Also having this issue on windows version. Graphics card is all updated, no overlays, verified steam game files 100%, uninstalled, reinstalled, same issue.

I boot up Apex, hit continue to log in, loads up super slow, gets to the main lobby and within 30sec freezes the entire computer. No other games are doing this to my PC....
