's.
My PGA Tour keeps crashing at the same point in the game multiple times over two days. It occurs on two different pcs. Been running fine for the last 3 weeks otherwise. I used all the tips provided by a chat agent, selected repair and cleared the cache. I am a pc user with the EA App Launcher. The agent provided a link to submit a bug report but It was a dead link. The EA App is a Pain in the Butt
After about every 3 rounds the game will not start and I have to go the EA App Recovery, click on clear cache and then log in to the EA App. This has been going on for the last 4 months. I bought the game in the spring of 2023 and up until 4 months ago the game loaded and ran without the above issue. I am running Windows 10. I assume other people have the same problem and surprised it has not been fixed.
