It didn't fix it. It still only loads halfway and stops.
Tried literally everything that has been suggested and absolutely nothing works. If the internet is on, the game grey screens and will sit there in that state until the end of time. Tried re-downloading the entire game. Didn't fix anything. PSN name is Barreh_

This is still being investigated and it's really disheartening as a longtime Madden fan to hear you've purchased the game and unable to play it for that long. Please get in touch with our Live-Support team either on our website by submitting a case or contact EA Help on Twitter. There have been some successful workaround fixes in this thread, but if they aren't working for you we'll need to get one of our technical support advisors to pull up your account and get this fixed for you ASAP.

I've tried that I'm in Europe so they never call and they never respond to my tweets or DMS I have a few open cases on the chat .can anyone help in anyway ?
Finally got help for me changing DNS to googles DNS fixed it

have a new problem, was playing and the game erased my franchise mode, now when i load the game after i go past the accessibility page where i pick my fav team i get a blue screen saying error every time. this just started today after madden updated to version 1.12

Sounds frustrating what you're going through when you've tried all of those steps, have you tried reaching out to our Support staff so they can take a closer look into this with you?
I'm wondering what your PS4 setup is. Do you have the power plugged into the wall or a surge protector? Do you have the game plugged into a T.V. or computer monitor?
I have an external hard drive and a usb thing for my mic to work for bluetooth so I have to have both of them in. Yes I even did a live chat thing with someone and he barely spoke any English and his sentences did not make any sense and my issue was not resolved. I have my PS4 plugged into an extension power strip and then my ps4 is also plugged into a 40" smart TV. So I'm not sure what difference it really makes because the past maddens have worked on this same setup.
Community AdminIs it an official PlayStation licensed external hard drive? I think we might be onto something here with both the external and bluetooth mic.
I've seen a lot of players experience performance issues when they use external hard drives because the files will be installed on both the external and internal drive (somehow, possibly from game updates). The game is trying to pull data from two different sources, which can cause freezing or hang ups.
What I first recommend doing is unplugging your bluetooth mic from the USB slot and power cycle your PS4. Launch the game and see what happens. If it doesn't freeze, we know it might be a compatibility issue with the mic.
If it freezes, please uninstall the game on your external hard drive, unplug it, and check to see if there are any files on your internal drive and uninstall those as well. Try installing the game again on the internal drive and launch the game.

When I uninstalled the game and redownloaded it the first time I made sure all the files for Madden were installed on my PS4 hard drive. When I deleted and redownloaded the second time I had my external hard drive unplugged so it only went to my PS4 hard drive. I unplugged the bluetooth headset thing and that did not worked went and double checked all the madden were on my PS4 drive and none were on my external hard drive. So it has all been on my PS4 hard drive for days now. I unplugged the hard drive did a power cycle and it still did the same thing. All my other games have worked that have been installed on my external hard drive so I don't see how that could be an issue. Once it froze the second time, which was without anything in the USB I uninstalled the game made sure my hard drive was not plugged in and reinstalled it and it still froze again. I have never had any issues with this hard drive and it not being compatible with my PS4 because I have about half of my games installed on it and they all work perfectly normal. I do not see any other option for fixing this what so ever. I would like to say though, you are a lot more helpful than the guy I talked to on the live chat. Please tell me what to do next because I cannot think of anything else.
