Would love in-game support
Hi, I have been playing this game on-off for 5 years (off most of the time) and I started to seriously get into it over the past 8 weeks. So you could call me a newbie I suppose. Would love some tips, advice, allies or guild recommendations that can help me to leverage. Context, in this 8 weeks I have gone up to level 85, with a 1.1M GP (its crazy how much progress I made but I find myself stalling for the past week or so). much thanks :)21Views0likes0CommentsCantina Sector 9 Drop Rates and Preliminary Results
I don't normally post here, but I know that this is a hot button topic of "i feel" statements, so I very much would like to put some information on the forums that I haven't already made available either through Youtube or Reddit. If you have read Reddit, you've already read the majority of this post If you need somebody to talk you through it, you can find the video version here A couple of notes: We do not yet have enough information to definitively talk about exact drop rates, and I will keep taking data, but we do have plenty of data to be close enough to know optimal farming paths. One thing that is rarely talked about with drop rates is that what we call drop rates is actually the occurrence rate. . .The drop rate is actually different. It's not something I'll get into via text as I feel like it'll get lost in translation, but I did demonstrate the difference in the video. Fundamentally the difference isn't that important to 99.99% of players. Data wise we are currently running off of 1590/3300/5600 datapoints [by node], again, reliable enough to help us understand the relationship between drops, but not enough to pinpoint exact timetables. Note: My current sheets have the data at 2200/4200/11000 and the data has not shifted from the infographics in any significant way. At the moment we still have roughly 100 people submitting data to this experiment, and I am currently working on a more private experiment to find the frequency [drop rate] of drops, this will take much longer to work out, but we are on the right track. Things to note: If you recall our previous post [From Reddit], it appears 9F was brought up in crystal value to more closely resemble the values of 9B and 9D. Green Signal Data: 66% -> 85% [clear indication of increase] Blue Signal Data: 48% - > 49.9% [very likely remained the same] But this isn't enough for me and I wanted to actually determine the best ways to farm things. . .All below rates are per 100 energy spent. . . Things to note. . . If you're looking for Corrupted Signal Data [cSD] the new Cantina Sector 9 Nodes are clear winners, with 9B being the best conversion rate. Although Blue Signal Data has the highest value for cSD the drop rate is significantly higher on White Signal Data Cantina Sector 8 remains the clear winner for farming a specific Signal Data, although you are trading omicrons for zetas, which may make general farming on Sector 9 far more beneficial Just want the raw data? Note that the below is a screenshot from my Private Google Sheet. It is updated as of today, whereas the infographics [again, no significant changes] are about 7 days old. This means that there are going to be some slight discrepancies between the two. TL;DR Egnards Guidance Short Term Projects: If you're measuring meeting a deadline in days/weeks and your limiting factor is a single type of signal data? You should probably be farming it on Cantina 8. Relic 10 Conversion: 9B is the clear winner for speed of acquisition, but I'd argue that it makes more sense to farm 9D, as you get the best of both worlds. A slightly better rate of conversion, and more access to blue signal data for use [the most limiting of the signal data]. General Farming: If your goal is just to bolster your hoards of Signal Data then 9F is probably the best node for you. It has both of the rare signal datas and White Signal Data is easy enough to acquire more passively, as well as acquiring quickly if it becomes a limiting factor**.**EgnardsAtop1 day agoRising Novice40Views0likes0CommentsNew player with 10 years experience
