Game stuck loading the "play" button on title screen

I'm on PC-Steam trying to play Apex. After the August patch I load in and its just sitting on the title screen loading the "play" button. This is very frustrating. I've already verified, and reinstal...

    It just randomly worked!!!

I tried playing on a different computer using origin. It worked, somewhat, but it was quite broken. Very laggy, unably to check the news, 4 attempts to try and join. It's very odd. Please can EA help?
