motorcycle PVP
I will start with this , I hate motorcycles , I think everyone who rides one is a monkey on the sharpening stone , so usually I just do not log in when that PVP event is on , which by the way should be in the same car race category since everyone got the same bike , but today out of curiosity I logged in , and I was in the PVP for 4 hours , NOT ONE PERSON JOINED , N O T O N E , so go to check out how many people are playing , the number was 670 on steam , so can we finally admit that no one gives a **bleep** about bikes in a NFS game , and get that **bleep** out of the PVP cycle for good , or that it just the state of game now , a dead game .......................get rid of Cretinion EA , they are not want we want for a decade nowTournament
in case you guys did not know there was a tournament this past weekend , a tournament created by those who the developers listened the most since they stroke their ego loving the waving and boosting , and just to let you know how popular that system is , there were a whooping 30 people watching it , all 30 of them are contestants , and probably their moms , that is how popular that system and those who abuse it are , so let that be a lesson for the next game , if you are making a car game make sure that driving that car is your main goal , and if you do not want to make a car game just do all of us a favor , and don`t be involved , or at least put your system on display in the trailer , so we do not buy it if it is not about driving , but the best would be if EA would find another developing team , we are sick of Cretinion , they can`t make a good car game to save their own life
Another NFS game failure -.-
Maybe TLDR... or spend few minutes while eating pop corn ... but if you read, do it properly, not read half lines and assume you got the point! So yes, I’ve decided to write about yet another failure in the NFS series — which, let's face it, is dead, but EA keeps resurrecting it because flashy visuals still sell to untrained minds and easily impressed teenagers. First off, let’s talk about the sound design. As with most studios lately, the sound editors here seem to have no idea what human hearing even is — let alone how sound actually feels. The difference between environmental sound and speaker-driven noise seems lost on them. The result? It all sounds like it was recorded in a tunnel or bathroom. It’s like we’re being experimented on, and game companies just smile while turning the dial toward intentional irritation. I honestly got sick — and I mean really sick — every single time I accelerated. That endless “bam boom bam boom” of synthetic pedal hammering is so intrusive it might as well be shouting, “Quit the game and never come back!” Then there’s the absurd “volume innovation,” where the engine sounds louder at low RPM than at higher speeds. Really? And don’t even get me started on how all other sound drops the moment dialogue kicks in. I had to completely mute voices just to enjoy the cars I chose. It’s a headache, not a feature. The car's engine sound, ANY of the player's cars... is so muffled, that I can even hear the pedestrians voices, while in police chase even, saying.... "watch out".... loud and clear, covering my engine by miles, and even the gear shifting and pedal hammering are louder... all these are stupidities and so bad work of clueless sound editors, that not even any Normalization technique can fix !!! The game clearly panders to this exaggerated “woke-gangsta” aesthetic — something you’ll notice right away from the tone of the update notes. It’s all “yo” and “ya” and over-the-top attitude, chains, earrings, and leg-dragging swagger like it’s trying to impress some imaginary street-cred algorithm. See that "we stand united" signs across the roads? Speaks volumes!!! Visually? The car editor is another failure. Clicking on a part causes the camera to jump like a flash grenade just went off — jarring, disorienting, and far from smooth. As for the mouse control? It’s like trying to rotate a tank with a mouse tied to a cement block. Want to spin 360°? Better have biceps and desk space to match. And the HUD… my eyes hurt just thinking about it. It’s not blur — it’s layered text effects pretending to be edgy design. Who came up with the idea to stack transparent copies of numbers? It's just a guaranteed path to eye strain. Cookie for that “brilliant” move? And finally — when you keep putting out games that get worse every time, and your response to criticism is to hide behind forum moderators and “codes of conduct”… well, that says everything. The real “shield” isn’t protecting the community — it’s shielding your ego. 14/7/2025 UPDATE: Had to add few more