Fake Dev Threatened to Ban Me

Hello EA Team and Apex Moderators

 

I want to report a serious incident. A player named [OGC] CIT98 pretended to be a developer (“Dev”) during an Apex Legends match and threatened to ban me and my teammates.

 

He wrote the following fake command in the in-game chat:

He repeatedly insulted and intimidated us, claiming that all good loot and weapons belonged to him.

When I opened a shop slightly away from him, he started insulting me again and said he would ban me.

 

Such behavior is unacceptable and ruins the game experience.

I have personally spent over 1 000 EUR on Apex Legends and find it unacceptable that someone impersonates EA staff to threaten players.

 

Please review this account and suspend it if the behavior is confirmed.
