Apex coins from EA Wallet

I recently purchased $65 in EA gift cards from Walmart online. Walmart sent me emails containing short codes that I was able to enter into my EA Wallet no problem. My balance says $65. However, when I try to purchase the Apex coins using the "EA Wallet" payment method, it asks for a product code. The codes that Walmart sent me do not work for purchasing the coins, but the funds are already added to my wallet. Did I just screw up and lose $65 because I purchased the cards through Walmart? Or is there some other way for me to access the funds in my EA wallet to purchase the coins.

[CM - Edited to remove attached codes]

    Hey @anemicdolphinog,

Were you trying to purchase those coins through a website storefront, or directly through the shop in-game?

As these funds were already added to your EA Wallet, were you able to try signing into Apex via the EA app specifically to see if you're able to pick up the coins there?

If this error is popping up in-game through the EA app, can you grab a screenshot for us? Thanks!

  • I was trying to use the EA app to purchase the coins. Whenever I clicked "Use EA Wallet" I get the message asking for a product code. None of the codes I received from walmart worked, and there does not seem to be a way to just use the balance in my EA Wallet. I was told to try and use the Origin store to purchase the coins, but as far as I know the Origin store no longer exists.

  • @EA_Mako UPDATE: I was able to download Origin and purchase the coins through that store front. Thank you!

Glad to hear that did the trick @anemicdolphinog, thanks for dropping back in with the update.

    Enjoy the cosmetics!
