Apex Legends freezes before i get to choose character

My Game keeps freezing when i try to go in a match. I've tried fixing the files but it still keeps crashing. Before the character choosing screen, it just freezes at the countdown and nothing happens...

I have this same problem,  not constantly but randomly, every once in a while the game will freeze on the character select. ive tried repairing but not sure if it worked or not

still no fix? this is annoying. also when i open task manager to close the game, its showing 4500 MB of memory being used. i'm sure that's no supposed to happen

    What really makes it great is the knew game abandonment penalty. My game crashes over and over and over and now they make the game LITERALLY UNPLAYABLE after the game crashes.
