Apex Legends freezes entire PC

I can reach the main menu and sit in the lobby without any issue at first

However, after a short time, usually a few minutes, the game freezes my entire laptop, not just the game itself. When this happens, the screen completely locks up and the keyboard and mouse stops responding. Ctrl + Alt + Del doe snot work and i cannot Alt + Tab or close the game or do anything on the laptop as it is fully frozen and unresponsive.

The only way to recover is to force shut down by holding down the power button and restarting.

This happens while even sitting in the lobby and not even in matches. Ive tried reinstalling game, checking game files, updating drivers and changing graphic settings. I use to have no issues like this but suddenly recently it first happened and it is unplayable now.
