Just a suggestion
IDK but to me it seems like we do need that change to the Sims now to where they can actually speak English and not gibberish now that's not to say that the gibberish is not iconic for the Sims it really makes up the characters but In my opinion alone I think the company should switch the Sims to talking plain English now but only try it on 1 platform which should be for the PC if you transition the Sims this way into proper English talking with different voices to choose from I think you'd stand to make more money 🤑 and open the future sums up for other platforms to make even more games just like it if it works out.b914b1c79dd0f1c76 days agoNewcomer30Views0likes0CommentsHappy St. Patrick's Day 2026!

With the recent success and positive reception of the MySims Cozy Bundle on the Nintendo Switch, it really feels like the perfect time to bring back one of the most beloved console entries in the franchise: The Sims Bustin’ Out. For many longtime fans, Bustin’ Out was not just another Sims game. It had a personality and charm that felt completely unique. The objective-based Bust Out Mode gave players a clear sense of progression that made every move to a new house feel exciting and meaningful. Instead of just building endlessly, you were working toward something, unlocking new opportunities, meeting unforgettable characters, and slowly climbing your way through the world. The characters themselves were a huge part of the magic. People still remember personalities like Mom and Uncle Phil because they made the game feel alive and a little bit strange in the best possible way. There was humor, weirdness, and heart baked into the experience that hasn’t quite been replicated in the same way since. For a lot of players, this game holds a deep nostalgic place in their childhood memories. It was the kind of game you could spend hours with, discovering new interactions, completing goals, and feeling like you were part of a quirky little universe. Those memories have stuck with many of us for years. The structure of Bustin’ Out would also translate incredibly well to modern handheld gaming. The mission-style progression and clear goals feel perfectly suited for the pick-up-and-play style of the Switch. Whether it’s a faithful port or a polished remaster, there’s a huge audience of both returning fans and new players who would love to experience this classic again. With the continued popularity of life simulation and cozy games on the Switch, bringing The Sims Bustin’ Out back could introduce an entirely new generation to a truly special chapter in Sims history. A lot of classic games fade away over time, but this one still lives vividly in the memories of fans. It would be amazing to see it given a second life on modern hardware. Would anyone else love to see Bustin’ Out return on the Switch? 🎮JiveTurkey24519 days agoRising Newcomer49Views1like0CommentsThe Sims Medieval 2026

I have done many things. Uninstall - Reinstall Repair Uninstall - Reinstall EA App Install DirectX 9 Install C++ Run in Windows 7 compatibility mode Run as admin Bypassing the EA app and launching through BIN Nothing has let me launch it. I have seen others play this game within the last year or so, but I haven't tried in a long time. [Academic Survey] How First The Sims Experiences Shape Brand Perception
Hello everyone, I'm currently working on my university thesis about how players' first experiences with The Sims series shape the way they see the franchise today. If you started with The Sims 3 or The Sims 4, your perspective would be especially valuable to me, but all Sims players are very welcome. The survey is anonymous, non-commercial and takes about 5–7 minutes to complete. Every single response genuinely helps me move forward with my research, and I'm genuinely grateful to anyone who decides to participate. Thank you very much for your time and support. I have a huge problem with the sims medieval every time I play and go to save it throws me an error code 12 sometimes not 13 as a result I can't save the game and have to do the mission again from the beginning sometimes it really throws me and outside of the panchnidi I've tried everything I don't know why it does it it's tiring I know it's stopped it's been around for years but it's my favorite and the truth is that I recently remembered it because of the new sims 4 pack if you could fix the bugs it has I would appreciate it it's my favorite shame that it didn't make it to other packsdivinaeleni28 days agoRising Newcomer72Views1like2CommentsThe Sims Medieval won't launch
