Every time I've tried launching the game I'm met with the same screen which says: Error Code: 30005 (CreateFile failed with 32.) The link provided in the error message doesn't cover this and I can't think of any other solution. Anyone else have this?
SOLUTION:
Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\EasyAntiCheat and delete the .sys file
the game should now work!
I've tried every solution listed here. Nothing has worked yet.
Restarting PC makes Apex work for one game after that, Game crashes and I start recieving this Error message all over again until I restart my computer again.
Hopefully there will be some kind of long term fix for this soon.
CrazyGiank thanks for your comment - deductive and intelligent, you really helped me not panic when my game crashed. Sure enough once the scan finished the game loaded again...Kaspersky's scan must have "quarantined" some of the files necessary for the game.
I had this issue today and I discovered the root cause. My antivirus (Kasperski) was running a rootkit scan while this happened. So, I decided to wait for the scan to finish assuming it was the antivirus preventing the game to execute and create the temp files it needs (The anticheat specifically), and it was it. Once the antivirus finished I was able to start the game without issues, no need for a PC restart or nothing alike.
@chimcharlieGo to Origin and right click on your game, choose repair and wait for about 15 min and launch it again. Hope it works
What i did was move the EasyAntiCheat.sys file to desktop but i dont think it will help
It worked for me so i dont rage anymore the file is in C:\Program Files (x86)\EasyAntiCheat/EasyAntiCheat.sys
it just comes back
