Apex Legends: Anti Cheat keeps kicking me from the game

I have been playing apex for about 5 years now. I have nearly 2k hours on PC and around 1.5k on console. In the last 6 months, I have had issues loading into the game. There are times when I will load in and play for an hour or two and randomly get kicked when loading into a game. The error message I get when this occurs is "The client is not running the anti-cheat, or has failed the anti-cheat authentication". The other error I get is if I load into the game, and return to the main menu (this occurs when I leave my PC with the game running). The error I get then is "The connection to matchmaking server failed. CODE 408". I assume that these errors are caused by the same issue.

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling all apex files. I have tried launching through the EA app, Steam, and the desktop shortcuts that both apps have. Additionally, I used to play on Origin before they switched to exclusively the EA app. I have since uninstalled Origin. I have also tried uninstalling apex on EA and then deleting the EA app, and launching through steam. I just recently tried to redownload the EA app and download Apex there again and launch. No success.

Additionally, I have tried to go through multiple help forums and tried to use the EA help site directly. Nothing has helped. I'm considering completely wiping my computer and redownloading everything. Additionally, I have been unable to get into contact with a live EA Help person. I'm curious is there is something they can see on their end that may help me figure out the problem.

My main source of confusion is that I will be playing the game with friends like nothings wrong. We will land somewhere and die instantly, and when we go to load into the next game it kicks me and I can not play again for hours. Other times, I will be playing solo and win a game and get kicked as I load into the next game. It's happened on every map, with any loadout, and with any result. I am just about at my wits end. Any help suggestion would be amazing

    @jck33161 I run into the same error as well. Usually when I see it, its when I'm returning from a match, or I'm queing into another one.

    I'm not fully sure what causes it, but hopefully it can get fixed by Respawn soon.

    It continues to be an issue. I can play for about about an hour before I end up getting kicked. Cant load back into the game either. Just have to wait a while and hope it works eventually. Really making me want to stop playing. I play other games with Anti Cheat and have no issues what so ever. As a loyal customer and die hard fan of this game, it's insane that I have been unable to get any help with this.

    5 months and multiple patches/updates later and this issue is still occurring. Just got off 3 hours of chatting/issue resolution with EA help. This is the update that they gave me at the end of the time trying (and failing) to fix this issue: "Evidently, this is an on-going issue with the game at the moment. Just like you, hundreds of thousands of players are also impacted by the same situation. Good news is our game teams are on it. They're literally working on a fix as we speak. It won't be long before this gets taken care. Once that happens, this'll be resolved not just for you but for all affected players. We never expect something like this to happen."

    Leaving this here as hopefully anyone else with this issue can interact and potentially get the devs more involved in fixing. Until then, just sad that I can barely play the game I love. Especially with the new event, was just about to buy all the remaining packs smh
