same problem here since last update. noting helps. thank you ea!
Hello, I have had the same issue, ever since the masters patch Tuesday or Wednesday morning, I have been unable to play I have spent 8+ hours trying to fix the issue, and have talked to 3 people on the helpline who have refused to acknowledge it's an issue with them. There is nothing wrong from my side. Similar to the issue from January where people weren't able to play for 2 months.
If anyone finds a fix to this issue, please let me know.yes, I also tried all the possible options that only exist and nothing helped...
I have the same problem too, and it takes a long time to load the game loading screen.
I have code:net but similar issue
Had same problem. Currently solved by going directly into C:/Program Files(x86)/Origin Games/Apex and running r5apex.exe as admin.
I have similar issues but I'm still able to play (with some patience).
Perhaps it might work for some of you, so I'll share my process:
1) I log in to Apex Legends and I get stuck on the black loading screen for a while. Sometimes I get through the first time, sometimes I need a second try.
2) When in the lobby, I change the game mode to "firing range". This will freeze my game and it makes my computer sound like it wants to mow my lawn. I get the unable to connect notification (code:net).
3) I re-enter the lobby and right now, the game mode is already the firing range. I select "ready" and there are no issues now.
4) After a few minutes of killing motionless and defenseless dummies, I quit the firing range and go back to the lobby.
5) I select a public match (trios). My game will stutter once but it doesn't kick me out. I select "ready" and it puts me in a game with some delay but it's still less than a minute.
As you can see, this is NOT a fix. However, it allows me to play the game and my games feel no different than before the latest update.

It helps because apparently there's something really wrong with caching/preloading assets when game starts, which was added/modified with Genesis patch. If you do anything in Apex for some time after starting it, the issue will eventually go away; unfortunately with 1hr rotation between "old" maps, it doesn't help very much as half of that time you're trying to connect.
- @ArVa2816 thank you this helped me
i just started having that issue but I'm in us servers it always kicks me mid game
