All the skins disappeared in the cross-progression.

I am posting here for the first time, so I apologize if this post has been posted in a section other than the cross-progression questions section due to some kind of mistake.

Cross progression came to my APEX today and all my skins from my PS4 account are gone.
I had heard that badges and levels would disappear, but I am sad that the skins are gone as well.

The situation is as follows

1. I was told that a cross-progression is coming, so I checked my account ties.
2. I noticed that my PS4 account was linked to an account that I don't use at all on my PC, so I unlinked it.
3. Link your PS4 account to your main PC account.
4. Cross-progression arrives today.
5.Only the PC data remains, even if I log in on PS4, it will be the PC data, the PS4 skins will disappear.


I would appreciate if you could give me a solution.

  • @YT_shunshunGames This is happening to a lot of people, same with mine it got wiped to level 1 which is what the pc account I was on was at and my Xbox stuff got wiped. I’ve seen instances of people getting their stuff restored but EA are being stubborn saying they “cant” do it.

    I see that someone else had the same problem. It is so sad to hear that.
    It brings tears to my eyes to think that all the things I have collected will never come back.

    Keep the hope mate, they definitely know how to restore these things, just have to keep pushing at them. It’s criminal, my dad is a lawyer and he’s been looking into it today and says that even small companies have backups to the cloud and such and that it doesn’t seem legal. So hopefully if I can sort this out soon we are going to look at taking action.

    No problem at all, and yes! You’re not alone. Keep pushing them to restore our stuff, they have it there 100%

    did u ever have any luck getting your skins, same happened to me...and it seems like creating a case through EA help just sends and automated message that advises you to follow steps or go back to help...endless loop of nothing. wondering  if people have actually had any luck getting items back and if yes, how they did it??

  • Same, I just logged onto my PC and all my stuff is gone.

    Skins I paid money for are gone, all my twitch drops are gone, I am genuinely so pissed that I am beyond being angry.

    If I don't get my stuff back I don't know if I can ever play the game again.