I uninstalled and re-downloaded the Sims Medieval and it didn't work at all. I downloaded powershell and ran this thing that was marked as a solution before: echo "Launch Sims Medieval..." Launch Sims Medieval... PS C:\Windows\System32> PS C:\Windows\System32> do{ >> $TSM = Get-Process TSM, SMLauncher, SimsMedievalLauncher -ErrorAction SilentlyContinue >> }until($TSM) and when I tried to run the Sims Medieval, it pooped out this: PS C:\Windows\System32> PS C:\Windows\System32> $Affinity=$TSM.ProcessorAffinity PS C:\Windows\System32> PS C:\Windows\System32> $TSM.ProcessorAffinity=1 PS C:\Windows\System32> PS C:\Windows\System32> Start-Sleep -s 5 PS C:\Windows\System32> PS C:\Windows\System32> $TSM.ProcessorAffinity=$Affinity SetValueInvocationException: Exception setting "ProcessorAffinity": "Cannot process request because the process (57268) has exited." PS C:\Windows\System32> $TSM.ProcessorAffinity=$Affinity I love TSM and I want to play it very much. I tried to use the EA contact support thing, but every time I said "The Sims Medieval won't launch" to the chat bot, it ended the conversation abruptly. I can't believe the state that EA is letting their app support slip to. This is so disappointing. Why would I ever buy another EA game if it's so hard to get support for them? And if you don't plan on keeping up with game maintenance for an old game, why re-release and re-sell it??64Views0likes1CommentGame crashes while saving
Dude or dudette…I have been a fan since sims 2…however, I’m getting really sick and tired of not being able to play a game I’ve spent hundreds of my husbands dollars on, cause it crashes every time I save! I save to avoid losing game play when the game inevitably crashes, just for it to crash! It’s not right, and you know it. Stick with me, this is going to be long. I have been fighting with this issue for over a YEAR. In 2020, I had my two accounts merged because I didn't realize I had purchased games on separate accounts and it was tedious going between the two just to play games. In February 2024, I attempted to download The Sims Medieval (TSM) on a new computer (Macbook), and got the error message stating that the Installation Verification Failure after the game downloaded, loaded, and went to the main screen to start a new game. I tried re-downloading it on my Windows desktop and had the same issue. I opened a case and went through all the standard troubleshooting with no solution. My case was closed and I can't even see the conversation anymore on my end. Yesterday, I attempted to re-download the game on a brand new Windows computer. It downloaded, launches, loaded, and then gave the exact same error message. I have since cleared the cache 10+ times, repaired the game probably twice as many times. I've talked to about 5 support people because the chat kept closing or in one case, the chat agent closed my case while I was still explaining something. I have tried the powershell script method, didn't work. I have tried running the EA App and TSM as an administrator, didn't work. One of the support people had me go into my command prompts and try and run a DISM and SFC, didn't work. They had me try updating graphics card drivers, didn't work. How about updating the VC++ stuff, didn't work. I've tried explaining that I'm fairly sure this was due to my account merge since all of this happened AFTER I merged my accounts. No one would hear of it and basically ignored that. I pointed out that it was probably a licensing issue because of the merge and the last person said that doesn't happen, even though I've attempted to run the game on numerous computers and different operating systems. The support people failed to read any of my previous correspondence with other support agents so I have been repeating myself for over three hours now (just today) to get a solution. I am extremely frustrated and tired of being told to clear my freaking cache when I have obviously done that.itsanofrommedawg1 month agoSeasoned Newcomer104Views0likes3CommentsSuggestion for the new The Sims Game (Project Rene)
Best EA Community! The Sims is an amazing game and as a creative outlet, even when playing against/with NPC's. But I think that a comprehensive but smooth multiplayer experience would really change the gaming experience altogether... Designing and building a house that you can show off to real humans (as they visit it with their own Sims character) would really make it way more enjoyable. And of course to experience all the other interactions with other humans! Now I want the game to be just as comprehensive as when playing Single Player Mode, but with Multiplayer Mode! For instance if one player selected Fast Forward Mode, then the other players would get notified. And if all players selected Fast Forward Mode then the game would fast forward, until one player disengaged it. I would like to know if you guys know anything about how far Project Rene has come to achieve this! Thank you so much from the Kingdom of Sweden! /AndreasFreethinker_20261 month agoRising Newcomer61Views0likes0CommentsThe Sims Medieval won't launch
