Demotion before split ends
Has anyone else got demoted after doing the update on ps4? I was platinum 1 with 289 points left to be in diamond and after doing the update I got demoted to gold 3 with 6 days still left of the spli...

Can I check what region you're in, and if you use a VPN. If you connect to a data center outside your region, can I check where you connect to? Also, is your system set to a language other than English?
Sorry for the barrage of questions, but the answers might help illuminate us on why this is happening.

My region is USA, English is Language.
I play on PS4 and my psn is nva_whycookies
I was masters and got demoted to plat 2. Imagine grinding to #4,000 and then getting reset after you are excited for the lost treasures update. I also use no vpn and my internet is plugged into my PS4. Never changed anything with my settings.
Will this be fixed? Will I be plat 2 for second split? Or will I be punished for putting too many hours into ranked?
