Unless it's specifically called out we try not to make assumptions of someone's technical troubleshooting skills as we have a pretty wide variety of players with varying degrees of knowledge about that type of thing.
If you happen to use the performance display option while playing, that should list a Server ID (SID) as well. While certainly not a requirement when you're letting us know about an issue, that information does let the team see exactly which server was in use at the time so they can better check for any potential issues.
Just something to keep in mind for the future, though hopefully you won't run into this type of situation going forward. Thanks for the post!
I’ve had this issue occur on multiple occasions regardless of how many times I reset my modem/router. I was playing for about an hour just fine, and then the next match the game freezes on the loading screen before the character selection, and I couldn’t do anything. If I leave, I get an abandonment penalty and a loss in RP. However, in this case I lost triple the amount in RP. I lost 174 RP in one match and I’m in Diamond 4. The fact that this is happening is ridiculous. I’ll even add the picture of what happened, because I know Respawn has already said that they are doing a one-time refund in loss of RP. So, I definitely expect those points back.
