Community AdminWe have seen issues related to numbers of friends, and in some cases non-standard characters in friendlists in the past.
They should be resolved but this could be a factor.
Does your affected account have a lot of friends? Are you able to purge it of friends and then test if the issue persists?

I have already cleared some of my friends, and it will flash back when I enter the game and click the friend option.
