Can't play with friends because Ranks Don't Load

I've had this issue for quite a while now. Sometimes my friends ranks do not load and it shows them as bronze IV, even though they are not that rank. It does not allow me to ready up, giving the erro...

For your friend having issues is he on the same platform as you and has he done any troubleshooting?

The issue happens for all of my friends which makes me think that it is some sort of connection issue to the server on my end. I've tried with friends from all different platforms and it occurs no matter what platform they are on. Some times it loads fine and we can play, other times it just won't work.

Any updates? New ranked season just came out and its a pain for everyone to restart their game until it works.
