error 0x8000002

Question

Hi, I can't log in to Apex after the latest update and I get error 0x8000002. I searched on YouTube for a solution but I checked everything but I couldn't solve it. Please help me. The latest update caused this problem. I can't log in to the game while no programs are open in Windows and I haven't used any emulators or controllers or scripts in the past or now. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the game, updated the graphics card, deleted the anti-cheat folder, deleted the folder in the game save, and verified the files from Steam but the problem still didn't get solved. Please help me. I have been having this problem for more than 10 days.

This error indicates there is a program or process running in the background that is conflicting with Apex.
Going through a clean boot using the steps Mikimuster3 provided would be a great place to start so you can narrow down which program may be causing this.
