Apex Low FPS

Hi Everyone

So I am trying to figure out if there is a way for me to increase my FPS and make it stable throughout the game. To me, it seems that there are two major problems for me. When entering fights, or when in larger areas where I have to render more view distance. I have attached my specs, and I would like to know how I can improve my gameplay FPS. I am a broke college student so I cannot buy a new PC or replace expensive parts. Honestly, I would just like an option to lower my view distance dramatically. Fighting in close corners I get solid FPS and the view distance is way bigger than I need it to be.

  • Lowering video settings that would help a bit it might not help with stuttering cause most or all of it is caused by the servers not working properly.. Search for a nvidia driver that works best for your graphics card.. Disable intel speedstep and turbo boost since your not on a laptop anyway

AS @Konform103  said, the best thing to do @ToastyWafflenom is try lowering your settings. I would suggest lowering everything as far as you can and then start playing around with your settings to find the settings which work best for you.

  • I have lowered my settings to the absolute max. Yet still not constant frame rate. My freaking 4 year old PS4 does a better job running this game than my alienware pc that i bought 2 years ago..

    PS4: 1.8 terraflops, 176GB/s memory bandwith DDR5
    GTX 745: 25gigaflops, 29GB/S memory bandwith DDR3

Plus windows 10 eating up memory and processer.. I dont know about first gen ps4 specs but yeah...

I see your processor is running at Processor Base Frequency 2.7 ghz while its turbo is 3.3ghz.. Like stated above disable intel speedstep and intel turbo.. This wont make up for an older gpu but helps a bit i think
  • Very low fps for me too, already tried every method i can find on the internet to increase the fps but still the same. Im talking about having an i7 7700hq and gtx 1080, most of the time i got 40- 90fps unless u stare at the skybox. Graphic settings are all set to low too.

  • "Like stated above disable intel speedstep and intel turbo" I am not much of a tech guy. How do I disable these functions? I am very interested in every possible way to increase fps. I don't care about texture and graphics as well as view distance etc. All I need it at least 60 fps throughout the games and in fights. this is the first game I've encountered that ive played on this pc since I bought it where that hasn't been achievable.
  • I was able to disable Intel Speedstep, although it said disabling this would decrease my performance. I cannot find Intel Turbo in the BIOS. Can you help me a bit?

It should be located in the menu "OC" overclocking.. But your alienware seems to have a particular user interface in the bios so i dont really know where it is.. It should be near cpu settings
