Here's a list of bugs and glitches that need to be fixed, plus additions
Multiple songs can now loop correctly in Workshop and Remodel modes in the original MySims game, but that’s not all! A single song also loops continuously when you're at a location—like a building (in both games) or an area (in MySims Kingdom). A single track even loops repeatedly when you're customizing your Sim in Create-A-Sim. The voice and audio quality for characters, as well as the sound effects in both games, have a strange effect that makes them sound like they’re using a vocoder. I hope this effect gets removed in a future update. In the original MySims game, if you clone a block after painting it with an essence texture, the cloned block reverts its paint texture back to wood. A video link showcasing this glitch is included in the attachments. In MySims Kingdom, when the player is at Reward Island, two of the stereo soundtracks can't be heard in that area. I hope they'll fix this soon so the music plays there as intended! There are various audio bugs and glitches in both games, especially with ambient sound effects. In the original MySims game, if the player leaves the Town Square and goes to a different location—like the Forest or the Desert—the ambiance from the Town Square continues to play instead of switching to the correct ambiance for the new location. Also, in MySims Kingdom, after the player completes an island's story, the game transitions from day to night. However, once the transition is complete, the player continues to hear the daytime ambiance instead of it switching to the correct nighttime ambiance. The same issue happens in reverse—when night transitions to day, the nighttime ambiance continues to play instead of switching to the appropriate daytime sound. On super rare occasions, if a Sim gets kicked out, they will remain in town, even though they have no house. Even if the player builds a new house over the original spot, that Sim is still present in the game permanently. If a Sim is invited back after being kicked out, the house layout and furniture can come back in its default state. This results in a major item exploit as this glitch is repeatable. In the original MySims game, if you kick a Sim out, the number of occupied places on the map, counting the Sim that has already been kicked out, will not decrease. When a Sim uses a turntable in both games, the music doesn't loop after a single "DJ Booth" soundtrack ends. The same issue occurs with the stereo in the original MySims game during the "Dance Off!" activity, as well as when a Sim plays a portable video game or a game on an arcade machine. In the original MySims game, after one playthrough of the music from a portable video game or an arcade machine, the music doesn't loop, and only the sound effects can be heard. Also, after a single loop of the electricity sound effect used for the "Dr. F's Tubular Insanity" and "Dr. F's Tubular Madness" items, the sound does not loop again. In the original MySims game, if a Sim performs the same animation with another Sim who has the same voice type, his/her voice will either fluctuate in pitch to match the other Sim’s or settle back to the voice type's normal pitch. In MySims Kingdom, Liberty has black skin since she has tan skin in the original MySims game. In MySims Kingdom, Chef Gino’s fence texture has the wrong texture. The player can't be best friends with every NPC in MySims Kingdom despite completing all of their tasks. There were still quiet voices during the cutscenes in MySims Kingdom, as well as missing character icons. In MySims Kingdom, during the final cutscene on Rocket Reef, the Simlish countdown sound isn’t heard when the rocket launches. In the original MySims game, three of the loading screen soundtracks aren’t played during loading. In the original MySims game, there's a creepy glitch where a Sim's head is missing! Also, two of the soundtracks used for the Fun Sims' homes don't play at all when the player's inside the Amazing Daryl's House. That's all for now. What do you guys think? I hope all of these bugs and glitches get fixed—and that some new additions are included in the next patch for MySims: Cozy Bundle.
