Cannot link Xbox and pc accounts

I normally play apex on my xbox but due to how bad the optimization is for xbox i decided to try and play on my pc, I attempted to link my xbox account but it kept forcing me to link some random acc...

Hi there. I removed the image showing player IDs. I understand they might not be yours, but account details shouldn't be posted on public forums.
