Apex disables microphone?

I started playing apex some days ago and i've encountered a very weird issue.

As soon as apex launches, my mic stops working. at all. it's not just the apex vc, as soon as it opens, the microphone's input disappears.

I can see it still connected, like nothing changed, but when i look to see if it recieves any input, it is dead quiet.

I use it for VC in discord specifically, I can converse and use it normally right until the apex app launches.

I tried reinstalling, i tried switching microphones, nothing seems to change anything.

I've looked for people with the same issue, didn't seem like this specific issue happened to anyone else, and i tried anything i found others suggesting.

I've never encountered this issue with any other game, and voice communication can be very important in apex.

Please, help me solve this 😞