Crash After Trying To Redeem The Motorin' Scroll
I collected the hidden scroll on Candyplooza via metal detecting, but now every time I talk to Lindsey or go to my inventory to click on the Scroll icon....the game just closes. I thought it was a mod I was using which I removed/uninstalled, and the bug still persists even with it completely removed from the Steam version of the game. The game will simply close after trying to do this particular scroll, making it impossible for me to redeem the rewards or check what Scrolls I got in my inventory. There isn't a error or anything either, the game closes each time. So far, it's the only Scroll breaking the game for me as nothing else seems to be doing it, quite literally when I can no longer talk to Lindsey without the game crashing/closing on me. It's the only scroll causing problems unless all hidden scrolls are bugged then that's a problem, except I can't find out when I can't even redeem the rewards for the one I got. Why I stopped looking for the others. Believe the Scroll is called Motorin'. You get the Electric Motor from it, which I need.Add A Cursor Toggle Button
I been playing a lot of the original MySims/MySims Kingdom and the cursor keeps popping up on screen no matter what, even if I don't move my right control stick on my PS4 controller. It's a new controller, no problems with other games. This is simply feedback as I want there being a Cursor Toggle, likely the R3 button being the press the right stick in being a toggle to hide/unhide the on-screen cursor. It keeps appearing when I don't need it, causing prompts on the screen to change to whatever it was highlighting, and it makes it hard to exit buildings, or get the proper prompt. Keep the cursor hidden, off screen until I toggle it to reappear. Please add this feature. It would make playing this on PC more enjoyable for me when the cursor is a nuisance and always gets in my way. I'm not sure if it's possible to add a possible toggle, but it would be appreciated when I would love to have this as a feature for controller.
Mysims cozy bundle error directx 12
I bought the mysims cozy bundle and I can't play it as when I try to load it up i get an error saying that the games minimum requirement of directx 12 with shader model 6.0 is not met. My directx is up to date and all my other sims games work perfectly. I've tried repairing, clearing caxhe and reinstalling both games but still cant play them.
MySims Kingdom glitch Rocket Reef on Switch
I have completed all of the first tasks for Rocket Reef until Tobor’s Ads, Mix the Fuel, and Shape Up to Ship Out! for MySims Kingdom and it won’t trigger into the task for the wiring for the computers or arcade game so I’m stuck in the game, I have done everything I could think of to hopefully move on in the game (includes resetting my switch and stuff) and it’s still stuck
Kingdom: Reform Rusty bug
Unfortunately there seems to be a bug when it comes to reforming Rusty. It’s not letting me actually choose an option. I’ll hit the button correlating with what action I want to take, and it’ll flash green like I’m selecting it, but no action will take place. I’ve shut off my game, double checked that I’m playing the most current version, restarted it, the whole nine yards and nothing is working. Is anybody else facing this?
Cozy Bundle PC: Controller issues, softlocks in Kingdom
Hello, I've been playing MySims Cozy Bundle on Steam with the latest update. I made a previous post addressing some issues, which can be viewed here: Switch Pro Controller on Steam? | EA Forums - 12024430 I was having issues with my Nintendo Switch pro controller, which did not work at all in MySims 1. It now works in the latest update, but there are issues with the UI. No controller buttons show up, and the controls section of the options menu is completely blank. I've attached two screenshots which show this. I also tried using my controller in MySims Kingdom, and came across some issues. Going to the options menu softlocks the game, and pressing the back button does nothing. Also, when using a controller, I have the same issue as MySims 1 where the controls do not show up. When I press a key on my keyboard, it will show the keyboard controls (even after I press a button on my controller again). I've attached screenshots for these. There is another softlock if I go to the user agreement, pressing continue does nothing. Screenshot attached. Most of the issues discussed in my previous post were unaddressed as well. I do hope these get resolved soon so I can fully enjoy the games. Thank you for reading.
Bugs in MySims: Cozy Bundle
In the January patch, it was said that all NPCs could reach best friend status on Kingdom, however when I played on PC after that patch had already been released and upon completing all second round of tasks I still did not reach best friend status for Petal and Alexa (and others too). Also, in Kingdom although exteriors now play two songs they don’t play one after another only one song is looped until you walk away and come back and then the second song is looped unlike the original were both play one after another. It was also said in the January patch that voice lines being too low were fixed in cutscenes however on PC during several scenes many voices were still low, and some NPCs were missing their character icons, Buddy and Lyndsay included. From what I can remember Duchess Beverly was missing her icon in many Cutopia cutscenes and this was persistent for many NPCs throughout the island. I really appreciate you listening to our feedback and improving the game as well as adding new features! I’m eternally grateful you’re making one of my favourite childhood games worthwhile, I just want these little tweaks to fully perfect the game! Thank you, keep doing what you’re doing 🥰
MySims - Rubber Duck shows up under Sim when getting out of bathtub.
