    Really? Are there any files and folders in the Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 folder? At which point do you get the video card error message? The Config.log file provides detailed info about the graphics hardware in your Mac and the settings the game is set to. It also provides a rating for your hardware. It should be in there if it's throwing an error message.

    There are a bunch of documents labeled SIMS4.OFR.50.00.0073.mfst, SIMS4.OFR.50.00.0076.mfst and so on as well as items that look like boxes (see attached) in the Sims 4 folder.

    I get the error message when I try to open the game, when I hit play on origin it gives me the error message instead of launching the game

    What is the exact file path of that file in the screenshot? You should be looking in:

    Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4

    @Taytertot623

    Thanks 🙂

    This shows that your Intel chip is supported so I would think this is just an erroneous message, something has gone a bit haywire:

    === Graphics device info ===
    Number:          0
    Name (driver): Intel HD Graphics 6000
    Name (database): Intel (R) Iris Graphics 6000 [Found: 1, Supported: 1]
    Vendor:          Intel
    Chipset:         Vendor: 8086, Device: 1626, Board: 0000011b, Chipset: 0009
    Driver: macOS Metal driver, Version: 0.0.0.0

    I would run the Origin reset tool - https://help.ea.com/en-gb/help/origin/origin/how-to-reset-origin-on-mac/

    Then try loading the game. If it still happens try a super repair - https://answers.ea.com/t5/Technical-Issues-Mac/READ-FIRST-Sims-4-Mac-Help-Guides-and-Troubleshooting/m-p/4612394#M815
