STAR WARS™ Battlefront™ I (2015) Connection Issues on Xbox Since May 20th '24
Star Wars Battlefront 2015 connection issues on xbox (series x) at 20.05.2024 Servers on Xbox are not connecting on startup after the account selection screen. The game is stuck in a loop while trying to connect to the ea account. In contrast to the September 2022 issue, i cant even get to the multiplayer selection screen and only play in offline mode. I also verified my connection and my nat is set to open. Additionally i did some cross checking with a couple friends and they are having the same issue. The issue was discovered at roughly 10:00 am at (UTC+2) and is still existing. I would be very glad if anyone has an idea on how to fix this issue. If you have the same issue, please leave a "like" or comment or something else. Anyway happy pentecost and have a nice day ! CM edit: edited title for clarity.Solved2.1KViews6likes37CommentsBattlefront won't connect to EA servers on Xbox Series X
As few already pointed out, the SWBF on Xbox are not connecting to EA servers. Tha game is unplayable for me right now. It only runs the Training mode. It would be great, if EA or Microsoft look into that.Slizokaz11 hours agoSeasoned Newcomer175Views5likes5CommentsBattlefront servers unreachable
Game: Star Wars Battlefront (2015) Platform: Xbox Series s Region: UK (Staffordshire) Gamertag: Subutai1175 Issue: Cannot connect to EA servers – error code 721 Date/Time observed: every attempt Frequency: 100% – every attempt to connect Other EA titles tested: Battlefront II (2017) connects with no issues on same console/network NAT type: [Open– from Xbox network test] Connection type: Wired Ethernet Troubleshooting tried: Restart console and router UPnP enabled on router DNS set to Google (8.8.8.8 / 8.8.4.4) Re-linked EA account Cleared reserved space / cache Still receiving error 721 Summary: Battlefront (2015) is failing to connect to EA servers with error code 721 in the UK region. Other EA games (including Battlefront II) connect normally, which suggests this is a server-side issue specific to Battlefront (2015) on Xbox. Please confirm server status and advise on resolution.zainey5111 hours agoSeasoned Newcomer230Views6likes8CommentsBattlefront will not connect
I have recently got the series X and transferred all of my games overs. The other Star Wars games work but Battlefront will not connect. Just keeps saying I must be logged into my EA account for online services (which I am). BF2, Squadrons and others all work, but this one just keeps saying connecting. Can anyone help ?BUGHEAD7511 hours agoSeasoned Rookie259Views8likes7CommentsSWBF (2015) stuck on connecting...
When I try to play multiplayer it just says "connecting..." and eventually just doesn't connect. It's never happened before, and I've tried everything with no solution yet. Seen other people having this problem, so EA if you could fix it that'd be great.balIenci3 days agoSeasoned Novice461Views9likes19CommentsBF 2015 DLC maps should be available offline to those who bought them.
Star Wars Battlefront (2015) is frequently discounted now, so it's easy to forget just how big it was in its hayday. But back then it was easy to load up a game of walker assault on the DLC maps. Nowadays even a regular 40 player game is near impossible to come by, and the DLC ones are near impossible to play. I enjoy playing offline, but the two scarif maps and the cloud city map are not accessible without getting an extremely rare lobby. Since there is currently a drought of new Battlefront and people are starting to get bored of Battlefront II 2017, I think tweaking this finely-aged game in such a simple way could boost attention and possibly even sales. I also think that it's fair to those who purchased and wish to play these maps but have not had the occasion due to low online output.94Views2likes3CommentsError 4270 Star Wars Squadrons
Posting this again since EA closed down the other thread regarding error 4270 in Star Wars Squadrons - claiming it was “necroposting” without offering any solutions or updates… Here is my original reply to another player - and several other players who posted within the last few weeks - regarding this multiplayer invite issue. I am able to invite at least one other XBox player to multiplayer in crossplay, but not other PC/Steam players… “I am on Steam and can successfully invite my buddy on Xbox using his EA ID, but I cannot invite any other steam friends using their steam ID or EA ID - I’ll get error code 4270 for all of them. It sucks because a couple of them just bought the game during the Christmas 2024 steam sale and we can’t play together at all… We’ve tried turning off crossplay, exiting the game, logging back in and turning crossplay back on - doesn’t work. Restarting the PCs also doesn’t work. EA!!!! HELP!!!!” The response from EA’s community manager (five days later) “Closing thread to avoid necroposting. If needed, please feel free to start a new topic.” Well EA, here’s your new thread on this SAME topic that your players are STILL having and are STILL recently posting about in a thread that is definitely not “necro…”aLoneIceburg4 days agoSeasoned Novice2.5KViews9likes13CommentsSwbf server problems.