Hi again, another bug to report, if a Sim does an animation in the bathtub with a rubber duck involved, said rubber duck when the Sim gets out of the bathtub will end up showing beneath the Sim. This bug wasn’t present in the 2008 PC release. :)MySims - Animations show through floor on Pools
Hi again! I’ve found this bug at launch but sadly it never got patched yet, I also found this bug in the 2008 PC release as well. If you place a Pool near an edge of the room, you can end up seeing Sins looking like they’re diving through the floor, and also Sims’s legs appearing through the floor while idling in the pool. I also noticed that the effects for the Pool (specifically the ripples where their body should be) are slightly higher and don’t match the level of the pool water, for instance Flipper when he’s laughing had ripple effects that appear halfway across his face but should actually be at the pool’s surface. Idk if this may be related to the hot tub animations at all. If these animations and effects could be altered to fix these issues that would be really great! :)
Music of Turntable furniture in MySims does not loop
Minor bug in the MySims Cozy Bundle version of MySims: The Turntable furniture's music will, when interacted with, play its music correctly but will not loop upon reaching the end of the current song, effectively creating a dead silence. This stays until the sim interacting with the furniture changes the current song automatically, or stops interacting with the turntable and starts playing again. This happens regardless of if either the player character or an NPC interacts with the turntable. I hope this minor issue is not too much trouble for you. Attached video was recorded on the Nintendo Switch version on Version 1.4.643285f (the most recent version on April 14th) and showcases what is described above.
MySims Kingdom crashes at create a sim menu
Hi, I have the cozy bundle and the regular mysims game plays but when I start up my kingdom it goes into the king explaining the land and how he's going to pick a new wandelior then when it goes into create a sim the game crashes. Not sure what I'm suppose to do to fix this.
My Sims trophies
I really hope at some point EA will start adding more my sims trophies, I played the my sims games a lot as a kid and I still love the characters, but I'm really hoping that now that the My Sims: Cozy Bundle is out they'll release more my sims trophies like King Roland, Princess Butter, Beebee, Makoto and etc. they're such cute characters and since they can add more fish, Gems and other things as add-ons to the original base game collections via packs I don't see why they can't add more My Sims trophies as well.MySims: Task Book
On PC, when the tasks in the task book go onto a new page and I try to flip to the 2nd page of the book the book just auto closes and I cannot access any tasks on the pages after the first. I checked the other books (Relationship, Blueprint, and Essence Book), it doesn't happen with those, only the Task Book. Anyone else have this problem? Please fix!
I can't save MySims Kingdom progress
I ordered the Cozy Bundle, however the MySims Kingdom game doesn't save. When I click on the save button a window pops up that says NAND. I tried to repair and relaunch it multiple times already to try to fix the problem, but no success. Interestingly, the MySims doesn't have this problem, it works as it should. What should I do to get it to work? I'm lost.MySims: New Sims Fences
On PC, when moving the new exclusive Cozy Bundle Sims in, I believe it's called "Remodel" mode, if they have new fences that were added into the game with them for their businesses/homes, they will not snap together into a corner fence like the old original fences can. Yes I know you need to rotate them, this doesn't work. I do not think this was intended. Please fix this is bugging the heck out of me. Unless I'm freaking crazy. Let me know if anyone else is having this problem. (Unfortunately I'm on the road right now and cannot add a photo.)Mysims cozy bundle Crash Fix on windows 11 for Steam or EA App or Epic Games.
To fix Mysims cozy bundle from crashing in CAS(create a sim) press window button on keyboard, go to settings, tap on privacy&security, go to windows security & click on app&browser control then click on Exploit protection settings tell it all to use default on accept for Data Execution Prevention(DEP) then restart your pc and try the games again it should load successfully after that is fixed because it worked for me.