important lines here to make it more clear on what I see.. Visibility Issues in Tunnels During rainy conditions, especially in tunnels, visibility drops massively — rival cars often appear pitch-black, making collisions nearly unavoidable. Weak LOD and Asset Pop-In Level of Detail is way too shallow. Objects, roads, and traffic pop in late at high speeds, ruining immersion and reaction time. Can't play with binoculars attached on my head! Unrealistic Car Behavior Mid-Air When a car loses contact with the road, and I mean instantly, not few ms or 1-2 secs, even if it's a simple road to sidewalk, it instantly aligns to camera direction — totally illogical, immersion-breaking, and just plain annoying. Cop Mechanics Are Overpowered Police pickups (hello, Colorado tanks) chase me down no matter how fast I go — even in hypercars. It’s laughably unbalanced, even for arcade physics. This has been a plague since NFS MW 2005 even, you never learn obviously. Traffic Density = Crash Festival Traffic spawns in unpredictable clumps, making high-speed escapes or clean race lines nearly impossible. I’ve crashed more in this game than in the entire Underground series combined — and no, it's not a skill issue. Broken Launch & Speed Balance Between Cars Same-class rivals magically launch faster and outrun me effortlessly, even in relaxed mode. Can’t do wizardry behind the wheel — I came here to race, not cast spells. Lack of Racing Identity Cops spawn in nearly every race, forcing chase sequences constantly. The game feels more like Need for Chase Unbound than a true racing title. Constant car selection by force! When I head to a race, I do so by having picked already a car I want.. so why do I have to forcefully pick or confirm my car every **bleep** time? It already got tiresome and a chore and If i wanted to change, I could so in the way NFS payback and heat did... by choice, not force. Am I to enter a lower category race? ok, I can pick my car on my own or use the one I have, even if higher tier, why do I have to be restricted when I put effort to buy and customize it? And no.. I never play online those games, I prefer my solo peace than dealing with teens and show offs. I don't get it, why must every race, raise heat for crumbs of money? Safeguard your precious fake money from us in a vault if you want even, but this, is ridiculous and laughable. And I thought NFS heat was bad... seems you could even worse as you did, nothing hew here ! At least in NFS heat, I can race during day and still enjoy it, even if i now have millions of $ there, I like the feeling of racing in hard mode there and trying to compete without hitting my opponents or smashing everything in my way. I’m not here to bulldoze through traffic or play demolition derby — I want to enjoy driving, feeling the rush, not smashing things like I’m commanding a tank. 05/08/2025 UPDATE: Few more things to add, to keep rubbing your failures in your face, devs of the bad hour.. Cinematic crash-test.. with your nerves! - As if it not enough that your LOD is terrible and your auto-exposure seriously flawed, especially while entering-exiting tunnels, you have implemented that "innovated" cinematic, accompanied with disturbing effects, every single time we crash on traffic (or not) cars, no matter how fast we do that, just to play with our mood, because of your sadistic minds... !! Same had happened back in the very bad remake of NFS MW 2012 and none liked it then as well, so you verify, that no EA studio ever learns. Handling? Either our way or..... - Your handling tuning, is from another world as well ! Why do I have to lower all the way to slow my steering sensitivity, in order to keep my cars and sanity from escaping reality itself? So it's either ... "you turn as WE in the useless studios want" ..or.. "you try to turn as you could in previous titles and lose the race"!! And they pay you for that? ofc they do, you are of the same mind! Zoon in, zoom out.. you shall not see ahead! - And ofc another of their innovations in recent nfs titles... you accelerate? camera goes back, road gets narrow, cars ahead get.. tiny! You deccelerate? All back to.. "normal"? Lights out.. ! - You shall NOT see a car ahead but only its lights... when you are 5 meters close to it!!! Because...yes, lights have limited radius, according to EA always!! SO yes, crash is almost guaranteed. What, no? Now... I don't know which school teaches such .... "innovative" tricks, but obviously, is not one that relies on logic and physics, more like..."we do what we want and teens pay us for it no matter what"! NFS Unbound, will simply be another game locked in history, where it will remain UNfixed, UNacceptable, UNenjoyable and will be the last station as I see it for me, since 90s, reminding me of why I must never buy any other nfs again, unless some miracle happens and they start using their brain, which is not possible, so yes.... I am done with EA studios as it seems, enough with you. Milk the gen Z now, you can and they pay happily for such annoyances.This game is insane
