Apex 1.86 extremely slow to copy file

Hello! Recently decided to play apex. Noticed a update needes. Downloaded update in 5 seconds, however, when it went to copy the update file, it is now taking 15 seconds to move 1%. Thats 25 min to copy an update file that downloaded in 5 seconds. I know I am not alone in this because I saw a youtube video (https://youtu.be/VQHgF0--o2U) of someone that has the same problem. I have not had these issues in the past with apex or other games. Can I get an explanation? Maybe this can be fixed for future people? (Im on ps4)