I just bought TSM almost 2 weeks ago. It has never been able to launch. It keeps giving me the error "Failed to launch game- an error on our end caused the game to fail. Try again a little later". It has never launched. I'm playing on Windows 11 pro, and all my drivers are up to date. I have more than enough ram, cpu etc for playing this game. I've read the forums and tried running from TSM.exe and got the same message. Thank you for your assistance.cwbethanyc1 month agoRising Novice220Views0likes7Comments- 97Views4likes2Comments
The Sims Bustin Out (GBA): Zodiac Statue & Bumpin' Beach Ball
Hello, this is a very old, but truly beautiful game and maybe there is still a chance to get help with that game. I try to get all objects in that game but I just can't seem to complete the ingame catalog. According to the english official strategy guide, I'm missing two objects: the Zodiac Statue (catalog: 'Decoration') and the Bumpin' Beach Ball (catalog: 'Recreation'). The official guide states that both are "R," meaning rare. The guide says that the statue is zodiac-specific and, along with the Zodiac Recliner, which I was able to find, is the second bonus item in the game. The statue is supposed to appear 'very rarely' in the shops. The ball is listed in the objectlist in the strategy guide with a value of § 29. Both shops and Giuseppi's van are restocked at midnight. So, I saved in the area in front of Giuseppi at 11:58 PM, went to him, checked his objects and the objects of both shops: No Ball, no Zodiac Statue. I then quit the game and restart it to repeat the process. I've done this hundreds of times without finding the statue and the ball. Only all the other items keep reappearing. Does anybody know the solution how to get the Zodiac Statue and the Bumpin' Beach Ball? After 23 years... EA and Maxis, if you're reading this, consider these TS5 ideas. And we really need a Sims 5 so PLEASE release it. The Sims 5: City Life Experience a city life with your Sims in New York inspired Glassbolt. Work your way up from an apartment filled with mice, water leaks, and power outages to an expensive penthouse overlooking all of Glassbolt. Try new city foods, visit neighbors, and get a high end job in City Life. Other city activities include cleaning up graffiti and selling items on the streets of Glassbolt. I think the Sims 5 really will need a city expansion pack to thrive and earn money, so this is one I'm suggesting for TS5. The Sims 5: Professions And Businesses In this pack, Sims can join professions including paramedic, chef, and carpenter. (Hopefully all Sims 5 careers will be professions so we can experience the job) Level up in your career and experience the ups and downs of professions. On the other hand, help your Sims design many types of businesses and run these, helping customers, stocking shelves, and hiring employees to work for you. Build your profession or business empire and make those simoleons! I think people will want a business system to be in TS5 so you can customize every aspect and create a perfect businessDoggyCupcake1 month agoRising Novice57Views0likes0CommentsBringing Classic PS2 The Sims Games to Modern Consoles
Hello, EA! 👋 I’d like to share a request that many longtime The Sims fans would definitely support. On consoles — especially on the PlayStation 2 — we had several amazing Sims games that became unforgettable for an entire generation and are still very loved today: • The Sims • The Urbz: Sims in the City • The Sims Bustin’ Out • The Sims 2 • The Sims 2 Pets • The Sims 2 Castaway Recently, EA has shown interest in revisiting the franchise’s past with the ports of MySims and MySims Kingdom, as well as the recent re-release of The Sims 1 and The Sims 2 Complete Collection. This shows a clear appreciation for the history of the series — something fans truly value. Because of that, I’d love to suggest the possibility of bringing these classic PS2 Sims games to modern consoles (PS5, Xbox, and/or Switch). A full remaster wouldn’t be necessary — just a faithful port with improved resolution, modern controller support, and localized languages would already be incredible. These games were a big part of many people’s childhoods and remain deeply loved. Being able to play them again on current consoles would mean a lot to the community and would be a wonderful way to preserve The Sims’ legacy. Thank you for listening to the fans and for continuing to care for such a beloved franchise 💚_dnnery18_1 month agoSeasoned Newcomer97Views2likes0Comments
