Club does not register

Hi all. I seem to have been accepted to an existing club, but the club screen has not changed from 'Find a club'/'Create a club'. I know I have been accepted because when in a match, or clicking on my name in the main menu, I can see the clan tag in front of my name. Am I missing something?

EDIT: Attempting to see if I can fix the issue. I tried closing and reopening my game, and club screen is still search and I still have a tag in my player screen.

EDIT2: It seems inconsistent that it shows in game, but regardless I'm hoping for either a way to communicate with the club, or remove the tag lol.

    Hi @Aavacahdo

    Have you played Apex Legends on any other platforms using this same EA Account? Also, did you ever unlink any platform accounts from your EA Account?

  • Hi @EA_Kent !

    I have not played Apex Legends on any other platforms using this EA account, at least to my knowledge. I do not think I have unlinked any platforms either, and the only link right now is to my steam where I launch the game from.

    @Aavacahdo

    Got it, thanks!

    Can we try a few other troubleshooting steps to see if we can fix this here? A good place to start off would be with the basic connectivity steps from the EA Help website. If it keeps giving you trouble after that check out the PC-specific steps as well.

    Let me know if the Club menu is still acting up after that. Thanks again!

    I took a look at both of those connectivity articles. To clarify just in case, I did double check and I am still in a club (the tag still exists after clicking on my name) before doing these tests.

    For the basic, I assumed the best to try is end-to-end (since I am not having disconnections at any other time). I ran UOTrace and the only concern with those results is 2 hops are 100% loss, but otherwise it seemed perfectly fine when pinging easo.ea.com. I tested it with the 100 packets. I have attached that file/log incase it can be useful.

    For PC specific, I am hardwired with ethernet so I don't think the source problem would be there.

    • I attempted to try to run the game as administrator (by going to local files from steam, and toggling both the cheat detector and game application to launch with admin). Still no changes on club screen after double checking the game. All launches after this are with admin enabled.
    • I flushed my DNS cache and rebooted, no changes on club screen either.
    • I must admit I did not try a clean boot, but I'm not entirely sure it would help since everything else in the game is fine. (if this is irrational thinking, please let me know!)
    • Otherwise, for background applications, I only had origin running in the background and closing that did not seem to fix it after a restart in game.

    @Aavacahdo

    Thank you for giving it a shot!

    I'll pass this along for a look.
