Connection issues after update 1.65.1
For WAY over a week I have had to CONSTANTLY restart my game. Having connection issues with train/com/depot server. Resuming game also fails to load and I have to restart. I have lost out on buying items, completing assignments, and interest in continuing the game. Reinstalling the game does NOT help any of these issues. This is on IOS. Not sure if Android people are having these problems as well. I know you are a small indie company and probably generate less than 100,000 a year on this game...oh wait. Indie companies actually fix their issues and compensate their players for time/issues. Will we see this happen from EA? No *snip* WAY! Unable to complete daily tasks in Mayor's Contest
In the latest update, the daily task for sending trains in the Mayor’s Contest is not being counted. I send the trains, but the progress doesn't register. Please fix this issue. Don't know if this is fully a bug or a ridiculous design flaw (hard to tell these days) but you can store services acquired in the Maxis shop or awarded from event tracks, etc... ... except water services. I've now lost 2 water buildings using them on blueprint challenges thinking the 1st one was a one off glitch or a misunderstanding on my part. If it's a bug, I want the water items back that I spent seasonal currency on. Another services bug is emergency services saying they're not covered when they were and no buildings have been upgraded. But if I move a residential out and back in again it says covered. Since the update a few days ago, I have 2 separate messages in Frosty Fjords saying there is no connection to the main road and my satisfaction has dropped from 100 to 30%. I'm a new player, and my problem is with the current Mayor's Pass (Super Service 3). I'm currently at level 38, but my level has stopped increasing before the weekly cap. I'm not sure if it's because I haven't spent money to use the premium Mayor's Pass. I've checked other players' levels, and they're all stuck at level 38, while one player using the premium Mayor's Pass is at level 45. I hope this issue can be resolved or the reason explained as soon as possible, as there are only two days and 14 hours left in this event. Thank you. (CM: Edited to remove additional language. Why is it impossible te earn maxis headcentre in cityalbum because 8 months ago I did not earn egyptian hospital? This is sssooo stupid EA. Giving a reward only for People Who earned something in the past. 2 of my team members were removed from the club involuntarily, presumably by EA. One has rejoined after I sent an invite, but his team challenge points are zero. What is going on here? Can their points be restored to the team totals? Normally if someone leave of their own choice the points stay in the team total. Gameplay is fine for 45 seconds and then there are 4 brief freezes during an 18 second period. This started when Mayor's Pass Super Services 3 began on February 18, 2026. This has been repeating non-stop 24 hours a day since the season started. I recently purchased the Police Headquarters building using seasonal currency, and yet every time I try and look in my storage, it’s nowhere to be found. I checked the Maxis shop and it shows I’ve already purchased it, and I checked the city album which also says I have it available. However when I click the “show me” button, it brings me to the police tab with no Police Headquarters building there. I have not placed this building anywhere in my city, as I have not even gotten the chance to select it due to this issue. Originally I intended to only buy 1 copy of this building, but when the first one didn’t show up I tried buying another with yet again no success. I’ve spent too much currency at this point to have gotten nothing, please help. Ok, by now I'm just assuming the developer team is kidnapped and they're trying to send us a message or ransom note by messing this much everything everywhere... Or they might be simply effing around since they've realized how effed up this whole effery had boiled down to... Besides everything going wrong since the disgraceful services' update, I've decided to give it a chance and try to figure out what to do with the bunch of stuff I was given. Spoiler: needless to say the amount of coins I was given didn't nearly come close to the amount I've spent - and I could not finish yet putting things to a minimum order. Simoleons and buildings weren't barely enough and I foresee myself becoming broke by the end, which is near. And neo simoleons expenses and compensations were bluntly ignored! Nevertheless, scrolling through my screen I come across this weird situation (screen capture attached): they've merged railways along the cities within those decorative ones alongside the mountain... Now my trains venture themselves into the interiors of the rock... Such amateurish for those who spoiled the experience of thousands of players/customers listening only to the voices on their heads. Wanted to highlight this as it'll likely take time to get noticed in the general feedback thread. My biggest region - which produces most of my NeoSims, which I will need to get through this, is plummeting in happiness. 17% already, it'll soon hit 0%. Buildings are starting to get abandoned, though not at the rate I'd expect for the happiness levels. They then want me to renovate them. I have 338 RZs in this region - that will be very damaging if I need to renovate all of these Odd it is only happening in one region - and annoying that it is my most densely populated one.
