Cross Progression STILL not prompted

How in the world can I be this late into December without any cross progression prompt? I've been playing since season 3. My entire friend group that also started the same time as me and all of them have received their cross progression prompt 3+ weeks ago. This idea has been years in the making and yet is still full of flaws, this worst part is that I can't even talk to anyone over the phone and this whole experience unfortunately makes me want to play another game. Hopefully someone has a quick fix, thanks.

If you're playing on PC through Steam, you'll need to make sure you unlink your Steam account from this current EA account first.

After that, you'll need to link that Steam account to the same EA account that has your PSN progress.

If you play through the EA app on PC instead, this just uses your EA ID (username) rather than a separate Steam link, so this re-linking portion would not be necessary.

From there you can certainly look into deleting the account and re-using that email elsewhere, though I would typically recommend just changing the email address on both accounts rather than fully deleting one just in case it has any other games or content.

If you run into any trouble or need assistance with any of these changes, please get in touch with our support team directly so they can assist, as we're unable to make changes via the forums.

If you create a new case here and select Game Support > The EA app > I want to update my EA Account information, you should be able to get in touch with the support team so they can assist further.

    Hey @hamboneeeee,

I'm seeing this account had Cross Progression enabled back towards the end of November, actually.

It looks like you've only accessed Apex on PC from this EA account, so there wouldn't have been an additional merge notification aside from the initial pop-up about Cross Progression arriving.

Did you play from a different EA account at some point in the past?

Keep in mind as outlined below, content cannot be transferred from one EA account to another, so if you had played on multiple EA accounts I'm afraid there won't be a way to merge that content.

  • Odd, I don't recall seeing the notification. This must be the case since my emails are different. So the problem is that the account on my PS5 is through an email I don't use, but I want the PS5 account on my PC. So is it possible to delete the account entirely that I've been using on my PC, log into the EA website and change that email to my current one, then use that email to log into my old one on my PC?

Because when I attempt to change the email to my current, it says an account with that email already exist. So I wonder if I can delete the account that's already existing with the email I want to use, then change the account to the email I want to use. I'm okay with losing everything on my current PC account because I have much more on my old account.

  • Awesome! You've been very helpful. The only question I have is how would I change the emails to just one that is in common. Because when I go to change the emails to the one that I want, it says that the email is already linked to another account (my current PC one), therefore the only thing I could do is delete that account, so I can use that email for my new one.

Right, you would need to change that current email first. If you have a third email or make a free one you'd be able to do this on your end, but that may otherwise need assistance from support if you're just trying to swap the two directly.