Hello, I have a problem with the installation of Star Wars Battlefront (2004) on PC. I already had the complete game downloaded some time ago, but last year I got a new PC where I had to install all the games I own once again, thought all the SSDs and HDDs where simply move over to the new pc (even the boot SSD). As I got a slower internet connection too (from 1 TB to 100 Mbit) I only downloaded the games I wanted to play at that time. And the others when I had spare time and would not interfere with any other internet user in our household. Long story short - this week I tried to install all the ea app titles again on this pc, but I came across some weird behavior. First of all, more than the half of my games were lost. From 76 owned games only 35 were listed in my library. So I reinstalled the ea app and most of the games were back again. But two of the games cannot be installed - one of them is Star Wars Battlefront (2004). I tried everything - deleting the cache, delete the install folder, start again, booting again, reinstalling the app, tried different install drives. Every time the game installs to 98%, than there is a DOS Windows pop up, it closes immediately and the download of the game goes to pause. The second game is Burnout Paradise, which even started to download, there is only the indefinite loading circle before the download may start. I tried both installations several times about the last two days, sometimes there is an additional error message that states, that I do not own the games, though there are listed as owned in my library. I could not buy them in the app store even if I wanted to as I already own them. Any help? How to legally use EA Games under a Student Esport Committee
Dear EA Sports, I am a master student in a Swiss University. As a matter of fact, I am looking to create an Esport committee in my school starring multiple EA Games. Although I have already developed a "business plan", the school administration do not allow me to freely create it. Indeed, their legal department assume that as the games are owned by a private entity (EA) it may result in litigious outcome for the school by associating their name to Esport events starring your games... Being an Esport passionate student, I am keen to understand what are the "legal" conditions to be able to host Esport events and create an Esport committee without putting my school in troubles... As a matter of fact, I am not only looking to organise Esport Tournaments at school for students but as well playing the games occasionally without any competitive purposes. Thereafter, would my school be in a litigious situation if by creating this Esport we would only organise some gaming evenings without any competitive purpose ? Thereafter, could you help me understand what "legal" procedures I may follow in order to legally and "freely" make students enjoy EA Games in my school under a student committee management ? I would highly appreciate your help, LoïcSolvedsupergladiator711 days agoRising Newcomer423Views0likes2CommentsCan i really only link one psn account ever?

Hi everyone, I have an idea I’m really excited about for the next Jedi Survivor game. What if Cad Bane appears as a major antagonist with a thrilling and memorable story arc? The story would start with Cal and his allies responding to a distress signal from a remote planet. When they arrive, they find Kata unconscious but soon discover she’s been kidnapped by Cad Bane, a ruthless bounty hunter working with the Haxion Brood crime syndicate. Here’s a snippet of their first encounter dialogue: Cad Bane (cold and mocking): “Well, well... A Jedi lost far from his path. You’re not from around here, little one. But today’s your unlucky day.” Cal Kestis (determined): “Who are you? Where’s Kata? Let her go.” Cad Bane (smirking): “I’m Cad Bane. And Kata? She’s my ticket to playing in the big leagues. You’d better stay in your lane if you want to walk away alive.” This leads to an intense, cinematic boss fight where players control Cal battling Cad Bane with fast-paced, skill-testing mechanics. As the fight progresses, Cad Bane triggers a massive explosion and escapes with Kata, leaving Cal and Merrin behind in the chaos. Cal and Merrin later reveal they implanted a tracker on Kata, setting up a high-stakes rescue mission. This storyline keeps the focus on the main characters while introducing a darker, more complex villain and adds emotional tension and narrative depth. I’d love to see something like this in the next game! Thanks for reading and may the Force be with you.CadBane_X7728 days agoRising Novice15Views0likes0Comments