Hi everybody So I am in a bit of a weird position. I have played swgoh for 10 years on and of (mostly on), but played simply as a star wars fan who thougth it was really cool to just gather all my favorite characters from the movies. I now want to take the game a little more seriously and have hit a bit of a problem. Because I have done free to play for so long I have 6.3 GP and even a master Luke Skywalker, but no clue about optimal mods, good and bad squads, datacrons and all that. Looking through beginner guides is somewhat helpful but I have found that a lot of the things they say to do simply does not apply to me because a lot of my characters are already high level. When I than look into hints for higher levels I get confused by slang and abreviations and what feels like a 1000 different things that i need to consider. So therefore I want to know if anyone has any really good tips for me or somewhere where I can read about explanations for "high level" players that does not assume i have been in the game for a long time. ps. I migth be willing to starts using a little bit of money, but in general i don't like the gambling of buying loot boxes where you migth not get anything good and because of the grind most of the beginner friendly packs give me characters I already have. If you know of good things to buy that does not cost more than like 30-50 dollars that would also be great.Chrisskywalker2712 days agoSeasoned Newcomer208Views0likes2CommentsLeviathan always goes 2nd
In mirror matches, my Leviathan always goes second. I mean, ALWAYS. I can’t figure it out! My crew members are all R9 or R8; my mods are 6-dot across the board; my Leviathan speed is maxed at 184, just like the enemy Leviathan. Yet, the enemy always — I mean, ALWAYS — gets the first turn. I understand that the game “flips a coin” when the capital ship speeds are the same. But what are the odds of losing a coin flip 25 times in a row? Answer: They’re low. They’re very, very low.Protasm20 days agoSeasoned Newcomer228Views0likes3Comments- 216Views0likes0Comments

Thank you EA
Like other days, I've had 6 interactions with the game; 5 were unpleasant and 1 was neutral. The day you stop calling generating frustration to make money "RNG," maybe people will take you seriously. Ten years and you're regressing. Thank goodness you have Star Wars behind you; this game should have shut down six or seven years ago at the most.x60308swx37z1 month agoRising Traveler243Views0likes4CommentsCad Bane is flawed
Just saying. Cad Bane should have a zeta where he flies around the enemy and places three thermal bombs, five on Jedi, on each toon after he reaches contract. He’s the only bounty hunter without a zeta and it’s crazy cuz he gave the Jedi fitsDukekengi1 month agoRising Novice124Views0likes4CommentsGrand Arena Matchmaking is flawed.
After months of losing to OP players that are 2-5mil higher gp than I am i am tired of it. Yes I get some fair matches but it is rare. My Ally code is 652-762-737. Again, I have had some fair matches but not many compared to time and time again of being matched against someone I have absolutely no chance at defeating. EA support told me that if enough players didn't enter then the system picks random players and yeah I guess they do and those players I have 0 chance of defeating. Can we all come together and get EA to make a fair game or is that to much to ask?UbbeOdinson23321 month agoNew Traveler192Views1like5CommentsMajor Partagaz sucks?
With the end of the new Marquee event, we get the one where you no longer earn character shards and instead battle for points. im currently on tier 4, which at the low end says level 45 should work. And yet I can’t do enough damage to kill a single unit, dispite having both of the new ISB units at level 50 and 5*. Why is it so difficult? Even if I manage to kill anyone, and usually it’s the tank, they just revive. I don’t usually get frustrated, but every single strategy I’ve tried has failed miserablySemTheBard1 month agoRising Newcomer237Views0likes2CommentsBest JMK squad?
So I made the uneducated decision a year or 2 ago, that I would go after jmk as my first gl as a f2p with 2m gp. I now have 3m gp and almost all of the requirements done. Unfortunately only being at 3m means I haven't unlocked proving grounds, so I don't have CAT. Is there a character that I can swap for her while I work on obtaining her? If so what's the best complete squad for jmk.vodfdphpk02z1 month agoSeasoned Traveler213Views0likes3CommentsWho should I give this mod to?
It is an arrow with a 23.5% protection primary, 24 speed secondary (5 rolls), 1 roll on % offense and flat protection and offense it is also a speed set. And a five star gold mod I was thinking Baylan but I have a speed arrow with ~12.5%protection secondary119Views0likes4CommentsHelp with Tier IV Gungans please!!
So I have been on tier 4 in order to unlock jar jar, but I feel like there is something seriously wrong. I have tried every single mod possible, have gone on YouTube for help, and maul continuously takes out jar jar every single time. I have Boss at 335 speed, attackers at 324, and 314, and Tank at 264 with 71.4% defense. I can get past Maul's first special, but if I survive it the second time around, he attacks again and takes Jar jar out! I don't know what to do... Is it a glitch or am I doing something wrong? I need some help here, please.ELOVE31311 month agoNew Rookie57Views0likes0Comments
