LV 99 YEAR PLUS PLAYER EA lost my trust
Ea customer service can't verify a purchase with seasonal coins even with screenshot. It shows grey out, so purchased, not in inventory. Over a year play, hundreds of purchases made. Second time they messed up were was part of challenge. Last time was a cash purchase. Took so long missed bonus reward. No can't participate in challenge, because missing key item. I've stayed durning last scew up updates, but Trust is lossFrequent crashes with capital city services menu
When accessing service menu… choosing items in stock, or applying roadways or fixing roadways, the screen freezes in black background with some elements and is not responsive. This since latest update… tried deleting and reinstalling to iPad twice and nothing changed… oddly problem does not occur on other cities….. WTF?Train Bug
/Yesterday, my train tracks that run parallel to the mountains on my Capital city have been diverted into the mountains. I was able to delete these tracks but I cannot put the tracks back in the proper location without it doing the same thing. This is after I installed an update from the Google play store. Is this happening to anyone else?
Broken Rewards on iOS
The daily (24 hour) 15 simcash reward is broken. When you click in game and it forwards you to the external EA site to claim it, it doesn’t work. On iOS at least. It does work on Android. I’m owed A LOT of simcash from the last few weeks of it not working. Latest Kingshot ads are broken in iOS. After viewing the ad the game soft locks with no exit and no reward from the ad forcing the player to restart the game. I’m owed a bunch of simcash from this one as well. And it’s really frustrating. Looks like the Contest of Mayors is now 3 weeks, instead of 4 weeks. Wow! 13 seasons in one year previously, now 17 seasons per year. Fantastic marketing from someone who should be watched closely. If my premium pass will only last for 3 weeks, I’ll quit getting the premium pass. The result will be a loss of 13 premium pass events, not a gain of 4! Hey, here is a fantastic marketing idea! Cut the season to 2 weeks! Now you have 26 seasons. Don’t bother to change anything. Then try to justify the move when overall participation drops 50% or more! I have participated in 63 contests, 155 contest rank. I would state with confidence that 63 is the entire history of the contest of Mayors. I have purchased the Premium Pass on each, almost like a monthly subscription. The timing for moving to a 3 week cycle is interesting. I noticed during the last season how dull the whole contest has become. However, I completed it up to tier 40 or so. This time I really don’t have a lot of interest. I allowed myself to slide down to the City league for the first time. This season will be the first time I haven’t completed the 38th tier. Reduce the season time frame and leave the old tired game the same. This would explain why the participation is slipping. I am not sure how long I have played this game, 10+ years. I have seen some improvements and I’ve seen changes I wasn’t interested in: Wars-Not a fan. Limited inventory storage didn’t allow stockpiling additional items and still be competitive in Contest of Mayors-Had to be in an Alliance and other games available Monsters- Not a fan. Same designs roll over and over, and often miss a normal holiday by a week. Rewards seem to be less desirable. Railroads-BORING! TOTALLY BORING!! Way too much effort required for an incredibly minuscule, stingy return. I play a Train specific game and I can watch the trains move and upgrade them in a straight forward manner. The train upgrade in SimCity is a convoluted nightmare! Even then, it’s pointless because the station is limited in max passengers. I was never hesitant to spend actual money on the game. It’s been a long time since there is anything worth spending money to gain. Has that idea crossed anyone’s mind? The problem is not that established players don’t spend money. The problem is established players don’t have anything worth spending money for!
Bridge Coupling Issues
Subject: Issues with bridge alignment and disappearing track segments. Description: The train track construction system is currently experiencing two significant issues: Bridge Coupling Issues: Creating tracks using bridges is extremely difficult. Specifically, bridges over water bodies do not snap or couple easily with the standard rail tracks. Disappearing Tracks / Pathing Bug: I am experiencing a bug where a section of the track completely disappears from the city view and magically cuts through the mountain terrain instead of following the laid path.Why do you only change it in a bad direction?
We have been steadily expanding railways, but now that the rewards have dropped sharply, it seems that the railways that are no longer worth the effort will be left unattended. Since railroad profits disappear permanently due to railroad leveling, railroad profits are rarely used to purchase items. Even though it is already troublesome to carry passengers, if fare revenue has dropped sharply, railways will no longer have any meaning in the future. Why hasn't operations made the changes we're happy about? The management is too desperate to get us to charge, and in the end, the number of customers is decreasing more and more.
Mountain
EA you need to stop all of these needless purchases that you are “forcing” the new players to buy! eg the mountain sign for 700 green cash is bs. Fortunately I didn’t have to get it but you really need to abandon this one as the new players can’t or won’t buy this. Pull ya finger out look at what you’re doing and be a little more understanding and stop putting up items that we don’t need or want, also not to mention fix the bugs and glitches!After the last update...
The game is simply unplayable. My capacity far exceeded the demand, still my entire town is red with only complaints about no electricity, water etc. Thinking this should only be some sort of error, I've deleted my city & the app and started again. But not after the same problems occured. I don't know how new players can ever start a new game succesfully. The city is turning red again, no money coming in and yet again the game is unplayable. EA support turned out to be more than useless. Any suggestions? I've really enjoyed playing, but not anymore!
Communication Is Pathetic
Why it that SimCity would rather you be in the dark than to provide clear information? This latest update is a perfect example. The mass transit facility is being built but I have no idea why or for what. Just a passing mention by EA and SimCity. Close to bailing on this game.
