apex legends EA accounts merge

I just got the prompt screen for cross progression on my pc but it didn't merge my Xbox account, So I found out that my Xbox account is linked to a different EA account from my pc EA account. If I switch my pc EA account to my Xbox EA account will it merge? or can I merge my Xbox EA account to my pc EA account, will I get a another cross progression prompt? please I don't want to lose my heirlooms and skins on one account or have them sitting on two different accounts, that would defeat the whole purpose of merging and cross progression. I spent way too much money on both accounts to lose them or have them split like this, I just want one account with all my stuff please.

    Hey @kerryslickThe cross-progression update will not merge two separate accounts. You can only use this feature on the same EA account you played with. 

    The game progress cannot be transferred between different EA accounts, as unlinking any of the platform accounts will simply reset your progress.

    This is a major issue that many EA users are facing, I think that you guys should have a fix for this so we can merge to EA accounts to one. I have invested way too much funds into these accounts for it to be just wiped away like this. Please have your team look into this.