I don't understand why most people hate need for speed unbound cause I have finnaly gotten to play online after having the game for a while and a few days ago my friend had gotten the game and we have been playing he's been enjoying it and I've been playing lockeown with him and it is awesome. Great game

I'm sorry, I really can't get into UNBOUND because the controls feel too strange and I'm not used to it.My personal subjective opinion and suggestion is as follows: I hope the next generation of NFS is developed using the strengths and characteristics of 2015. There must be real-life cutscenes, and if necessary, there could be more meaningful DLC car packs, like MW2012 and the nearby FH5. so for the next generation of NFS, it would be best to develop it with the characteristics and advantages of 2015. Optimization problem, the reason I don't play Unbound is that the game uses too much CPU, which causes my CPU temperature to rise too high, it's too hot. After turning off the turbo boost, the temperature dropped from over 80 degrees at the default turbo frequency of 4.7GHz to 60 degrees at the base frequency of 3.6GHz, but it's still hot. I'm using a B360 Cooler Master water cooling system.In fact, these several Need for Speed games using the Frostbite engine, including 2015, Payback, Heat, and Unbound, consume a lot of CPU resources. However, RIVALS doesn’t use up much CPU resources. Also, I'm not very used to playing Unbound because I've been very accustomed to playing 2015,FAILURE TO LAUNCH ON LAPTOP
I paid for the monthly subscription of nfs payback. Downloaded successfully but does not launch on laptop. Whenever I try to launch, it refers me to the EA web page. I have deleted it, repaired it and downloaded again to no avail. Seriously considering cancelling my subscription. What can I do?How do I uninstall the Ultimate Edition Upgrade?
Hi, So I recently bought the Ultimate Edition Upgrade and got the known issue with lag whenever I finish a challenge or collect a collectible etc. I didn't know about this issue before purchasing the content, and now I'd like to uninstall it so the lag goes away. How do I do this?
A Thought
I just wanted to air this out here. Legendary Custom Kits were this game's ticket to doing the equivalent of what successful F2P games do with skins, like League of Legends or Fortnite. Ideally, keep the gameplay, (all cars), accessible by in game currency and challenges and peddle skins. Right? Maybe do a 'Warframe' and make it so you build your new cars with blueprints and parts. Maybe we find em in lockups and we buy ""blueprints"" from the garage store. Though, it doesn't have to get that chopped up, that is just one way I spend payed-currency in Warframe when I don't want to wait 3 days to play with the Warframe I farmed for, for example. I know. "You want a reality where there is ANOTHER game that successfully siphons money for cosmetics that we don't ACTUALLY own???" (Because when and if the game shuts down it's all gone-gone. [*Cough* NFS World *Cough*])... Not really. No. But I do want a long-term arcade racer and NFS Unbound is the closest the franchise has gotten to bottling lightning in a long time. Maybe the arcade racer crowd is just too small. Maybe I'm missing something. This has just been on my mind. Feels weird to come on here and basically say "Exploit me better. I think you can." But for some reason this felt worth saying outloud. I love arcade racers. They (especially ones that include street racing as a theme) seem especially easy to do the "Skin Store" for. If I was sure this game had a bright future with heart, I wouldn't be mad if it suddenly had a ton of cosmetic micro-transactions. Basically, all I'm saying is I'd buy cosmetic centric Volume Passes and buy from a cosmetic store. Again, gross to say, but I hate that the newest games that get closest to itching my NEED here always miss something or never stick around. Always fleeting.Manual trans not working while in race. Ps5- Car doesn't pass 120mph and the speedometer glitches out. Recognizes the gear changes but the car doesn't wanna move. Automatic works fine. This happens on controller and wheel/shifter. Im shocked that nobody else has complained about this or has this happening. It works perfect when driving around the city, but when I join the race it doesn't work anymore.
